While Angry Birds Space does not receive the most frequent updates, we have little to complain about today. We teased this update last week and now Mirror Worlds & Brass Hogs (v2.1.0) has landed! The update is currently available for iOS, Steam, and Android via Google Play.
Intergalactic super-villain Hektor Porko is hiding out in another dimension – The Mirror World. Take out his steampunk cronies in an all-new episode, Brass Hogs, to dive into the Mirror World and go face to mustachioed face with Hektor himself!
This update includes (a TON of stuff):
- 30 new levels in the Brass Hogs episode! Our walkthroughs are available when you need them.
- Mirror World! Every single level (except Eggsteroids and Danger Zone) now has a mirror! Each of these 260 levels is unlocked by 3-starring its “normal” equivalent. For example, if you’ve 3-starred Pig Bang Level 1-1, then Level M1-1 will be unlocked in the Mirror World! Or, if you don’t want to 3-star all of the levels, you can unlock all Mirror World levels as an $5.99 in-app purchase. Simply click the shopping cart to check our all IAPs! Before you can play the Mirror Worlds you need to unlock them by beating level 9-2. Check out the video above for more details.
- Leaderboard Situation: We will be discussing whether to create leaderboard entries for the Mirror levels. We will keep you posted.
- Daily Missions! Each day there are 3 new missions, completing which will help you unlock more and more levels in Brass Hogs! For example, 5 completed missions are required to unlock Level 9-4… which is why you’ll see “x/5” over its level icon.
- No new Sardine Can levels, though our walkthroughs are available for past episodes if you need them
- New Golden Eggsteroids? We don’t think there are any in this update… But be sure to keep an eye out and check out our Complete Eggsteroids Guide.
- Two new iOS achievements!
- Wingman added to the cast of Power Ups. His ability is rather different than is “original Angry Birds” equivalent, but equally destructive!
- You can find our Froot Loop Bloopers walkthroughs here.
So what are you waiting for? Blast off into this new horizon!
Special Mini Froot Loop Bloopers Episode
In addition to all the new content above, this update includes a special mini Froot Loop Bloopers episode that features five Froot Loop themed levels. To access this episode tap the Froot Loops Bloopers icon above the Brass Hogs planet. In these levels the Space Eagle has been replaced by Toucan Sam, or, the Toucan Sam Highscore.
Note, it appears that this is only available in the US. If you have any additional info please leave a comment below.
Our walkthroughs for the Froot Loops Bloopers levels can be found here. We also added a leaderboard, but since not everyone has access to these levels we’ve disable entry. This will keep things fair for all.

I guess it is out for android too. I got information that AB space premium has been updated, but I didn’t open application yet to check.
according to update description it should be nice update.
just a quick update on previous – I opened application and one of my daily mission is to try out all power ups!?! I guess it is intended to make “non power up” players to purchase some (once when they spend all that they got for free as daily rewards). I don’t like this…
You don’t have to purchase any to try them. Go to the shop, and at the bottom there’s a button to try each power-up. I met the goal by doing this.
@magsy79 How do you get that to happen? I click on Try it at the bottom just as you suggest and all I get is the same red bird.
There is one for each. Swipe sideways to choose which PU to try.
The Wingman Try-it level (T-5) is hard. Still have not figured out how to complete it…
@f91jsw Wingman up the middle. Tap early so he’s “pulling” power is activated.
Thanks! I hadn’t noticed Wingman’s new ability.
@f91jsw I did swipe it but keep getting the same red bird for all levels T-1 through T-5.
@steely59 Once in the level, touch the PU choice in the upper left of the screen. This will change the red bird for the power-up.
Thx @catsnbirds! Silly me, but I’m not used to using power-ups ;-)
@steely59 Me either! I too kept trying each level by just flinging the red bird. Then I remembered how you activate the mighty, or space, eagle. One of those “duh” moments.
@f91jsw Center wingman between the two rows of bubbled pigs, power-up before reaching the row. Should take out all but the top pig, use red to pop him. Hope this is all we have to do with the PU’s!
Seems there will be 360 missions to complete in total. That’s a hefty amount.
