One non-character swap strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars II Naboo Invasion level P1-14 is to launch the Battle Droid at a downward angle towards the bottom right battle station. As he approaches the right side of the level fire his blasters up to blow up the metal TNT box. The score in the video below is 58,970.

Scores seems to be fairly consistent – quite a few 58,770’s, 1 58,970 then match the top score of 59,170.

Best score seems to come from timing the blaster shots so that the last shot hits the TNT and the 1st 2 hit the metal work and score points.

Basically the same idea, and same score range looks like: I skimmed the battle droid along the top, between the top left battle station and the metal triangles, shooting out the TNT from the far side.

I must have scored 58,970 two dozen times. My only score above that so far is 59,380.

IF I well remember I played it absolute differently than video way (I sow the film now). I fly diagonally to the square inside and shoot at opposite triangle corner. I made it so fast so I have a clue – I based on my memory there. Mayby this is not paralell to the “walls” of square shooting but little precisly imprecise ;).

I think my approach is similar to that of Bird Tester but not sure. I fly into the square, just below the arrow, shoot through the lower left bird hitting the middle triangle on the bottom.

With some luck with the ricochet, one of the shots go on to set off the TNT. This is the only way I have found to get above 60k.

The above 2 strategies don’t quite make sense to me – maybe it’s me and I am reading it wrong. But I fly diagonally to the square inside and shoot at opposite triangle corner. doesn’t give me a direction. As for I fly into the square, just below the arrow – there is no “square” below the arrow.

All that said, I do have an alternative strat that netted me 61k. The Arrow is one big clue.

Whack the BD into the square block closest to the sling-shot about 1/4-1/2 way up the edge facing you. As you loose the BD, aim the laser shots towards the centre of the bottom triangle, at least one shot should ricochet into the TNT and wipe the level.

I mean flying in the one of nearest corners, and vertical shots in the the other, opposite one quoin but forget it. @cmdrbond way simply rocks! I improve from #8, by #6 to 63K / #3. To be true I have some problems with his decryption too so I wrote my own version.

Aim point lines targeting through big gray arrow – yes, it invites all to do the same – near center of rotating (most of time) asteroid. Fly, tilt a low corner of arrrow end, shoot by the base of triangle in the middle of low side of square.

Definitely more then one shoot could hit TNT and interac around for more points. Scores range 61-62 are almost garanteed, Once I passed 63K.

Yes thanks @cmdrbond for a very repeatable and easy strategy and @bird-tester for clarifying it a bit. I found that it gave me a little higher score if I let the BD going through and just beyond the triangle below the arrow before i fired the laser.

I have no idea – I struggle to get to 61k!

My strat involves firing before hitting the arrow, does yours?

I understand to aim through the Asteroid.
I am guessing that …tilt a low corner of arrrow end, shoot… means to shoot after hitting the arrow, and thus pushing the lower edge of the arrow out of the way of the laser shots – am I right?

OK, Slightly different again – aim at the bottom most point of the arrow, just before contact shoot at the bottom middle triangle.

Upped me to 62k

OK – that method provides consistent 61-62k scores and the odd 63k (and 64k *big-grin*)

Back in 1st for now.

Interesting observation (maybe).

The highest scores seem to fall when a laser blast ricochets around and takes out the bird in the top-left corner before the asteroid hits the the top-left corner. This means the asteroid hits with greater force and stands more chance of breaking the metal blocks.

Many thanks @cmdrbond! I found the same thing with the ricochet blasts…my best scores had a series of vertical ricochets prios to taking out the top left bird.

Interesting observation, I hadnt noticed it before you mentioned it but yes, if the top left gets killed with the laser it does give you 1,5-2k more!

I see 64.2 so you catch the thing. After adjusting I can produce 61-62 many times in short time. Yes I start to shoot afetr tilt an arrow low end corner.

The strategy submitted by cmdrbond is the best I have seen for any game on this site. It’s effective and repeatable. I tried it six times and scored above 61,000 on each try. BRAVO!

I don’t know quite how to go about this … So here goes. I don’t mind losing. My #1 scores fall all the time!but I’m a little dubious about wicket182’s new score that is more than 10,000 points above the now #2, which was already a good bit above the current #3. I tend to think that score input is an accident. There’s just not enough debris on the level unless something is a bug (somewhat likely) or a new strategy has been devised (also somewhat likely, although less so since the ABN community had probably flung at this level tens of thousands of times trying different things).

So I’m just politely asking if that score input by wicket182 was an accident – that is all. I know he is the current #1 overall so I believe in my heart he is trustworthy. Thanks…

Used last chance strategy and did not detonate TNT until after all was cleared. Detonating the TNT early pushes stuff off the screen. 92,100

For those not pursuing LCS, the Imperial Officer works nicely here. I flung him below the birds and then fired some shots into the birds and then a bunch to bounce off the reflective blocks behind the tnt to blow it up. With all the blasts bouncing around gaining points, it does better than any other shooter I’ve tried. I got an amusing 65k even.
