Our strategy for Red Planet level 5-29 is to launch Orange into the northern hemisphere. The steam geyser should send the bird towards the tnt box. The explosion should send debris flying and destroy most of the floating pigs. Use Blue Bird to finish off the remaining pigs.

New Event: Moonracer – Time To Send The Wreckers In!
Exactly as the walkthough says. You’ll want both of the stone things to fall for points, and then it’s all a matter of how much is destroyed.
Same experience here. Just like video. Played what seemed like hundreds of times today with countless scores in the 150k+ range. Then one time everything just broke and bumped right.
1 bird: Launch Bubbles (Orange) into where the 2 gravitational spheres intersect, so he should end up on the lower of the 2 hanging chains. He will “roll” (pushed by the volcano) across the chain and land into the large planet, inflating, sending ice balls across the level, hopefully, destroying the TNT so it launches a stone ball at the pig in the bubble next to the northwestern planet
Dropped 2 stones with 3 birds (wrong technique or less luck?)
Managed a 139,820
Thanks!
Score 172,330
Did it in one bird. Aimed at the bottom planet with full speed and bird enters almost where the gravitational fields of the two planets intersect. The bird goes up and all the way to the back (through the two strings of rock/ice) and balloons in the cluster of ice pieces at the back. Destroys everything but score is around 150 most of the time. Haven’t repeated this score and rarely come close.
Here for the Challenge & got a 1-birder for 167590 aiming this way…with the dotted line at the intersection of both gravitational fields, but following the larger of the curves. Before expanding, the left rope was cut & as the bird came back towards right rope, it expanded on its own & cut this rope. My previous score was 158250 & I watched in amazement as the points added up.
lol, i read your shot and just fired without really aiming…but i saw it was headed straight toward that spot so i let it go… i think something way different happened…. it happened fast so sketchy details but orange ball expanded in the blue stuff, selt it flyingeverywhere includidng TNT which blew up and sent something that severed the RIGHT rope…. i only got 130000 or so, but it was fun to watch…also it wasn’t a 1 birder
@justpast40 nice score! I’m finding this method to be very repeatable for scores in the 160’sK. :)
@justpast40, thanks for the tips:-). I am up 2k so far and once I get the hang of it, I think there are more re points waiting for me.
You’re welcome @wanda & @sunshine. I definitely agree there are more points out there. I’m pretty sure my “starting” score of 158250 was achieved basically the same way, but not 100% certain…….
One of these days I’d love to so improve my score that I pick up an Underdog Badge….then again, don’t we all?
@justpast40 fingers crossed for you! I might fling better this way :-). You will get the Underdog badge one of these days.
I got a one birdie for 154910 by aiming at the bottom like Casey&Amy describe. I came here to post and saw the walkthrough so I gave it a try. I imroved several times so far. I know higher scores are reachabe but I think I’ll move on for now and be happy with my 160800. Thanks @sal9 ;-)
Hi CaseyandAmy…nice score but not at all sure from your description how you achieved it ! 158700 one birder through the middle , knocks one of the chains ( lower) down and the bird expands in amongst the balls and pigs sending debris up exploding the TNT and if lucky bringing down the other chain
That worked for me, almost the same score too: 158710
funny, i read this after my post above but it sounds like what happened when i tried the advice….
Variations about film method are the best. Now I know why adverage is so high. My previos score was over 140K, now over 160K. One of 4 levels which helped me to pass Score Addict.
My experience is the same as Krispee’s.
159300.
Gives three stars w one bird on most shots.
I got this strat on my own but as usual several players have come across similar ideas. This will help narrow and refine a bit. You can play this zoomed all the way in or all the way out but I find the target line nearly impossible to see zoomed out. So I use the zoo to my advantage. Zoom in till the right side of the intersect is just at the right side of the screen. In the center should be three prominant stars. Two close together and one set apart from those two and more toward the right side of the intersect.
One bird. You want to aim so that the tip of the targeting line is pointing right at the right side apex. From there you can make small adjustments to strike where you want. The goal is to have the OB hit the wooden ball on the lower planet right where it is bisected by the gravity field. This will beak the chain and send it down below. * do not manually inflate the OB* ! It will travel down with the chain landing in the upper, or left side depending on how you hold the device, pile of glass/ice balls. Splosion will shoot the pile back out and ignite the TNT. As always a matter of luck to get the right position to get the other chain. The best results are when there is a slight delay of the TNT ignition so that the closest stone ball in the tnt stack has a clear path to the geyser. I have one bird clears 90 percent of the time. The flight of the OB and subsequent damage is best if the chain does not bump the OB on the way down. @pourpete nice shootin’ !
I forgot to add that the purpose of the the three stars is to give a reference point to adjust against. In my preferred setup the target line points exactly at the third star to dial it in closer. Happy flinging!
@swellD , that’s brilliant. Thank you.
@swelld. I have followed your detailed explanation and continue to get 1 bird kills left and right, but I have been unable to get a higher score than the 160570 I got on the first try of your method. Thank you.
@swelld Thank you for posting your great description of your strategy. Helped me improve my score by almost 10k !!!!!
After trying this for an hour, I realized there are two intersects, and the closest one to me is apparently not the right one. I read the starts as you go there, and somehow clip BOTH lines. Ah well.
@swelld ty for the detailed strat ;) this is a tricky one for sure i finally got a halfway decent score ty:)
Thanks for sharing your strategy.