Each of today’s missions had a “1” under the image, so I assume they were worth 1 point toward that total. We’ll probably see more-challenging missions in the future that will be worth more than 1 point.
@dr_ishmael Today I got two missions worth 2 points
I think I see where this is going. My guess is that in the end, to complete all missions, you have to 3 star all or most mirror levels.
The “Try it!” button gains a checkmark when you complete the level, so I’m pretty sure that’s what we’re *supposed* to do for this mission.
It’s been SO long since we last saw a new bird (Bubbles, back in summer of 2012)!
Not necessarily. Stella the pink bird came in the Back To School update for Angry Birds Seasons.
Is it called Mirror World or Brass Hogs?
Brass Hogs
The update is available on steam, so Rovio are still updating the steam version
What you mean is Angry Birds Space for PC has released?
Yeah, update is out on PC only via Steam
Actually both Eggsteroids and Danger Zone do have mirror levels as well. But at least on my android Eggsteroids lvl 10 is broken. The game exits when trying to open this level. Also the same happens trying to open Beak Impact 2 episode mirror.
Forgot to mention: Mirror Worlds are just that, horizontally mirrored and darkened versions of original levels. As a right handed person I might have preferred to play most levels this way, if it had been an option originally. However the value of simple mirroring now remains to be seen.
It looks to me that the mirror levels have some variations from the originals.
I do hope you are right. Have you noticed any specific differences?
They are harder than the original
Yes there are most pigs and structure
Oh My Bird or ‘Kuukkeli vieköön’ as natives might say. You are absolutely correct @dmsral, it’s no simple mirror world it is whole Parallel Birdverse. Hector Porko and varying degree of additional changes seem to appear on every mirror level.
This must be the most terrifying update from Rovio ever, for that matter, it might be the most terrifying update of any mobile game ever which I leave for those to judge that posses broader knowledge of the field.
I beg to reconsider my above statement, I really didn’t understand what I was wishing for. How are we to have time for stupid everyday things like eating and sleeping not to speak of something as boring as work XD
From what I see, EVERY level of AB Space has a Mirror counterpart. So basically, you have to complete the entire game again, including feathers.. That’s one heck of an update!!
Holy cow, I didn’t notice this until now. And here I was bemoaning the daily levels – now I’ve got my hands full!
2.1.1 seems to ‘fix’ things. No more Eggsteroids and Danger Zone mirrors and Beak Impact 2 mirror exit is history as well.
@amslimfordy As for the Special Mini Froot Loop levels: Froot loops are only sold on the US and UK markets so the “advertising value” would not apply for other countries. My guess is therefore that it’s country specific and perhaps only shown on US devices.
I used VPN app and now i get these levels.
@admins I don’t see the Froot Loops icon anywhere, even though they are sold here in Canada.
@admins — I also haven’t seen the mini Fruit Loops icon, and I live just down the road from BL in CA and play on iPad. Will let you know if they appear.
OK, still hadn’t seen the Froot Loop Bloopers appear, so decided to hard close all apps and do a hard shutdown and restart of my iPad. At Last! Froot Loops is there.
@steely59 Nothing here in the UK! I’ll let ABN know if it changes!
No Froot Loops in Canada :(
The android (free) version seems not to have mirror worlds??? where can i find it? its not in the shop too
Josm you van fins it searching on google, Rovio did it because v2.1.0 have manu bugs. Now v2.1.1 is available, try fins again.
lol, was so excited about the mirror world, didnt knw you need to unlock them in level 2 :)
Search: Angry Birds Space on web and will appear, click and you will to Google Play, so you can update.
@filipersr i dont need to update, i have 2.1.1. i didnt know you need to complete the new level 2 to unlock mirror worlds ;)
Now you can share your Gameplay.
I have a feeling this is the best update ever!
v2.1.0 on Android shows cutscenes in cartoon and you get 100 Wingman free. Probably it’s a mistake of Rovio and i can’t se my score total in each world. This version has many bugs, crashing my hame, but I have new quests in five minutes.
Me too, 100 wingman, no score on main page, beak impact 2 crash issue.
