Angry Birds Space Danger Zone Level 17 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Danger Zone level 17 is to send Terence around the southern hemisphere of the first planet. As he comes around, he will trigger the chain of TNT on the right planet. Launch the next bird head-on into the first boulder to earn some extra points while popping the last pig. The score in the video below is 85,450.

Hey guys,

As I’m going through and creating these pages, it occurs to me that this level could help with the “Lagrangian Point” achievement. The planets appear to have same gravitational pull. Can anyone manage it? (I will try as well, once I finish site maintenance.)

No it works to get the bird in the middle, but the monster bird keeps disappearing and I don’t get the achievement.

Slim, I cleared the field with my first two birds. The last one I sent in slow, he stopped in the center of the field, but NO achievement, sorry, maybe you will have luck! :)

One more voice to the chorus…I sent in two birds at once to the center, one was perfectly positioned, he slowed to a stop, sat there for 1-2 seconds completely motionless and then disappeared.

CougRon made a good comment earlier. We might be looking at it the wrong way.
Also I doubt that this achievement can be done in Danger Zone, which is an extra paid level.

Alternate strat: 84k+, I bird, difficulty level= moderate.

Aim Terrance at the closest boulder on the closest planet, but not right at it. You want Terrance to arc down a little to just come in on the left underside of the boulder. This will kill the pigs on the close planet (the second pig is hardest to kill this way, usually, its taken out last) and send the boulder and or Terrance into the top TNT, causing a series of explosions like the video and hopefully kill all remaining pigs.

To be clear, you shoot Terrance over the first planet and let gravity pull him down to hit the left underside of the boulder, shooting it up. You don’t shoot Terrance under the planet, as the word “underside” in my description could have that meaning and I have no better word I wanted to clarify that.

I don’t think this works quite as described. I’ve tried landing on top of the boulder over 200x and get either:

1. T crashing into the right part of the 1st planet, or
2. Bouncing once on the second planet, going OVER the TNT and into the boulder between them.

Every single possible trajectory from 9:00 to 12:00 gives the same two perfectly annoyingly repeatable results. Even punting the boulder with a head-on shot fails. It always breaks before reaching the TNT platform.

I may be misunderstanding something, but I fail to see how one could even hit the ‘underside’ of the boulder without coming up from below the plank it’s sitting on, especially someone as big as Terence. :) Best he can do here is head-on: 9:00.

Only way I got any result with this strat was landing on the upper *right* (2:00) quadrant of the first boulder. Small difference, I know, but way better results.

Try shooting Terrance above first planet, with the goal of bouncing him off the top of that first boulder. As he bounces and enters the pull of the other planet, Terrance should bounce once or twice against the surface at the northern-most point and then set off the TNTs. If all goes well, T-man clears all pigs and you get the top score. I managed to clear all but one piggy with Terrance #1. Number 2 smashed lots of debris on right planet as the level ended. Remember, in Space no one can hear them squeal.. Aloha.

I hit mine right into the first boulder, he kills that pig and he knocks out other boulder which goes DOWN to the very right of first planet and the gravity causes him to hover there just over the pig there on the left of the second planet, them aim second bird at that boulder and pig there and “T” gets pig…boulder and/or “T” flies up to top TNT and the level is history..I did get several one birdies with same first shot and boulder and/or “T” flew up to hit TNT but all my one bird scores were lower than my 2 bird score of 93250.

Sorry @mvnla2 just saw this post my username has a gap in it so didn’t get notified. I’ll have to see if I can get it changed. I’m mighty chuffed with my score!! No1 improved! Basically same start as everyone else. First bird to first boulder,2nd underneath. When I started this morn was having trouble getting near my original 87k but after the usual eye crossing 100 tries it all just happened! Def a case of how much damage both birds can do. Would love to say I could do it again but rather just be happy with my lot!!

Nicely done, @jlz-666. It hadn’t occurred to me that super high scores could be had with two brds. I initially had, 89K (plus change), and did that with one bird weeks ago. Today I couldn’t come close with one bird, and just kept resetting the level until I read your post. Not a huge improvement, but it got me over the 90K hump (and there is certainly room for more points).

@burbman, I just started to play this level and was reading all of the comments. I hadn’t gotten a one birder on this until now- first one was 68k and then 94k. Cue Kenny Loggins!! I think I just got #2 on most improved :).

@mvnla2, I should have mentioned that using that method it took just one bird. The right side was destroyed first, and the debris went to the first planet and got the pig there.

@surfcow I had a lot of fun with your strat. I didn’t realize Terrence wears toe shoes under all those feathers! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to convince him to land on the TNT or score over 85k so decided I needed a new angle. What finally worked for me was going headlong into the first boulder, knocking both boulders into the gravity overlap. I then sent Terrence #2 under the planet directly into one of the boulders in such a way that he knocked the boulder up over/around the planet and into the TNT.
