Fired at the little dome thing by the bottom left pig, early split. Lower bird sets off the snow-stroid. 1-birder came when a piece drifted to the small asteroid and a piece of snow then drifted right to set off the other snow-steroid. Finally got that little pig to pop. 86720

@dmsral — Thanks for the excellent strat! Took a few tries, but finally got it (and slightly higher than you)!

@MVNLA2 I used the same strategy as @dsmral but must have had better destruction with this one bird approach. You’ve probably noticed, but for me, I found it important to split so that the upper bird took out the satellite dish to allow the drift for the proper chain reaction.

Just a follow up comment to clear up any confusion about my current posted score. At the time I posted my first comment, I had achieved a score of 102,430 using dmsral’s strat on my old device, which has since died. I’m now replaying Space on my new device and am having trouble getting close to that old score. dmsral’s strat is still the way to go, and I’ll keep trying, but in the meantime, I’m now showing my best score on the new device.

Sometimes after @dmsral first shot if you don’t get the one-birder, a second bird can still produce good results. Usually high eighties, but I got my 97k score with two birds.

@dmsral Very nice strategy. I love how the chain reaction seems to find a way to propagate despite variations in the split timing.

@mvnla2 I spent the last 4 hours trying to find out what that ‘something different’ was. Apparently it’s a 1-birder from using the video’s 2nd shot.

That was an earlier shot that gave me a good score, but I revisited the level & played with different shots. I cannot remember now what I did. Seemed like it was similar to dmsral’s strategy. I went back to the level, but couldn’t remember. I’ll look at it again & see if I can jog my memory.

Shot BB bird into lower left ice block without splitting. I’m sure same method as @dumblnd. I kept shooting until I finally got a one bird. I know I tried many different shots so I believe the one for H.S. I did not hit any of the bluish ice crystals. Straight into the middle of the rock area. Sorry I didn’t realize I scores what I did when it was exploding so I didn’t get a pic of trajectory. But I got the 3 star pic https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/coffeeking/album/picture/10289/

Hello @coffeeking! Nice score! I’m wondering if you might be able to give more specifics regarding “the middle of the rock area”? I’m assuming you’re talking about the paw-looking part of the lower left ice cluster. Do you remember whereabouts you aimed?

Yes it was the lower one. Exactly is hard to remember. I believe it was almost direct center of the bottom Rock. Good luck.

This is a tough one slingers. I’ve lost count on the number of strategies I’ve tried. If I got 90k on one of them I felt I’d accomplished something. My best strategy, and I use the term very loosely, is to shoot at the upper corner of the ice and rock on the lower left icesteroid. Activate a little better than half way. But not too late. You still want the lower blue to hit the lower ice protrusion. This approach seemed to push the lower structure and rock towards the gravity field better than others while still clearing the left side of the main structure. I was able to get a few 90-95k with one bird and/or after pushing the upper asteroid into the icesteroid on the second shot. My high before this posting was a 98k one birder. On my current score of 103340 the lower structure and rock barely succumbed to the gravity field before the game timed out, adding 5k to 98k score.
