This strategy for Danger Zone level 24 comes courtesy of BirdLeader since this level had me stumped. Send the Ice bird just above the bottom planet so that it freezes the top of the rightmost tower. Fire the Blue bird along the same trajectory, splitting just before impact. A lone Blue bird should break the vertical ice block in the middle of the level, causing the structure to become unstable under the strange gravity. With a little luck, the structures will fall and trigger the TNT below. The score in the video below is 102,470.

great strategy. 103,800.
Alternate strategy: aim the ice bird approx. 8 o’clock, and he will follow an elongated elliptical trajectory close to the lower planet and all away around the rightmost tower, and freeze the stone support in the center. A lucky 2-birder will collapse the structure, leaving just the rightmost tower for bird 2. Otherwise aim the second bird along the same trajectory, and use the laser bird to clear the rightmost tower.
I have no idea how to follow your instructions. If you shoot the any bird towards 8 O’Clock, you hit the left side of the tower on the far right, and there is no way for any bird to hit the center support structure (barring using Lazer bird to redirect).
Since the path curves, it’s hard to understand what he means by 8 o’clock. But I got it to work consistently, like every throw. It’s bird two Im having issues with.
Basically, aim Frosh straight down-ish. As a guide try to make his path of dots as long as possible, but with a slight 15 degrees-ish curve around the planet.
Your goal get his path to go around the lower planet… Without hitting the right structure.
Once you get the trajectory right, just remember it… Background landmarks are great for this.
Thanks loox! 109070
Though Frosh hit the right structure, it fell, I sent bb in the same direction, they hit the left structure and this hit the lower one including both mushrooms.
I disagree, I have managed it.
The trick here is to aim at about 7:30, not 8:00. The resulting trajectory takes frosty between the lower and upper planets, only just misses the point on the wooden triangle and plunges into the stone support in the centre.
However, I have yet to complete the level using this method – just wanted to say it is possible.
@heathen : this is the shot, but still I cant get a two bird from it yet. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p591/arun_may16/pathdraw.jpg
@vista – You just missed the tower to the far right…you need to hit is in such a manner so that you can practically freeze as much of the tower as possible, setting it up for the upcoming blue birds. Hope this helps.
@Heathen, i was trying to give the path @f91jsw ‘s strat used, FIrst bird goes to the centre support and breaks it for a two birder. You can use the bluebird to get the the far right tower.
That helped! Thx! I find the first shot very repeatable, but the second is the tricky one…
Alternate strategy: fire the ice bird at about 10:30 (upper left) so it skims just over the 3 pigs in the bubble. It will hit the rightmost tower from the left and can freeze the entire tower, apart from the metal base.
Next, fire the blue birds the same way as the 1st bird in this video, but split it early, when it is at the same height of the metal base of the rightmost tower (when it begins to make its sharp U-turn). with a little luck the entire tower will be destroyed (apart from the base) and one of the blue birds will hit the central structure, collapsing it (it takes very little to bring it out of balance).
It takes a few tries but yields approx. 5K more points.
Fount this much easier, if potentially fewer points than angriestblackbird, above.
I ended up using this same approach. The first shot is very consistent … you want to end up hitting the ice block on the tower.
The second is a little less reliable. Split when bbb is approaching the top “iced” tower. You want the collapsing blocks hit the mushrooms ( 3k each ) and of course the tnt.
Thanks for this! I have been on vacation and trying to get through these levels with minimal walkthrough help. This one had me stymied for over a week. I barely got 3 stars, but I couldn’t get over 95k on my own. If I can get the magical mushrooms, that will help my score, but at least I have the 3 stars :). Thanks again, very helpful.
@angrychicken
This is the strategy I was using when I came to post my score and check in here. What I’m just not understanding is that I’m doing it with two birds constantly and I’m not getting anywhere near the numbers you guys are getting. I’m doing 107k as my best (until just a minute ago when I got 109) and averaging 105k. Are you getting the high scores (114 & 115, how did some one get 126?) this way or with one of the others. It gets a bit confusing when people are talking about the score they got but not saying actually what it is and the score by their name is their highest.
