One non-character swap strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars II Naboo Invasion level P1-5 is to launch Jango Fett straight ahead and fire his rocket in-between the middle and top boards. This should release the metal boulder and cause the level to explode. The score in the video below is 95,650.

I improve from 97 to 98 trying to copy @dennis1978 method. It easier to send JF flat rasing arc – like arc will end inside right wooden corridor. I shoot lately.

My aim is the same as a video, but the timing to tap it is early.
The pork cuts a chain by hastening a timing.
It is luck, how long can square blocking disturb the dash of the tree by an explosion afterward.

Thanks for the tip @thee-michelle of shooting laser sooner. This way JF goes up instead of down, cutting the chain. I got lots of extra damage points this way ;-) The wood sticks drop sooner and the cement can fly up left and chop up some of the long wood sticks. Here’s a trajectory and what remained:

Thanks @lesleyg and to @thee-michelle too! Angry Advisor’s screen shot really helped me realize when to tap the ball to get Jango’s missile to go straight through the two planks to the ball and for Jango to fly UP to the chain instead of down. Of course it is touchy and I’ve only managed to increase score by about 2k, but it is still nice to get some improvement during these challenges.

I used Land.
His powerful laser fitted this level very much.
Even if the position to aim at did not select it in particular, I felt that it was all right.
The position to tap is some bottoms of the metal ball.
At the moment when I let go of sling in timing to tap it.
The mean will become 107K if you try ten times.

@thee-michelle I used your suggestion of swapping out for Lando and aiming at the bottom of the stone ball as soon as Lando is released from the sling. A quick follow up shot with Kit Fisto at the collection of stone blocks added a lot to the score. Ended up with 108K !!!!!

@mpg973, did you use the same strategy (using character swap for the Biker Scout) on today’s challenge? You did increase by s few points back to the Top of the leaderboard. Thanks.

I’m sticking with Jango Fett – I guess I’m a puritan. I only have been using the character swaps when I’m trying to get the bonus levels to open and I’ve still got a long way to go before I can open most of those.

My aim was similar to the walkthrough but I fired the rocket immediately on launching Jango Fett. Seems others have been using same method. Not an easy shot to get right. The first few times I managed to hit the metal ball it shot straight over the TNT.

And so it begins. I finally made 3 stars. It IS a hard shot. I keep hitting the end of the top horizontal wooden board. I’ve been waiting until the last moment to fire. I’ll try firing immediately following launch, but not sure if my reflexes are quick enough. Good luck all!

It definitely is important to fire right after launch while the porker is still gaining altitude. The missile needs to hit its mark, obviously, but pork pie needs to jet up to the right and take out the chain to get more points. If his trajectory is heading down, instead of climbing, he hits the floor after firing the missile,and does no significant damage.

@mecstaveler, I found that firing a bit delayed after launch works better for me, but Jango’s missile is very touchy – it will go where you point (more or less), so recommend touching the cement ball right after launch – the missile should go straight between the top two wooden planks and hit the ball dead on. You will have to play with the launch and touch timing a bit as sometimes it will knock the ball too far and miss the TNT. Good luck!

Was trying Jango Fett then read about Lando and now have top score using him. I know it’s a swap shot. Pure luck the way his laser kept bouncing back and forth then the ball rolled onto TNT. Thanks thee-michelle

Fling Kit Fisto over the stony box in left side of Captain Bird (not engine), before hitting, activate light-saber, Kit will destroys lots of things, he should crash the orange TNT box to finish the game.
