I aimed directly at the exploding egg without splitting blue. This allowed for more inter-ice explosions and a higher score than in the video.

I got my highest score by aiming directly at the infoeggsteroid like @abeggertoo but splitting immediately upon release. It’s probably not any better a strategy, but I thought I’d mention it.

Also, has anyone seen the white pigsteroid near the top of the screen break? If so, then what was it worth? I haven’t been able to break it yet.

@philsey immediately on release off the sling? or immediately on release of the infoeggthjngie? like right before hitting the stupid thing? I’ve tried both, i give up:(either way there is one stubborn pig in the top right which refuses to give up, *sigh* This episode is killing me

I’ve seen it break @philsey. Nothing to get excited about. It’s only worth 300-400 points. Shoot Laser bird at him after the other birds have let you down on the score. Then watch the scoreboard if you need a more exact figure. You’ll be disappointed.

I hear ya need help Ma. Well here comes Pa to the rescue.

Zoom all the way out. Do ya see all dem purdy stripes on the planet Ma? The dark brown one kinda jumps out at ya, don’t it? Try aimin’ at the edge of the planet where da stripe ends.
Durn near furgot Ma. Split dem Blues just as you leave the planet. Then sit back in yer rocker and watch the fireworks.

Ummmm @kathy or @rat9 What the heck are you guys talking about? A little translation please? What dark brown line? The one that goes around the belly of the planet? because that one ends around 2 o’clock but Kathy said she split at 4 o’clock and that’s the edge of the rings. I’m very confused!

@jlz-666 Sorry about that. See the dark lines on the outer rings? Well the furthest one is the darkest and ends abruptly, if you aim blue straight of the sling you’ll be in the right vicinity. Play with it up or down as needed, and split as soon as you leave the sling. Hope this helps good luck:)

No worries @kathy! I can understand your Hoodoovoodoo phone language but not the above ;) Rat does say aim for edge of planet and split when leaving planet so I thought you meant at the ring edge not the slingshot. I’ll give it some more tries. Just worked my way through solar system on vacation and not looking to good right now. Need all the help I can get!

Basically same approach – zoom out full, aim between 3:30 and 4 o’clock position, split just as clearing planet (so that lowest of three splits contacts and activates the egg), and then hope for lots of contact. OK so when I first saw this level after *finally* getting a decent score on 10-8 I admit that my initial reaction was >>censored<<….. Turns out this is actually a fairly fun level. It just goes to show… I'm not sure what but it goes to show. :)

At least with these back to back levels, the effort to get the general direction right is minimal. :-)

The strategy is more or less the one described by @rat9. The idea is to get the lowest Blue to hit the satellite without breaking the ice block in front of it and hope for the best.
