One strategy for Utopia level 4-7 to send the first Blue bird over the northern tower and into the big red bumper on the far side of the planet. Split late and, with a bit of luck, you can detonate a couple of the TNT scattered around the planet. If any structures still remain, use another Blue bird to blast its TNT as well.

Aim the blue bird on the middle spike of the bumper and split late. Each bird will go to one TNT. One birder with this strat. Made 111430
I got mine with one bird by going under or “South” and spliting a few seconds after entering the gravitational field. Each bird of the split ignited a tnt ;-)
This way worked for me after trying every other way (thank you again @lesleyg). Went south into gravity field at about 5 o’clock, split about 1 second in. One blue clips top of bottom tower then rebounds back off the round bumper into TNT, 2nd blue rebounds into middle TNT, 3rd blue circles around to hit top TNT on its 2nd pass. My score isn’t as impressive as some of the others but it got me above average after only a few tries.
@Angry Advisor, thanks a lot. You are one of the colest person on the Nest and for a long time my favoritr and the most useful advisor. Your advice helped me to improve my score for 17k on this level (and improve my scores on bunch other levels in all games and episodes).
Wow! Thanks @cosmo2503!!! That’s great ;-) I’m so glad I have helped you! Thanks a bunch for your kind words ;-) Now..I guess I need to come back to this level and improve my score since it worked so well for you, lol..Nice Job!!!
After coming back & trying this over & over in the way of the video, once I had 3 stars on the rest of this level, I tried this method, and it took about 5 tries until I got it, at about 116k. The middle & lower TNTs detonated right off the bounce, but the higher one waited until the last bird had orbited a few times, but then it came to rest in the right spot!
110170/1
thx to @lesleyg for the tip
here my video:
https://youtu.be/dAFrZo7Ii2I
One bird for 118680. Go south and clear bottom tower with as little clearance as possible. Split as late as possible before hitting “bumper.” Is that what we’re calling it?
Thanks a bunch! I got 117,030 with your method- way more than what I was expecting.
@mvnla2 I’ve got my best score with the south method !
@mvnla2, your suggestion was great and allowed me to raise my score by 3k+, with this being my second time around this level, I thought I was going to be stuck at 115K for the rest of my life. I can’t for the life of me remember how I cleared this level 6 months ago, so I tried the video way and several other strats posted here, but yours yields higher scores and consistent results, so thank you very much and keep up the good work. Now to see if I can raise it just a tad more.
@mvnla2 woohoo ! Thank you !! This was the easiest and most repeatable strat i kept coming back to after trying it and getting 117k then trying others. Came back to this very consistent , one thing to add is don’t wait till last minute to split , split about one bird width from the bumper.
Woo hoo @mvnla2 and @lesleyg, 3flings and went from 106 to 116 on today’s challenge. @mg516 did you try this? On my droid I set the alignment dots fully zoomed in to be just into the lighter wave that has the dark spot in the middle. I activated right about 3:00 position and hit the east and south TNT, debris started the north tower leaning, the TNT blew and now I’m in the improved list
I had 100520 for 3 stars.
This game is making me hungry! Anyone else have a sudden urge for sweets?
This level is really hard to get a one-bird high score! Wow. North and South just aren’t working for me. My little bluebird just doesn’t split right. I can get the middle or the middle and of the large structures, but not all three areas. The video is great! Thanks @amslimfordy for your diligence! I’ll keep on flinging until I can get it. My thumb is getting stiff now though – need the Ice Bird to sit on my thumb for a while. ;-)
Hey! This isn’t that kind of website!! ;-)
Seriously – I know how you feel, but keep at it. You’ll randomly hit it just right and all three TNTs will go off and you’ll get a one birder.
The most frustrating thing about this level is that the popcorn acts as a cushion and keeps the structures from falling when they would otherwise.
hahahaha. Hey @playbird! I meant for Ice Bird to take down the swelling of my thumb. We took a road trip today and I played this level over and over and over again still trying to get a higher score. I finally did get the one bird shot but my current score is only 112,760. I won’t give up by gosh. The popcorn is great help in other levels but you are right about this one – if the kernels pop over to the left or right they tend to hold up the north and south structures. Oh well. They act like ‘airbags’ in favor of the piggies in this level.
oops…I meant @playdbird. Left the ‘d’ out of your nick the first time. Thanks for the encouragement!
I’m happy to encourage @gypsybird. I’m trying to squeeze a few more thousand out of this level but having no luck :-(
Stuck on 104770.
Have tried over and under. So this is a whinge AB Whinge god take note and please line up the lucky shot very soon.
I love the whinge factor.
5 more flings after the above whinge and 116670 yippee.
Agreed. Still stuck at 104k. These 10 levels are proving to be a pain for getting to the average score.
