Same first shot as video but aim bomb bird lower so that trajectory dots go through top left corner of glass cube. Detonate just before reaching upper glass cube. This creates a much better explosion and sends the stones etc crashing into the structures below. Higher scores to come but that’s how I got my 104,330.

Took a while but got a really good score with this strategy! Just 40 points off top place!!! Only 1 block from taking that trophy … Oh well those who devise excellent high scoring strategies deserve top spot in my book!

Interesting, I completed the missions to unlock this level, but didn’t show on the selection screen, so I had to fail the previous level (hate that sniveling, snortin’ pig!)

I revisited this level beause a was too close to average to my taste (96k). During one hour, I was not able to improve my rather modest score, and suddenly, out of nothing I got this 109k. I was not paying much attention, but I remember for sure that there was some unusual debris activity at the top of the level.

Wonderful score @sglouk! I’ve always wondered if anything would happen on the roof. It’s frustrating that there’s so many boulders yet no way of moving them. Congrats!

New and improved Rat trap.
Instead of the standard two bird strategy, I found a three bird approach with a 120k score potential. I’ve only scored 111k so far because JLZ’s second shot is difficult and infrequently successful. But I’ve had two 118k opportunities thwarted by the middle pig avoiding the debris.

1st shot: Aim at the stones in the lower right corner. This pushes them up next to the middle right pig and the lava chunk.

2nd shot: I use @jlz-666‘s second shot. This is the shot that makes any strategy difficult.

3rd shot: Use Red bird to blow up the lave chunk. Hit it so that a piece of debris destroys the floating pig in the middle.

Sorry about the Sheriff visit future King of Space @sglouk. I couldn’t beat your impossibly awesome score using the two bird strategy. You forced me to come at this a different way. I know you or @burpie will soon have the top score again. I left too much room for improvement. ha ha

Ha ha Oh, you’re good. That didn’t take long @Burpie. Most flingers have trouble with some of my more creative solutions. But not you. Did you notice that the explosion from the second shot can detonate the lava chunk making a two bird completion possible using this approach for around 120k? I almost had it twice.

Finally managed to get above average using the following strategy (the others weren’t working for me):
1) fling first bird almost horizontally so that it speeds through the pig and goes into the lava without losing any speed – I’ve gotten around 28K consistently
2) second bird like everyone else into the upper structure to explode, throw debris everywhere, and kill all the remaining pigs
3) mic drop
4) never doing this level again…lol
