As you leave Naboo, you are forced to make a choice: Will the Birds be with you, or will you join the Pork side? If you chose to walk in the light, you arrive at this level. If you chose the dark, this level will unlock when you obtain 20 stars from the Pork Side of Escape to Tatooine.
One non-character swap strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars II Escape to Tatooine level B2-1 is to fling Jar Jar Binks toward the main tower. Aim his tongue toward the horizontal wooden plank at the bottom of the tower to bring it crashing down. The score in the video below is 41,150.
You can also aim JJB’s tongue on the horizontal stone block, you might get more points.
Mace Windu, launch boomerang at high angle before passing under the rock, and got a decent score with him on this level.
I fing another interesting point to tap. Conception as higher but tap at small square gray block for 44-45+. Interesting so taking a tower down is not enough. Destruction of elements counts much more.
I latched on to the vertical stone block on the bottom left of the tower. Swinging round the structure causes it to collapse, but I high score is only attained if the entire structure falls to the right. You need to break as much as possible,
I agree with @CmdrBond. You then need a lot of luck to get the entire structure to fall off the platform.

You can also hit chain underneath and do same.
The one that got stone blocking at a position as far as possible thought that more pieces fell.
This worked well for me too ;-) I flung JJB in a very high arch and when he is about level with the vertical cement plank, I tapped for his tongue to latch on. He will fly up and around causing the tower to completely shift to the right before he then yanks out the cement slab. I seemed to score higher when the whole tower fell straight down accumulating points as the pieces crush upon each other rather then having it fall more towards the right and hit the rocks.
I also used this strategy @cmdrbond. Worked great but did provide challenge to get the debris fall and destruction.
When JJB became attached he did two complete loops around the structure. On one of the loops he pulled the stone block to the right then to the left and cleared the floating rock platform. Everything fell to the right except for the stone attached to his tongue. There was nothing remaining on the floating platform which produced 46,930.
Padme Amidala pushed everything to the right for a score of 45,530.

Would you mind posting on how you obtained this great score? It is almost 8k above the next score and that is outstanding. Just curious on the technique and character used.
I tried a number of other bird characters and most did not work well for a decent score.

You can also spit Jar Jar’s tongue at the bottom of the rock the tower sits on. If you get the right length you get a pretty good score.
For my score no p/u for some reason tongue and structure stayed intact for about 1 3/4 smashing just about everything apart have try to repeat the move but we know that’s the just game.
I stuck my tongue to just bellow the top that large white block at the bottom of the tower and just went for a thrilling ride.
After the latest update that allowed use of pork side characters on the bird levels, I recommend using Boba Fett on levels B2-1 to B2-4. On his level (B2-1) you need both rockets to hit the structure on the rock for a good score (the lower rocked should hit it as low as possible).
Used your strategy with Boba Fett to improve 1.5k… thank you! Great strategy.
Used a new pork side bird (pig actually). the one with the light green tinted pig with twirling light sabers. Throw the pig, activate so that he shoots up into the middle of the tower. 47-48k consistently.
Found the character guide. Used the inquisitor.
30 points under top score with a fair number of attempts
I used Imperial Officer. I started firing at top of structure and worked down.
However, for my new score of 48,440, I used the Inquisitor.
Well, how delighted am I! Finally achieved top score in a AB2 level, wonders will never cease.