And i can do more than 3 mission per day ( I have to wait 5 min between each mission)
I made about 10 or 12 missions with this bug
This post was removed yesterday (i don’t known why) it’s about the first version 2.1.0
In version 2.1.0 the tutorial powerups is very different, yes there was many bugs and difference….
2.1.0 was a mistake from rovio to upload that version, its a testing version.
Its crashing a lot, you get free wingmans, and no time limit for the achievements.. also all boss levels are totally different in 2.1.1. In 2.1.0 they aere all the same in mirror mode compared to normal mode.
This may explain why my perception of the mirror worlds changed completely after the update. Are you saying @josm that you have both versions to be able to compare them? Admittedly my first look (at 2.1.0) was cursory at best.
@micromax not me, but i have friends running 2.1.0. i recommend to update, since progress made in 2.1.0 might be not transferable to newer version 2.1.1. There changed a lot in 2.1.1 and that not only some bug fixes, they had those 2 versions but uploaded the wrong one, since this first version only was available 1 hours or so…
I see @josm, wholeheartedly agree with your update recommendation even though playing 1st 2 Brass Hogs lvls with 2.1.0 has brought me no harm.
It seems like i cant use the birds powers, when using laser bird or bomb i cant activate their powers by tapping (android;gamev2.1.1)
sheesh…cannot beleive an awesome update like this has landed now as i kept a b space till last as told it was most difficult..iv 3 star all or ab and updates same with rio and seasons and my 2nd favourite a b s w 1 and my best ever a b s w 2..so i did everything but space…..i thought it had finished…well more entertainment…lol iv just yesterday finished 3 stars of origanal cold cuts…lot of flinging to be done
If you do make mirror leader boards it will be interesting to see how the scores compare.
Second that @sparty83 – would be interesting to find that out – but are all releases carrying the same Mirrored levels – on my iphone iOS version Pig Bang through to Beak Impact 2 & Brass Hogs are the only levels mirrored. I noticed that some posts have mentioned that Eggsteroids & DZ are mirrored – not here though! And alas no Fruit Loop levels in the UK!
Bird Maniac (@earthbound)
From the couple of levels in Pig Bang, the levels are completely different. Level 1 has 5 pigs instead of 1 and level 2 has 5 pigs instead of 4. If it were my decision, there would be a second set of leader boards since the levels are not exact mirrors of each other (at least not yet)
@sparty83
I fully agree. The mirror level are completely different game. When it is similar but with more strucures, it is nice to still have in mind the strat, and you get more points, but when it is the same design but different birds (e.g., 1-17), you really have to restart from scratch, and often you have less points (at least less obvious points).
Moreover, these levels are more difficult to play on a small screen before of the weaker color contrast and the larger size of some levels. Therefore, I would support a separate leaderboard.
Before v2.1.1 i can’t see Danger Zone Mirror levels, but i have some quests there.
Having 30 new levels, 5 or so Try Me levels, 5 Froot Loops levels.. PLUS a mirror universe with EVERY AB Space level that has come before it.. this is definitely the biggest update to an AB game EVER.
Plus, I am still floored that Toucan Sam is now an official playable (sort of) character in Angry Birds (he replaces the Space Eagle in the Froot Loops levels).
And to top it all off, this is an official AB Steampunk game!!!
Major kudos to Rovio on this. Almost makes up for such a long time between updates. I honestly thought Space was done with.
What really bothers me though, is the story. I am hoping we will someday get a story of how they get back to Earth and Piggy Island. And why the Eggsteroids are so important to Ice Bird.
After v2.1.1 i can’t see Danger Zone Mirror levels, but i have some quests there. Rovio need fix it.
@e-star and me are from the same country, and i dont have the special episode too. Only in USA i guess
I don’t see froot loops bloopers
Maybe not in my french country
I live in the USA and I can see the Fruit Loops levels.
So let’s see… 30 new Brass Hogs levels… 5 Try Power-up levels… 5 Fruit Loops levels… and 260 Mirror Worlds levels in total. That makes a grand total of an even THREE HUNDRED new levels!!
How on earth am I going to finish them all when I still have a few unfinished chapters in the other Angry Birds games?! :D
I LOVE IT!!!
