@kathy – Sorry for the delay in replying. It has been a while, but as I remember I shot the Lazer Bird southwest and then redirected it northwest into the two pigs in the structures on the right side. Concrete blocks should fall cutting two of the tethers above the rope. Was lucky enough to also get the shell for 3000 points. Blue Bird to top structure with glass, good damage to the right. 3 bonus birds for 30K. Obviously, as always, luck plays a big part. Good luck with your flinging.

I do remember this level quite well and spent lots of time on it waiting for the strategy to work. I had no idea until now I had the second highest score.

First shot is similar to video, but there is a way to get all three boulders to crash into the planet. Direct Lazer Bird behind the northern boulder above the slingshot and direct it into the smaller boulder. Both will easily crash down into the planet. You just have to find the right angle with Lazer Bird to where he will ricochet off the north boulder and into the south boulder with enough momentum to make the south boulder crash into the planet also. Ideally this will take out everything except the two western-most towers and use blue bird to clean up.

Two challenges with this strategy are that the first shot will often burst the bubbles around the two unprotected pigs floating on the surface and send them into the depths of the water and impossible to kill. Second challenge is getting blue bird to clear the two left towers.

I wouldn’t dare try to repeat this strategy. I hope you can give it a shot and get the top score… : )

I noticed sometime back that Lazer Bird’s force diminishes with distance. So I fired him off to the northeast, waited three seconds, and then brought him back to push the meteor into the planet. Too little time, and it explodes instead; too much and there isn’t enough force to get it to the planet. I think that I got my best scores (including the current high) by sending it directly in hitting the small island at about 2 o’clock. The results vary all over the place, as they do in many games, but if all goes well, you only need two or sometimes on more bird to finish off the pigs. I think that a one-birder is possible–I came close a couple of times. I’ve posted screenshots in my album showing the destruction and final score.

I was pretty sure that a one-birder was attainable, and if so, I wanted to be the first to do it. A couple of hours and many hundreds of attempts later, I did. However, I didn’t think that such a high score was possible and wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t see it myself. I’ve posted #2 versions of the destruction and final score screenshots in my album.

Hey @snoid, your discovery is up there with the greatest tips I’ve ever seen in the Nest. I have just improved my 3 star score by almost 30k, in only 10 minutes or so. And that was a 3 birder, getting me current 3rd place on the leaderboard for this level.

Thanks ever so much for your posting. I’m going to keep at it!

@bikkit Thank you for the compliment. I was rather amazed that no one had ever noticed this phenomenon before, and wondering when someone was going to read my post and knock me out of first place. I’ve come up with a couple of winning new strategies in Mirror World, but this was by far the best. Now please have the good taste to stop at second place and I’ll even forgive you for supplanting me on M6-21! Just kidding; keep on flinging!

I have absolutey no idea of what happened. I went back to this level because I had a 25k+ gap with top score, and with my very first attempt, I got 110k after 1st shot, with one pig left. 2nd cleanup shot did not give much more, but enough to take the lead.

I recorded the last shot (couldn’t know my 1st attempt would be so great, sorry), but it is not really instructive.
