You can one bird this level with a bit of luck. Shoot red towards the main structure so that he passes just below the largest boulder, the impact should be enough to push the exploding wotsit onto the arm next to it and set off a chain reaction. Most of the time you will be left with a couple of pigs depending on which way the gas cylinder goes.

After several hundred flings (lots of free time today) used the one-bird strategy above as well and got score of 126,480. Seems like a couple thousand more was possible. That top-right large boulder exploded and sent its debris to get the bottom pig (luck).

does anyone know if there is a way to stop that info after you hit the thing, (a,wosit ?) it gets in the way of a downward shot? i couldn’t see to do the second shot of the video, so I’m very happy that newcybroon found a one birder:)

Having top scored (126k) the level last night this statement might not be expected:

I angry-birdin’-lutely HATE THIS LEVEL!!! I’ll never-ever touch it again! After @newcybroon discovered the-one-shot there is nothing to do except re-pe-peat-peat-peat. The results are worse than random!

I was going through motions to be in top20 on all levels and would have been perfectly happy with a 118k but for hundreds of shots I was getting mostly nothing, seldom 1 birder, very seldom 100k+, very very seldom 110k+ and never even my former 117k until out-of-the-blue for-no-reason-at-all after hitting the back-button routinely I suddenly noticed score showing a totally unexpected 90k+. Quickly I hit back-button again to keep it going and there it was boulder killing last pig slowly&painfully – top score by a wide margin. Why!?

Believe I was hitting the wooden triangle under the pig-buble. But remember, I can only promise utter frustration for anybody doing exactly the same! So by all means if you love to punish yourself… «ending with a very tired» haa haa

Great score @micromax. I was hitting the wooden triangle by one pixel. There’s barely a pixel to clear the boulder and still go above the wooden triangle. It makes a huge explosion when you do it but I never got a good score that way. So the short answer to @lesleyg‘s question is two pixels below the boulder.

Thanks @micromax and @rat9 ;-) Although as I mentioned on the first level…I’m having to play this update on my little iPhone 6 because my “old faithful” original iPad is at it’s max version of 5.1.1 , waaaayyyy ;-(
It’s gonna take some getting used to this little screen so no pixel perfection for me on this one, hahaha ;-)

P.S. @rat9 – I guess you won’t have to worry about me beating you up too badly on this Space game, tee hee ;-)

Thanks @Kathy, unfortunately the Solar System update lost my Everyplay capability and I use Az Screen Recorder only when have some reason to expect worthy material. Clearly had no expectations here :-[

Well That just ain’t right @micromax !! i hate that every time there’s an update it seems to take the good stuff away:(
I never was able to use Everplay on my tablet, but i could on my phone but i didn’t check to see if that’s gone.
ah well worded strats will have to suffice:/

Thanks @lesleyg, @rat9. Like I said, hundred exact same shots producing big explosions occasionally but scorewise nothing, then – bang – top score… and I could not even see what was happening high since playing zoomed in was the only way I could get enough precision.

I obtained my 125k score with the shot described by @newcybroon

For anyone who still has the initial release of this episode (version 2.2.0), there is also a 0-bird available… you can get the gas canister to spontaneously trigger about 30% of the time. I personally had a few 0-bird completions for disappointing scores but with enough perseverance 135k+ should be possible.

My way of maximizing spontaneous combustions of the canister was to play the level, toggle to Firefox (for Android) , load a new webpage (any old page), then toggle back to the game and pause/restart the level.

So @Rat9, @Sglouk, and other leader board fanatics, there’s an idea for a rainy day. Um, if you made a backup of the 2.2.0 version or just happen to know somebody who did.

Maybe I would have spent less time on this level waiting for a 0-birder, but I had no backup of this version. So I relied on brute force rince and repeat 1-birder described above. After hours and hours, I finally got close to @micromax‘s top score with 126k. I decided to give another 30 minutes before making my farewell to this level… and got almost 130k. Actually, I thought for a few seconds that I would get much more when one of those fiery things drifted straight on big rock cluster on the left, but it did was prevented to collide with it by something (a round rock, maybe), bounced on this something to go further down and destroy another big debris. This means that more than 130k is available here, but it may necessitate a whole rainy week!

@sglouk And yet another high score – congrats! There once was a time when I would have been eager to beat your score – or at least get closer to it – but these days I am blissfully above that. I’m crazy zenny. If you want to ruin my tranquility, you’ll have to post something bigger… like a repeatable 1-bird strategy for level 10-10 ;-)

If you want the 2.2.0 release, I have the Android version. There may be more levels where the old version gives you an advantage. The same offer also goes to @Rat9 and my other friends (who already have the paid-for Android version).

@Sglouk CongRATulations once again on your mastery of Space. Another awesome score! A year ago neither @Burpie or myself would have let these scores go uncontested. Now we both just calmly watch. Well @Burpie‘s calm anyway. he he Unlike @Burpie and his new found tranquility, I’m not competing strictly due to the elevated pain it causes. Btw, thanks for the old software offer but I’ve never used anything but my big fat thumb and whatever software was current on my one and only iPad.

@rat9 Yeah, about that level 10-10 comment I made… I knew that was a horrible idea.

Level 10-10 gives you serious bragging rights. You can now walk up to anybody in the world and say “I have the high score on Uranus.”

I suppose I could be temped back for that.

For you BlueStackers using the Tap Spot feature x 26.81 y 48.8 will from time to time get you around 120k. The bottom pig needs to blow more or less immediately. The very top exploding rock also needs to blow. Thanks to @comex666 for the excellent video.

Use a sardine can in place of the first bird. The shot with the highest chance of success seems to be aiming at the exposed tip of the southwestern triangular wood block, activating upon impact. Only two pigs won’t be popped by the eagle himself: the lowest one (which gets hit by the pickaxe that was between them and the eagle activation point) and the highest one (which commonly is popped by something; if that does not happen, then use the purple bird intelligently, to clear the remaining lava asteroid, then the pig and some blocks).