This is unbelievable… This update now immediately crashes on my ASUS Memo Pad 7.
Angry Birds Epic started immediately crashing as of version 1.2. (released last December), and now Space doesn’t run.
What the hell is going on? I’ve played every single AB game, and now it looks like one by one they are going to stop working on my Android tablet? What gives?
Thanks,
sutekh137
@sutekh137 make sure you have 2.1.1
@Josm
Yeah, I have 2.1.1 — that’s what I just upgraded to and that is when it broke. It worked before that, as far as I know, though I haven’t opened Space in a while.
No, I am pretty sure that because my Android tablet has Intel guts that Rovio is leaving it behind. It can’t be a coincidence that Epic goes belly up and then a month later Space crashes immediately as well. They just don’t care.
And I reported the Epic crashing to them a few days ago, no reply as of yet. All they need to do is get an ASUS test tablet that crashes and debug and see what is going on.
Unlike Epic, I can’t download Space on my iPhone and chip away at the new levels — I’d have to start from scratch because the game isn’t saved on their servers. At least with Epic I am still hammering away using my iPhone and that progress will be there when (if ever) I can play the game again on the much more pleasurable experience of my 7-inch tablet.
Just FYI, Angry Birds Go! has been flaky as well since a couple updates ago, showing completed progress as 78%, then back to 100%, and now blacking out after every time I do a daily challenge. Super frustrating for how graphically simple these Rovio games are, comparatively speaking. Why on earth they would every need to lose compatibility with a certain branch of hardware is totally incomprehensible to me — keep it vanilla.
Thanks,
sutekh137
No froot loops bloopers for me either…
Despite being in the UK where the product is sold (using free version on Android 4.4.4). Also, with these levels seemingly limited to certain countries, and in turn, a small minority of players, why have a leaderboard that will inevitably affect the overall ranking in ABsp for those unable to play the episode/levels?; seems a bit unfair to me!
Furthermore, I must be the only one who doesn’t like this update…
For starters, having to wait each day for missions in order to unlock levels is yet another way for Rovio to dictate when and how we play the game, besides from which, not everyone is able to play every day, so what happens if you miss the daily missions? An incomplete episode perhaps? Or the expectancy to pay for the remaining levels?
I also refuse point blank to use pu’s, meaning I can only complete 2/3 missions for the day one missions, and as such I’m already at an unfair (imo) disadvantage in so for as unlocking the next available level/s. What happened to just giving us a full episode to play and enjoy in our own time without dictatorship etc?
Additionally, what’s with the mirror levels?..
This might seem like a huge update for some, but for me personally, I’d rather ‘not’ play every episode/level again, regardless of whether they are upside-down, back-to-front, sideways, mirrored or otherwise; played them enough the first time around! And the second time around for that matter!
In any case, Rovio have again ruined my enjoyment of yet another app, and with less and less to play, I’m finding other things to do with my time, so hey ho, I guess it’ll soon be a case of saying “it was fun while it lasted”.
@leggy you don’t have to use your powerups .press the button “try it” under each icon. It’s free. (like the tutorial in AB original)
Yep, spotted that @mikroll79…
However, when I say that I refuse point blank to use pu’s, I really do mean it! I don’t care if they’re try now, buy now, or whatever Rovio want to dress them up as, nothing will deter my decision, uh-huh, no way, not happening…but thanks for the reply. ;)
@leggy I partly agree.
But @mikroll79 is right. Test-levels appear and your score there does not appear elsewhere. That said, this feature is of course ment to give you the taste for using PU’s, and I don’t particularly like it.
As for the mirror levels I for one have no one intention to play them all, to me it feels tedious and boring. Just my opinion, I’m sure lots of people feel otherwise. But I sincerely hope it will be decided not to have them on the leaderboards.
@leggy I wholeheartedly agree with everything you have said here. Rovio is one-by-one ruining their games… Space has always been my favorite, and I was praying this update wouldn’t ruin it for me.
But it has.
