Like the video but just outside the gravity field, split when closest to the gravity field. It should ignite both engines and I think the rest is just luck from there.

Again an utterly simple strat, just shoot at the top of the first booster and watch ;^D

No split, just repeat until your aim is true & several pieces of luck come together. That was the route to current top 106k.

So sooorrryyy @kathy, my strats don´t come with any quarantee, implied or otherwise O:-)

However, you appear to have already realized this, since you are addressing the correct authority in your plea. The only thing, I can say, that may help a bit, is that, if you don´t get the doublebooster to go into the construction alike my video, then you should try to vary your aiming very slightly until you do. After that it´s all upto ABG.

Me thinks, used to have 101k until after at least 99 shots with this exact shot (and several hundred trying to find it) brought the result.

@micromax – I know I’m late to the party but I just recently traded in my “Old Faithful” iPad First Generation…sigh ;( –
and upgraded to an Air so that I can play these levels and just wanted to give you a heartfelt…THANK YOU!!! Thank You for your videos and posts!!! I haven’t gotten the lucky shot yet but am hopeful,thanks to you, that I am on the right track ;-)

***NOTE TO ALL CHALLENGE PLAYERS***

The requirements to provide proof for an Underdog has been slightly changed.

Along with your comments in the walkthrough page of the strategy used…
Now, it is a requirement to provide a screenshot of the Tally Score Page that appears when the level ends, instead of just a picture of the score showing in the level.

Of course, if you want to provide the screenshot of the level before it times out (to demonstrate remaining debris or trajectory), that’s acceptable also.

This change is part of a continuing effort to keep the leaderboards “clean” and make the Nest enjoyable for everyone!

2 questions:
Does a later shot with the score showing as a highscore suffice?
If a video shows the score, is a separate screenshot required?

Clean/clear and explicit rules will benefit everyone. @admins could we have something similar for (at least stabilized) top scores?

Hello @micromax, thank you for your questions. I will try my best to answer them.
In regards to your first question, I’m assuming you mean the screenshot that shows the score when the level is re-opened after the initial highscore was obtained. This used to be the requirement previously, but unfortunately it’s been known in other AB games that if a player used PUs to get the high score, the PU icon (lightning bolt) was missing next to the score after re-opening the level.

I hope that made sense. It’s hard to describe in words exactly what I’m trying to say. But, just in case, here are a couple of pictures to demonstrate:

For your second question, it is definitely acceptable to show the video on how you achieved your high score! It would show the tally screen at the end, and the best part is it demonstrates the strategy you used.

I have absolutely no idea of what exactly happened…

My investigations led me to think that it was better to hit the structure “elbow” than drift below it and push antenna as in @micromax‘s vid. Apart from this, I have nothing to add to previous comments. I slowly increased my mark from 103k to 106k, and then I got this:

Everything proceeds normally, till, whereas I am close to 80k, the tank and some debris tied with it falls down on planet where some other debris lie. There is nothing there that I expected to give more than 6k according to my own experience, but tank crushing of everything ended in an unexpected +9k. Top score, 20th puppy for me, and, hence, silver underdog badge. I would call this a pleasant day!

Congrats @sglouk on the great score and your 20th Puppy for the Silver Badge! I too tried for my number 20 but I’m having no luck on this one…I think I improved a whole 100K points or so, haha ;-)