Howdy @iammighty! Just got 116k after trying mvnla’s strat above, good luck! :)
Thanks @kartflyer but I didn’t understand this part “as little clearance as possible.” Do you have to destruct some of the bottom tower?
It means to barely pass over the bottom towers top. But I guess you got that already ;)
Strategy for space eagle: use 2 cans. First at the bottom part of the planet, triggering the portal immediately at contact. Second at the top part, again triggering the portal immediately at contact. Very easy feather
.
I had just used this same strategy before seing your post.
thanks @tnatiuk17piano! That strategy worked for me on the space eagles first try!
Go north, as close to the building as possible, split when passing by, 1 into bumper that goes into north tower, 2 flying around the planet. 1 went for center tnt, the other went into south tower.
I’ve been trying that too, @z0z0, but still no luck with higher than the 112+k that I have as of this message. I’ve been working on splitting early and late or even midway towards the red jello planet (that’s what I see it as). I get different initial results but so far not a total destruction with a higher score. It is a matter of time with AB. I have found that playing over and over again eventually gets the mark – just a matter of ‘when’. :-))
So funny…right after I wrote back the first time, I tried the suggestion you mentioned again and POOF! I went UP close to 3000 more points! Back to it again! Yay!
Glad to see the improvement @gypsybird !
The luck factor is (too?) big on levels like these indeed.
Thanks @z0z0. I’m still trying to get higher but seem to be stuck again. I don’t need the best score but like to be close to the top anyway. High score right now is over 123k. Need a lot of luck for high scores on some of the levels no matter how good one is at flinging the birds.
i took 3 tries with your strategy. thanks!
I agree on luck for sure. Persistence on getting the aim and fling right are necessary, but in this game, luck is a major factor in higher scores.
In Utopia level luck is a major factor for most of level, and I have no luck…
LOL, @nicolas1er. As I write this, you are currently ranked 13th on the leaderboard. It looks to me like you have a great deal of luck! Way to go!
Luck is coming after billion tries ;)
Of all my scores in Utopia, this is the one that is most in need of improvement. When I came back to it today, and checked the comments, I was really surprised that no one has added anything since before the release on Android.
I’ve tried everything here with varying degrees of success, and I’ve experimented with it for hours. Anyone have anything new to add?
I’ve tried to squeeze a few more points out of this too @doctonynyc. No luck. I’ve tried north and south, splitting early and splitting late. I have not been able to improve on my score.
I know that the two times I set highs (the previous and then the one I have now) they were one birders, going north, splitting late, and each Blue Bird going directly into the TNT in the towers and center, without activating the popcorn (which acts as a cushion).
The south shows the same potential – I think the towers are mirror images of each other, so I don’t know that one direction is better than the other.
I think it’s all a matter of when you split the bird in relation to the bumper.
Yes, @playdbird, I think there is no doubt that the higher scores need to be one birders. I wish I could figure out a consistent approach, but it’s tough to be consistent when the popcorn is so random.
I’ll just keep at it. Eventually the planets will lime up and I’ll get a better score.
Doctony.
Your score is not bad for this level above average any way. Though one of the few frames where I am slightly ahead of you.
Note slims video has a higher score than both of us. I invoked the whinge factor and finally got my present score.
Keep at it.
Yeah, @georgertx, I know it’s not a bad score. It is the only score in Utopia, though where not in the top 100. Silly little personal goal, that’s all.
Go South! :) Let me clarify on previous posts. I found the south strat to be much more consistent than going north. Still, it only works for me about 10% of the time, much better percentage for me than going north.
Aim bird down toward SE at about 45 degrees give or take. (That’s 315 degrees, if you know trigonometry). Split at about the 7:00 (no later than 6:00) position within the SW quadrant of gravity field so that the first split-bird barely hits the ice triangle on top of the SE tower. If split properly, the first split-bird will continue through the ice triangle, hit the bumper, and ricochet back to take out the SE tower. In the meantime, the second split-bird will ricochet off the bumper taking out the middle TNT while the third split-bird will miss the bumper altogether and take out the north tower.
It only works about 10% of the time, but, for me, that’s a much better percentage than going north. After 2-1/2 hours perfecting this strat, I’m happy with 118,700 for now but will come back later and try to improve. Gotta go BBQ some steaks for the 4th of July just now. Happy 4th to everyone!
This isn’t really an “alternate” strategy, but it is a bit more specific than what has been described above. One of the tricky things about this level, at least for me, was figuring out where to aim (where to split is also important, but less so). I zoomed all the way in for this, which I usually avoid because, well, I’m older and it’s hard on my eyes to watch everything when it’s tiny.