I’m particularly irked over the Fruit Loops promo. Rovio no longer makes original content. All they do is advertise other products through their games. Ham Dunk. On Finn Ice. Fruit Loops. The sponsored level contest. I paid for AD FREE games and theyre undermining that. Rovio is no longer a creative app developer. They’re an advertising that relies on other companies to make revenue.
And the timer levels. That’s Supercell territory. Supercell makes currency and time based games that are enjoyable and have no outside promos whatsoever. Rovio is trying to get in on their gig and in the process ruining every single app they make. What happened to being able to sit down on a long plane ride and beat an Angry Birds game? Those were good times, and I loved being able to do that.
But those times are gone and Rovio games are no longer any fun.
Oh well.
I 100% agree with your point on the “Brass Hogs” levels!
In your “Mirror Worlds” case, I partially agree (“Mirror Worlds” fun if you’re looking to waste spare time!)
Okay, so day two of the new update, and with no real urgency to pick up my tablet all day to play the new episode, I found myself with a spare half an hour this evening so I thought that I’d at least open up the app to see what the new missions were:
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/leggy/album/picture/12599/
What a load of cods-whallop!…
As previously stated, I refuse to use pu’s and I don’t want to play the mirror episodes/levels, so that leaves me with just one option and it doesn’t even have the green arrow. So okay, I hit each of the red boxes with the ‘x’ but then got a message stating that I’d have to wait 30mins for a new mission. Like c’mon?
Talk about a total killjoy!
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted! ;)
@leggy As for #1, you don’t need to use them in-game. Click the green arrow to be brought to the Shop and “try” them there.
Sorry @amslimfordy, seems we were typing bat the same time. Please see my reply to mikroll79 above…and as I said to him/her, thanks in any case for the reply. ;)
@leegy, it is early days yet, but I will cautiously step ionto the dislike side.
Some of the comments made above within hours of release strike me as giddy and unbelieveable.
There are flaws. The frequency of video ads forced me to spend 99c to avoid and perhaps that was Rovio’s intent. But I recall a discussion several months ago that Rovio favoured the ads over paiy for games model.
Either way Rovio may have shot themselves in the foot.
But my biggest complaint is the mirror world levels are so murky that I can’ distinguish the birds. They all look grayish to me and on some levels with small graphics, its hard to discern their shape. So I waste a few plays to figure out which is which by experimenting and hope I can remember later.. Utopia mirror level 18 is particularly bad. The last two birds look like blues, but they don’t split, so I guess they must be little red. Is this any way to release a game?
@birdmeister, your comment about M4-18 made me curious, so I checked it out on my iPad.
I agree with you that some Mirror levels seem murky & in quickly looking thru some of them, it seems to me that Utopia may be the worst. I imagine on older smaller devices it may be pretty darn difficult to determine which birds we have in the lineup or sling. I did launch all of them on M4-18 & the last 2 certainly are blues & they did split. I even tried on my Android phone & they split here too.
I had trouble getting this update to install on my Android phone & at 1st the gameplay wasn’t smooth. I restarted the phone & it was a little better, but all of those ads made it almost impossible to play so I turned off both data & wifi & it seems to be running more smoothely. Perhaps 1 of these will fix the blues not splitting for you.
I spoke much too soon in my previous comments. I now understand how bad this update was.
Many Mirror World levels on my Android tablet cannot be played due to a bug that affects blues and Purple Bird. Purple bird keeps flying straight and blues won’t split when triggering. In addition to Utopia 18, Brass Hogs 2,3 and 5 are unplayable. I have given up trying to find a workaround.
Rovio has again issued a poorly functioning update for Android.
@birdMeister
At least the app opens for you (though it sounds like I’m not missing much… *smile*)…
It seems to me like this might be a basic performance issue. Because from what I have read on this thread, it sounds like the interface simply is not responding to the secondary tap (that would split Blue or directionally fire Purple).
Do any birds utilizing a secondary tap work properly (I can’t even remember the Space birds…)? With the mirroring, ads, and just general crashiness folks are talking about, I am guessing the app simply can’t detect user input after the bird is launched.
