No different stratm but a good tip. On the 1st shot, aim for the top of the bubble because the bird will bend downwards when it hits the water. IOW, don’t try for a straight to take out the 1st two pigs.

@admins – I need your help! I just entered what should have been my score in this level. There was a score of 48,410 before the final two birds were tallied. I got a screenshot showing the score before the final bird was counted. The final score should read 68,410 points. Instead, the final Tally screen shows 81,350 points. I have no idea why the score went so high, so I’ve entered what I believe the score would have been. Here is the screenshot before the final bird was counted;

You can see the amount of destruction before the Tally screen, with one bird counted & one about to be counted.

Below is the screenshot taken of the Tally screen. How the score got that high I have no idea. Maybe a weird Double Counted Bird + more???

For the record, I used the same two shots as in the video. I have entered the score I think I should have gotten. I leave it to you to decide what my score should be.
Thanks

@meanguy that really is a strange occurence. I think you’re right, that it is a DCB glitch or similar to it. But in Space?! Remember it only happens in Rio, so there are a few levels we blacklisted from the Daily Challenge.

However, I don’t think it’s a true DCB glitch. If it were, the tally screen score would have been 88,410.

We’ll have to do more vetting to try and figure out if we can recreate what you experienced. But for now, please keep your “true” score as entered, 68,410.

Congrats on your puppy!

@admins – Thanks for the quick response. I am totally baffled by this. That is why I did not enter the outrageous score and deferred to you.

I’ve had scores disappear, and scores that refused to tally. Once, a few years back, I wrote to the @admins and to Rovio because ALL my scores in ABSpace just vanished. Between the Nest & Rovio, no one could explain it. At least Rovio was nice enough to not charge me again to play Danger Zone.

@meanguy

Even your pre-tally score is strange, since the northeastern tower has experienced a partial collapse, something which shouldn’t happen if you made the normal walkthrough. Also, I do not see the anchor, which is supposed to be one of the rare indestructible parts of the game. For some reason, the game may have become glitchy, just as with the infamous NaN bug, but as far as I know they only occur when there are explosions, which is not the case in this level.

Now, regarding why this happened, I have experienced a few problems with the recent versions of Bluestacks, so maybe there was some issue with it, but it never gave rise to such instabilities (the game crashed instead). As long as no one reports this again, it is hard to tell.

@sglouk – Thanks for the input. I, too, have experienced problems on BlueStacks. I use BlueStacks 2 (not 3, until they make me like they did when 2 came out) on my PC. However, I was playing this Challenge level on my older (2011) Toshiba Thrive tablet. It has not been updatable since mid 2015. I don’t know which version of the game it has.

That is why I contacted the @admins about this. The game took a long pause between counting the unused birds. That’s how I had enough time to get a screenshot of the destruction. After the final bird was counted, the screen went black for a long second before the Tally screen appeared. When it did come up, it had a ridiculously high score.

After thinking about this for a while now, I can only conclude that I got some kind of weird glitch, evidenced by the destruction of the “indestructible” anchor, which I had not noticed.

@admins – Though I feel that I did nothing wrong, I am asking that you remove my Puppy-Worthy score. I do have a 65,340 point score on BlueStacks that I can post if needed. I want the Nest to be as fair as possible for everyone, myself included. Since I doubt that my result can be duplicated, I think it’s the right thing to do.

I never intended to ruffle any feathers…lol !!