I’ve got a headache, did any of that make sense?
Well @e-star Answered my question. I just didn’t look far enough down the page. I’ve got to get rid of this headache, it’s making me an idjut.
@angrychicken Thank you!!! Your strategy worked very well. The tip about splitting early seemed to be the difference. The left purple mushroom was able to be hit along with most of the structure on the right. I was stuck at 102k.
Revisiting and got 7K more with this strat! THX!
Here is the 10:30 Shot inspired by @angrychicken that I used, it always hits the vertical ice block of the right tower.
Tip for iPad users: zoom out, align your trajectory just below the top right spike of the pig-mine background ( see image )
I was fortunate enough to have debris fall from that tower to the left, hitting the “other” vertical ice block that supported the left tower.
Nice shot! I never managed to hit the support.
Thanks all…There are several good alternate strats to choose from for score improvment. Before seeing these strats, I had 103330 on my own and tried the above mentioned various strats and ended up getting a one birdie by aiming like others, I guess with what would be the “10:30” strat or leftward to pass over bubble with three pigs and hit the ice plank on far right structure where I got lucky as a piece of debris flew into the other ice plank that supports the left structure and it tumbled down to clear the level. There is definately room for improvement as I think I only got one mushroom but I’m happy with my score as long as it stays above average ;-)
Thanks ABN
I got a lousy 85000 the first time I tried it but on the second try, things went better & I got 103,470. Will try for higher but right now just glad I
didn’t have to spend a lot of time getting a respectable score.
I used the same methode as angrychicken, Shot the fist ice bird to the left so i goed above the planets. When it lands into the right tower i does more damage than from the right. The second bird, the Blue bird I shot the same as the video. I got 113220 with this methode.
Here’s my video
Thank you to everyone for not only figuring out the strategy, but also sharing it with us. E-star, I consistently rely on your videos for the visual. I am almost always able to improve my score after watching. Thanks so much.
Glad I can be of help :)
Thanks again E-star. Was able to improve my score 5k to avove average after watching your video
Пока 110,570 , но уже огромное спасибо.
Ty @angrychicken great Strat although it looked more like 1:30 , to me..lol
Time zones..;) ty @E-Star for video:)
As I try to improve my scores, this is one level that seems to aggravate me. :-(. Aprreciate ABN’s and e-star’s videos, though! :-)
116230. Freezer bird over the top. Bluebird under like the video.
First shot aimed at about 11 o’clock (use the mine as a reference) as described by @angrychicken. My second shot was aimed under the main planet mid-way between the upper and lower planets on the right. Just past where the blue bird starts its decent, I split it. Two of the birds hit the stone horizontal piece that holds up upper structures, breaking through and destabilizing the structure. When it collapsed, it knocked down the remaining lower structure and blowing the TNT. I got an unbelievable score.
This picture is an indication of the trajectory of the second bird. It’s not exact, but gives a pretty good representation of where the vector, release and hit points are. It’s easier to imagine this way.

@ohforfive here is my version of shot two
http://angrybir.de/1bvysv3
I had been trying the same approach as your pic but was always leaving the frozen debris of the right tower behind which is a considerable amount. Did you happen to recall if you had a great collapse with shot one? I have almost leveled the structure several times but haven’t managed to string two excellent shots together yet for a great score.
I will say that waiting till later to split the blues does give a better spread and guarantees dropping the left tower.
My strat is similar to @f91jsw‘s. My aiming points were done on PC, and should also work on tablets.
111870 on a 2-birder:
1) Arc the Ice bird backward to thread the needle under the planets. Aim point is on the mine below the slingshot so that the swoop starts just above the bottom of that spike and should leave one dot in the middle of the spike as it passes. The key for this shot to work are to barely clip the triangle atop the right tower and slam into the support of the top left structure so that it collapses on freezing. You should let the Ice bird auto-trigger. Top left structure should collapse on the one below it, killing the pig, blowing the TNT and taking out one or both crystals.
2) Send Blue on an upward arc slightly higher than the slingshot planet. Split just before they go up and over the planet. One of your splitters will take out the ice block on the right tower and kill the pig.
20k Bonus. :)