Thanks,
sutekh137
I’m having trouble getting the next levels unlocked – it says I have to use all the powerups. I thought I did – I used 4 different powerups (3 red birds, egg, green pig, bird in a helmet), but it didn’t unlock. I think it’s suggesting that there’s one left I have to do. In the PU store, there’s a suitcase with lightning on it, but no option to try that one, as far as I can tell. Can a video be posted of exactly what one does to unlock the 4th level in Brass Hogs? If they’re going to require me to keep using power ups (I’ve never purchased them), I guess I’ll be done with the Brass Hogs levels, which is a little disappointing.
Did you do the Space Eagle one?
I hadn’t, but I just tried it, and still no dice – says I need to still use one of the power ups. However, then something weird happened. I replayed level 3, and when I completed it, the arrow forward icon was available, so I pressed it, and it took me to level 4. I kept playing levels, moving forward (did about 10 more), but then when I exited, it shows those levels as still locked, even though it also shows I have stars on them! Alas, I can’t re-enter those levels unless I replay from level 3 through. Guess I’ll have to find the time to play all of them in a row. Clearly it’s buggy in not properly unlocking level 4, and in letting me proceed anyway. Very frustrating.
Ok – so now I get it. I wasn’t supposed to use my own power ups – I was supposed to click on the Try It button in the store for each of them, and use them all successfully. Got that done now!
Oh – but now it seems like I have to wait for 16 hours? I don’t get it. It says I unlocked all the daily tasks, but now I can’t play the next level? This seems horrible, if that’s it. Anyone else get it?
@gavza you have 3 achievements every 16 hours, it will take weeks-months to unlock the levels. ((or play with time settings))
@gavza @josm But you get more than 1 achievement per day. Different missions have different weights, it seems. I’m up to 17 completions now, using only two 16-hour cycles.
Well this stinks. The entire mirror world is extremely slow and choppy for me, even the menus. The normal game works fine but the mirror part is almost unplayable.
I take it back. It isn’t “almost unplayable” it is unplayable. Along with the slow and choppy I can’t activate any of the birds powers either.
Some things I found out. You wouldn’t need to beat 360 daily missions to eventually unlock the final Brass Hogs level. For my second set of daily missions, each one gave me 2 points. So I have 9 points in total now and unlocked up to the 5th level. I doubt that it’d keep increasing linearly but this is good to know.
This time I got red Xs for the missions. I tried pressing on one because the mission was something I didn’t like doing. It erased it and said it will give me a new one 30 minutes later.
I tried changing my iPhone time to 1 hour later to see what would happen. It indeed accelerated the time and unlocked the 30 minute timer. Didn’t check if restoring the time would lock it again. And the other two 16 hour timers moved forward by an hour too. I guess I could unlock 360 points of missions quickly this way, but didn’t feel like doing it. And a bit worried that I might break the game in some way.
Got home from work and as soon as possible I downloaded this update. I guess there already was an update to the update. I am running 2.1.1 on Android Jellybean 4.1.2. I am playing the ad supported version (as I was a cheap skate when it first came out). On very annoying thing about this is that when the ads show up, my screen goes black. I was able to make an old school video of this happening. At about the 26 second mark of the vid, the ad drops down on the upper right and the entire screen goes black. I have to hit the back button on the phone for the Pause screen to show up. Even while playing, if I hit the pause screen, that part of the screen will go black and I have to rely on my memory to guess where to tap for what I want to do.
http://youtu.be/4zXjecaNIv0
I have had the screen go black while playing a level and have a bird pulled back about to release. This is not good.
@admins
@admins,
I contacted Rovio about the ads blacking out the game during game play, this is their response:
Hello,
and thanks for contacting us.
We are currently investigating these problems with ads in the games and we will hopefully get them fixed in no time at all. We are also investigating the missing scores you have in Seasons. We apologize for the inconvenience.
If you were to upgrade to the paid version, all of your progress would be lost unless you manually transfer them to the game. You can find more information on how to do this here: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/how-to-back-up-angry-birds-progress-on-android-rooted-and-non-rooted/
We apologize for the inconvenience!
Best regards,
@admins — Was able to enter scores for Brass Hogs and Brass Hogs Mirror levels, but not for Pig Bang mirror levels.
