Angry Birds Star Wars 2 Rewards Chapter Level PR-8 General Grievous Walkthrough

One non-character swap strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars II Rewards Chapter level PR-8 is to fling General Grievous through the leftmost enemy, using his quad-lightsaber attack to avoid slowing down. Grievous should continue through both chains, dropping massive weights onto the enemies below. Send another General into the right tower, detonating the TNT within. Debris should reach the TNT next to the left structure as well. The score in the video below is 138,640.

Reward Chapter levels are unlocked by obtaining a predetermined amount of damage points with a specific character. For a complete layout of these thresholds, see our achievements list. We also have a handy Complete Characters Guide that breaks down all the characters and their abilities. If you have a different strategy leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments, as that's what the leaderboards are for.

I gave up and shot the first frog and the two chains with a black stormtrooper, then cleaned up with a Grievous. Much less torture. :-)

You don’t have to cut both chains to get a two “porker”. I was trying like the video and while I was able to cut both chains on a few occasions, the right tnt never did send debris far enough to ignite the left one. I did however get several different two birdies. On one turn I cut through both chains as in the video and the right big metal piece bounced hard enough to cause the right structure to become unstable and the tnt blew. So I sent in a second Grevious to the left structure thinking I would get a great score…Not the case, my two birdie score was only 131140. I’ve also had both chains cut and the left chain ignited the left tnt…second G.G. to the right structure…score was only 131460.

I got my best two “porker” score by sending the first G.G. like the video but he only cut the left chain. When the big metal piece fell, the chain whipped left and ignited the left tnt. I sent another G.G. in with the same exact trajectory to cut the right chain. When it fell, it again hit hard enough to set of the right tnt ;-) 137160, Yippie!!! Moving on now ;-)

Btw…That was a sweet walkthrough video @amslimfordy – not easy to do ;-)

One-birder is possible. Cut both chains as in the video, right-hand weight fell on inside half of the right platform. Then WAIT, keeping an eye on that right-hand tower. It took several seconds, but the heavy landing of that right-hand weight on the platform destabilizes the tower juuuust enough to blow the TNT, taking out the rest of the level. Don’t do what I did and launch the 2nd GG right before the TNT blew, then have to spend another however-long before finally replicating the strategy.

Also had one-porker with GG. Scored 137,710 same way as HMJinLA except one of the bricks from the right tower flew over and hit TNT on the left tower.

Tried something different for a one-pig solution. Fling Count Dooku under/through the floating frog-like creature on the left. Activate with boomerang upward cutting both chains up to the right. When it works all the tnts activate, the two stones structures on chains fall all the way to the bottom and both left and right structures are almost gone. Obtained 144,860.

Two pig solution: Count Dooku into the upper chains and clean up with Darth Vader into the left structure. Obtained 138,840.

OK….Forgive me …and hoping someone can help.
I am reading through all this but I am mystified about how to unlock all the reward chapter characters.
I have completed and gotten three stars on both bird side and porkside levels for Naboo Invasion, Escape to Tatooine and Battle of Naboo … and I think I found all the maps and collectibles …. but in the Reward Chapter, I still have lots of characters, both birdside and porkside, to unlock.
So, what am I doing wrong? Is there anything I can do to go back and unlock these characters?

Hi Wendy, I think the second paragraph in the walkthrough post addresses this question. But if you still have concerns, please let us know.

Tie fighter works well for cutting chains. Wait until the two dangling steel wedges are near the bottom and the time shot to cut the chains at the top. The longer chains have a better chance of knocking over the left (hitting TNT) and right structures.
