Our strategy is quite simple for Red Planet level 5-4. Launch the bomb bird into the pile of blocks, located on the lower left planet. The explosion, with the help of the geysers, should send debris flying towards the bubble pigs, destroying each of them. If required, toss the next bird into the top pile.

3* first 6 so far. Tip for 5.4-one of “fire & hope” levels, is to fire one bomb bird at the top pile of rocks and then immediately fire another at the bottom pile-each rock disturbed is worth 300 points and combined with a clearance 3* is readily achievable-124620 for me
5-4: Should have added 120,000=3*
I found using a second bird (and sometimes even a third bird) aimed into the piles of boulders gave some extra points, as the value of one of the piles is around 17k, more than the 10k you’d get for the spare bird. Also means that even if you don’t get the 1 bird clear, you can still earn three stars using all the birds.
Ty @Laurence ..nice to see you..I tried one birding ..very low score..the quicker you fire the more pts..gotta hit the rock piles low..so as not to blow up the boulders and rocks before they fly..I hit just before ..pile;) when ya gonna stop in bp..we miss you:)
Steady 120k+ Strategy: I found that you get steadier higher scores aiming for the upper pile closest to you, straight to the firs little rock. As soon as you hit it, detonate. This should take care of almost all of both upper piles. Quickly after, throw next BB to the lower pile to the little pair of wooden balls and same thing, it hits, you explode. This is to get with 2 birds (hopefully) all rocks making lots of damage not only to the pigs but also between them as they fly around. At this point I’m at 126410 but I will come back for more because there was still damage being done but it stoped because no more pigs remained and it ended.
Used the same strategy, most of the rocks were destroyed.
Thank You @pelao23 for posting your strategy. Used basically the same technique of starting with the top left pile of stone and wood with the key being the quick aim and launch of the second bomb bird.
Aimed the second bomb bird between the lower little and big wood balls.
Who else is reminded of Bonus Space Egg levels when playing this level?
But while there is skill to this level, I think it’s mainly based on luck. I have better scores when aiming for the top left pile and then the bottom pile on your second shot. Followed @pelao23 ‘s strategy and make sure to quickly follow with the second bird’s shot- don’t wait until the debris from the first shot is over. Hope that helps! :)
Yep..This definately reminded me of the Bonus Egg levels ;-) Especially since it seems like depending on where the bb’s land…depends on which direction the debris and rocks fly. I got 131020 with the same strat.
Hmm, eleven pigs with one bird and I only get one star? Something wrong there.
This is fun. I usually have better scores on iPad and this level is rare exeption I have 120k submitted here on the leaderbroad on iPad and I have 127790 on android smartphone.
This level is obviously pure luck rather then any strategy.
however as I am improving my scores in RP I am going to improve this one.
Yesterday I made huge improvement there (after smaller ones). I move up +7.020 / #16 (from 125.950 / #377). I made this on the run, wating for my son at swimming pool.
1st. Max screen. Aiming low planet; directly inside thin space between wooden balls (under this big one). This push strongly stones and clear lower half of pigs or almost all of them.
2nd shoot was on a harry and little blind :). Top planet stack, which was all cleared. Stones hits top planed stones pile. Next stones roll to geyser and make destructive flight.
I made 129 K too, next improve at 133K. That’s all.
Thanks for the aiming point on the bottom pile @bird-tester. I found if you reverse the shots (as per @pelao23 above) you can decide to go for the bottom pile only when you get enough secondary movement from the top pile – otherwise reset and start again.
@theartist Congratulations on the trophy ? ! Do you remember which strat you used? or any tips to help fellow flingers who are venturing into the great frontier? ? Thanks ?
Kathy – i remember that I used the same strategy as pelao23 and just got lucky I guess!
Top score for now:

I exchanged shot order with respect to video. Both shot are highly sensitive to aiming points, but even more importantly, second shot must be made very quickly after first shot activation. For first shot, it is simpler to let OB self activate, as it gives a few more seconds to begin to aim for 2nd one (or to move mouse poiter toward a correct place). Scores above 130k are reasonably achievable once you have the correct aiming points, the hard part being quick shooting of second bird.
For 1st shot, I aim almost at the middle of small coal above (from planet point of view) of below (from screen point of view) closest and largest wooden ball. For 2nd shot, I aim very slightly below center of large wooden ball of lower planet, and activate on impact. In both case, this should sweep all coal/wooden balls away. 2nd shot must be done quickly in order to clean rightmost pigs, and to increase the odds that debris still moving after first shot collide with those from 2nd shot.

The
The chances of getting a 🐶are about the same as having a house built on Venus. I know what it should say! There is actually no correct strat as it’s all completely random. I got my best score by launching the first into the pile at the bottom and then launching the second into the pile at the top. No sleight of hand or rapid fire required. All you need is luck. Mine’s run out. Anyone who gets a puppy thoroughly deserves it. A RNG of the first order
