Thanks @kathy ! I got my score by launching the first bird clockwise through the gravity well. He crashed into the rock which broke into the ship and popped the radioactive crystal. Normally the ship starts to come apart right then, but most of it held together and got dragged into the gravity well as the pigs expanded from radiation poisoning. As the ship got dragged in, the claw snagged the big asteroid, it popped and poisoned the pigs. So far I haven’t been able to repeat the shot.

I think the key here is that the big bubble should break immediately at impact by the rock and not after the spaceship has started to come apart. I’ve only had that happen once and only got 100k, but I can see the potential.

Got lucky. Followed video, ship stayed together, gravity barely caught tip of ship, slowly pulled ship in and broke it apart.

p.s. If the 1-birder doesn’t happen, sending Space Chuck southeast and pushing green boulder into the gravitational field can yield a 112K 2-birder.

@fenikus Nice catch! I managed a 113k 2-birder, but only 102-106k 1-birders, go figure. One of these days I’ll learn that your definition of ‘relatively high success rate’ differs from mine. :)

@fenikus strategy has more hidden potential. My shot was exactly like his video, except the nuclear rock exploded, leaving just enough of the claw attached to the ship for it to catch the grav field. After the ship crashed on the Eastern side of the planet, I was on track for 119k. At the last second, Terence and a few debris chunks caught the grav field and took out all debris that was on the Southern part of the planet.

Based on debris left, I estimate 125-130k could be possible.

I was flinging straight through and up an over but didn’t think about heading south! Great strat @fenikus,thank you. Got 1 birdie 108k,then 112k,now sitting at 116k! Onwards and upwards?;)

@fenikus I got 120k before but today got exactly same happening this time, I mean, white box of big building hit radioactive boulder last. Only different thing was there was live three bloated/alien pigs on the planet. Cleared almost bebris.
