I had some pretty serious destruction with 2nd shot for 138690 3-birder. A few tries later a 2-birder scored a pitiful 118k proving that fewer birds isn’t always the answer.

As you flingers know by now, I like to be different.

1st shot: Similar to the video. Small changes in power and angle will result in higher, or lower, scores.

2nd shot: Hit the lower lava boulder from the bottom and without exploding it push it to the concrete cubes. It will do great damage to the cubes as well as sending a lava chunk to the upper and lower spaceships. Since the boulder is not round, you’ll need to find a spot and angle that works for you.

3rd shot: Not needed. But depending on your score and the distribution of debris, you may want to send Terence through the remaining cubes to any debris piles on the planet for extra points.

Thanks @rat9 for the advice on varying the speed and angle of the 1st shot. I also slowed down LB’s trajectory to accurately redirect him into the asteroid.

Happily I got a decent score, so here’s my video, and I’m moving on!

Two birds. First to lower part of lava boulder, exploding it and setting off rocket. Rocket turned and took out middle pig, lava got upper and lower pigs. Sent second bird above rock over last spaceship (upper left), redirected into rock which pushed whole ship into the planet’s atmosphere. TNT exploded, rockets proved around taking out more debris. Two bonus birds.

@catsnbirds I had decided that hitting the lava boulder first was the way to go, but the few times that I’d tried using the rock to push the remaining ship into the planet didn’t seem to add much and increased the risk that it wouldn’t make it at all. After reading your strategy and seeing your score, I thought it was definitely worth another try, and on the second attempt I got the high score. I always hate beating someone who has helped me, but that is the way we play around here, so I thank you very much.

I’ve posted a screenshot of my score in my album. I knew it was the top, but wasn’t fast enough to get one showing the extent of the destruction. I still think a one-birder is possible if that tank from the pig behind the lava boulder just had enough oomph to not only kill the middle pig, but also push the remaining ship into the planet. It seems to come so close, but no cigar!

@catsnbirds In that same spirit, you might want to look at the strategy I just posted on Level M7-8, not that you really need any help given your almost ratlike (as opposed to godlike) results in every world!

150100 with one bird.

I have been using @catsnbirds strategy, as shown in @comex666 video.

However, it is also possible to get a puppy with 2 birds like this, by pushing the top rock into the spaceship if it didn’t fall after the first bird.

Or with 3 birds like this, if the level of damages was not enough with the first two birds.

Anyway, here is the final result of the one-birder for the Daily Challenge.

And this is the highscore screenshot.

Got 147k with two birds, following @catsnbirds‘s strat. Desired outcome of 1st shot is like this:
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/sglouk/album/picture/26568/

The nose of upper right spaceshi must dock in between rock and undamaged canister ship.

2nd shot at 10:30, and activate so that LB crushes the three pieces of wood before hitting rock. I got 147k in less than 30 minutes, so I guess much higher scores are achievable.

I was able to get a condensed screenshot showing my puppy-worthy score (photo a).
After a few minutes I was able to restart my tablet and get a proper screenshot showing my high score (photo b).
I hope these will suffice for legitimate proof for another puppy.

Also used @catsnbirds strat (thanks!). Had best results by having tracking dots just graze the small protruding part at the base of the asteroid. But lots of rinse and repeat required!

Thanks @sweetp. I think higher scores are very much a pure luck factor. Once the spaceship enters the gravity field and gets pulled into the planet, the destruction seems random, beyond the control of the player. On my last attempt, almost everything on the planet was squished! Almost no debris left.

I revisited the level a few days after Daily Challenge, because it was obvious that some more points were waiting. I got several 151k, one 152k and finally 153k. I used a 2-bird solution as during DC. 1st shot can be improved by having the nose of the spaceship going against big rock, where the upper glass part is destroyed. When you push the rock on the ship nose, the rock no longer pushes the nose but crushes it (but *only* if this glass part is destroyed) and gently reaches other spaceship. This gives an extra 6k. What happens then is hardly predictable, but when stars align, almost everything is destroyed. You berely see what remains on planet on screenshot:
