A sneaky strategy for Danger Zone level 13 is to send the Lazer bird around the top planet, redirecting through the horizontal wooden block in the bottom-right of the main structure. As the structure topples, it will push the linked asteroid into the gravitational field of the top planet. The score in the video below is 101,730.

Again, not really an alternate strategy just a way to pick up a few more points! Same first shot as the video but let the bird fall more toward the bottom right planet. If you time it right you can clip the top of the “mushroom” and pick up 3K extra while still destroying the plank and clearing the level with one bird.

Sometimes you’ll actually just get lucky with the explosion from the tnt sending debris over to the mushroom, thus giving the 3000 points! :)

I got lucky and got the right mushroom with flying debris but haven’t figured out how to get the left mushroom which I’m guessing those with the 110K+ scores did. The conrete square always falls right rather then left.

Actually AA I never have gotten that left mushroom so at least a 113-114K score is possible, not sure how to get it though unless like you said you get lucky with the concrete square.

I got my score without the left mushroom, but with a lot of collateral damage. Only some flying debris that maybe by chance can hit it will make a 115K.

@lesleyg I have gotten the left mushroom not with the stone square but with the top small square wood block after an explosion. If the TNT explodes before that falls down, the splosion can flip it up and over to the left. I think it is more if a red herring to tempt you into trying for it.

@goavs4 Thanks for the tip about the right mushroom and extra points. The score increase over 3k. I wish I could say I actually made the shot but like AA below got lucky with flying debris. Getting the right angle to get the mushroom and hitting the plank just were not part of my skills today. Nice shot goavs4.

I got lucky and some debris took it out. Wonder if the left mushroom has ever been hit would explain high score i guess:) ty again:)

@goavs4 exactly how do you aim for the tip of the mushroom and still clip the wooden slat? I’ve tried but can’t figure out exactly how far down nor at what angle you get LB to do both?
Thankfully I was able to get it by flying debris, but I still am curious how to make this work!! :)

@kimmiecv. It’s a bit difficult to explain but I will try. (plus my work has now blocked my access to ABN so I have to type any response on my phone!). Fire LB at the top of the right planets atmosphere, let LB drift down far, on my iPhone, fully zoomed out, the LB actually briefly leaves the screen to the bottom right before I tap the screen. Put the crosshairs on the tip top of the mushroom, LB should just clip it, then it should continue on drifting toward the stone structure tapping it before falling onto the wooden plank breaking it and starting the chain reaction. Hope that makes sense and good luck!

@goavs4, thankfully I reread your description because I had been placing the crosshairs on the tip of the plank that sticks out of the fortress at an angle where the LB would hit the tip of the mushroom before going on to the plank.

I had been doing it wrong and never scored higher than what I had, the moment I placed the crosshairs on the tip of the mushroom, SHAZZAM, a great high score.

BTW, it didn’t do much damage to the empty structure above, but it did disintegrate everything in the chasm below. I just did it again and it gave me the exact same score again 111680.

Thanks for the tip @goavs4, very helpful! The extra points for me came when the TNT exploded, debris went up to destroy most of the structure on the top planet. Haven’t been able to repeat it, I usually get only minimal damage to that structure.

Aim lazer bird straight for the Top planet above the large asteroid. Before it hits the planet redirect it down to hit the top of the platform grazing the left side of the pig. The platform will collapse inward causing the left tower to push the linked asteroid into the planet and the tnt to explode. Consistently get scores of 102000 and above with this method (82000 plus 2 extra birds). 106350

Followed @melvin53 strat over and over. Consistent scores in 104K – 107K. Had several scores in 108K – 110K I wish I had some tweak to offer, but I don’t.