@mvnla2 As we have not added those levels to the leaderboard yet…..
@amslimfordy
Do you have decided whether the mirror world level will be part of the overall leaderboard? I have noticed that on the Game Center, only ordinary level are taken into account.
@amslimfordy
Btw, I do not have the Froot Loops level on my game, which is not a surprise since I have never seen Froot Loops in any shop around (France).
@sglouk Mirror level scores will be enter on a separate leaderboard:
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/leaderboard/angry-birds-space-mirror-worlds/
@birdleader
I think it is a good idea, thanks. Will the leaderboard be available before walkthrough are ready? It should take you quite a while to do them all (I wish I could help, but have no idea how to record on an iPhone).
@admins — Any idea when all mirror-world leader boards will be open?
@mvnla2 I actually just posted a comment on that leaderboard that we’re working on it. There is just a lot to do. We’ll get their eventually. Appreciate the patience.
Thanks! I keep thinking I need to empty the cache, or restart my computer, or something. Will try to wait patiently.
Just a tip: A friend of mine in Canada said she was able to get the Froot Loop Bloopers episode to appear by turning on VPN on her phone.
But VPN is not something you just turn on. It requires configuration towards a specific network.
@f91jsw That’s true. Just mentioning that if you have such a network configured, it works. :)
Not an option on my device @kelani…
using an Xperia Z2 tablet on which the option has been blocked by Sony themselves. :(
Can anyone play this game? When I downloaded from Play Store and try it, it says “Unfortunately Angry Birds Space has stopped working” o_0
Yes. The first thing to try is to boot your device. Which device do you have?
Asus Zenfone 4 running on Android 4.4.2.. I didn’t think of that.. But when I try play it on my old Tab (Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000) It can play..
@sonnykero
That phone has an Intel processor, right? As does my ASUS Memopad 7.
I think that is the problem. Whatever new dev Rovio is doing appears to be having issues with Intel-based Android now. Both Space and Epic worked fine before, but recent updates make the apps not even load.
I have a support request in to Rovio for both Epic and Space, but have not heard anything back (it has been several days, but I imagine they are pretty swamped with the Space release and the ongoing issues with Epic…)
Thanks for the response, though — really is starting to look like the Intel core is the problem.
Thanks,
sutekh137
The ARM processor in the Samsung unit is apparently more standard for Android (more common than Intel, anyway). So that is probably why it still works on that.
Thanks,

By now we know that mirror levels are significantly different and Froot Loops are not available for nearly everyone.
Consequently I propose:
1. Separate Mirror Space leaderboard with appropriate adjustments.
2. Exclude Froot Loops from total scores.
Well said @micromax – totally agree!
OK still not really happy with this update… I completed all three missions for today (2nd day of gameplay) but only two levels were unlocked; regular and mirror. 3-starred those but level 6 is still not unlocked. My understanding was that there would be 1 unlocked level per mission?
Tried restarting my device and rebooting the game, no change.
Did I miss something (again)?
@steely59
On the episode screen, you have a number of requested points to perform to unlock a level. It grow faster than 1 point per level, and possibly the number of points you get depends on the mission. After the 2nd round of mission, I could only unlock level 5, not 6.
@steely59 What does it say over the spot where Level 6 is?
Also, make sure you’re in “normal” mode. The mirror level won’t unlock until you 3-star the original.
@amslimfordy It says 10/13. All 3 missions have been completed; there is a red 0 over the blue exclamation mark and I am in the “normal” mode.
@steely59 Different missions have different values. When you get new ones, you’ll see … almost looks like a silver coin … with a number on it. That indicates the value.
For example, I am now at 17/18.
@amslimfordy Thx..so all I can do for now is wait? And when new missions appear, try and request the ones with higher values to be able to move ahead quicker?
@steely59 Perhaps so. I didn’t notice it myself until you mentioned it. But having 17/18 myself, there’s certainly something going on. I’ll check more closely in a few hours when mine comes around again.
@amslimfordy OK I got it now. May I humbly suggest that some additional narrative re this be added to the otherwise excellent description for daily missions at the top of this page. Thank you!