The advantage of zooming in, for those who don’t know, is that the background doesn’t move. I used the horizontal streaks of red and magenta to line up my shot and it worked pretty consistently. (Do keep in mind, however, that the background doesn’t move, but those pretzels do–block them out.) The easiest way to describe the entry point I used is to post a picture–the link is below.
I experimented quite a bit with where to split. Generally, I found if I split anywhere from 1/4-3/4 of the distance to the first tower, the birds went generally where I wanted them. If I split too early, one of them shot out into space. If splitting too late, one of the birds missed the center. After splitting, the bottom bird went through the glass triangle on the first structure, two of the birds hit the bumper (one goes backwards into the bottom structure the other goes to the middle section). The third bird makes a full circle around the planet and, if you are very lucky, it will bring down the last (top) tower. The problem is that the popcorn frequently gets in the way. If this happens, keep trying–the popcorn is the random variable here, and it doesn’t always do the same thing.
I would still like to improve my score a bit, but I did this over and over and over to improve from just over 115K to 117,820. It just took patience.
I hope that the picture helps make this clearer for some people! This wasn’t my highest score, but it’s the same approach. I hurried to get the screenshot before it totaled the score and blocked the planet (obviously, it would have been a 114,690).

Cheers!
I’m still a bit of newbie when it comes to posting pictures. and I posted the link to my imageshack page–although this is the picture you will see).
It’s a bit easier to see here: http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/7237/utopia47.png
Sorry for the multiple posts!
The screenshots look great, thanks for sharing ;)
@doctonynyc – just fyi – you can now post images like this to your album here on the ABN site. LMK if you need more info on that.
Thank you thank you thank you for the screenshots. :-) I had a decent score before, but improved it drastically.
Oh, thanks, @playdbird. I didn’t know that. If I can’t figure it out, I will let you know.
@herby @nicolas1er @imMighty @laurafj @z0z0 Any details/ hint on how to get a high score (other than trying the same thing over and over again)> There seems not to be much spread between score, but details and hints would help. Thanks..
@mvnla2 the higher 119k score was done withe the north tactic I described earlier on. I liked the spread on birds so I tried it some tens of times. Multiple 118k’s, once for 119k.
Hello, sorry but nothing else than luck, I have used the south method.
Other than getting all of the TNT with the first bird, I can’t add anything else. Sorry!
Used the ‘south’ method but throttled back (i.e. relax the pull back slightly on the sling). This should take blue bird between the 2 points on the lower bumper. Split as late as possible. Luck was certainly a factor.
You can also shoot the blue bird around the south tower and split it just before it hit the bouncy “thing” just like in the video.
A different take on this difficult level:
Aim straight up and find an aiming point (using the stars) that you can repeat. You have the correct aiming point if the blue bird, un-split, bounces back into the north tower TNT. Then it’s a matter of funding the correct timing for the split. It’s very late – almost touching the red ball, but slightly before. I touched the screen for the split just as the bird came even with the top triangle on the red ball. The birds fly into all 3 TNTs. As with other approaches, there is luck involved, but this appears to be repeatable. I guess you need to split just on the correct pixel!
This is what worked for me. Thanks!
127,080 on 1 bird using Angry’s method :)
Now I know why I dislike space so much
So many stratgies to try on this one. I went the southern route, using the background colours for guidance. Zoomed out on ipad, I aimed so the tracking line goes into the gravity field around the 8 o’clock position, into the lighter purple (magenta?) background, and dips down just slightly into the darker purple underneath. I then split the birds about 3/4 of the way to the bottom tower, so that one of the blues clips the glass at the top of the tower. This one then bounces off the bumper back into the base of the lower tower. Another of the blues rebounds into the middle TNT while the 3rd goes somewhere near the base of the top tower. The difficulty is in getting the top tower to fall, the damage varies & that darn popcorn keeps getting in the way. It’s by no means a high percentage shot, but I found it the most straightforward to replicate.
ty @karen68, don’t seem able to get a handle on the space series obviously using the wrong side of my brain lol
What follows is some sort of alternate strat, whichever favourite aiming and splitting point you may have. As a matter of fact, you are never garanteed to ignite both TNT’s at once. A good combo is when you ignite two on a regular basis. Everybody probably agrees on that. Now, for the “strat”:
It is fairly easy to evaluate whether a two TNT ignition represent a good intermediate score or not. For example, 64k is quite good with top and middle TNT’s ignited. But usually, in such a configuration, some kernels have popped around remaining TNT, and the structure is therefore unstable. I recommend that you wait one minute before resetting when the intermediate score is promising. It is the way I got 123k.
Followed @comex666 ‘s excellent video (and congrats on improving that in your latest video on your YouTube channel) RNG level. Rinse repeat and maybe you’ll get a highish score. No fun really
