Hitting a hair to the right of the video’s 1st shot can give a repeatable 1-birder. So far, they seem to score 4-8k lower than the video’s 2b strategy

1 bird.
Shoot low, just barely clear the 2nd asteroid, and then redirect into the outermost/lowest part of the explosive asteroid. The bird richochets into the structure below, causing damage that gives the explosive asteroid a deeper penetration. The explosion sets of the other asteroid and knocks out all the piggies. More points to be had as my score timed out…

Hard to believe, but I got a top score while just trying for above average. Was trying to duplicate the video strat, but got a 1-birder for 104670! Not sure what was different, but kept varying the angle and aim point for laser bird, since I couldn’t even get above average.

108k with a different approach.
Shot 1: Shoot just over the first ice-asteroid, then reverse and bump it down to the surface (whole).
Shot 2: Don’t activate the blue birds – bump into the boulder to the left of the remaining ice-asteroid, sending that one to the surface, too.

Just saw @burpie‘s strategy post and thought I’d give it a try. It took ten attempts to get a 4k boost and a new high score. That’s a great strategy in my book. :) The only difference on this attempt was all iceteroid chunks stayed in the grav field and exploded against debris. Enough debris remained that 111-115K or more seems possible with some grinding.

@Kathy It is a very tight shot, Zoom all the way in and use very low power. Then trigger Chuck on the right side of the first iceteroid as close to the icy part as you can. On a tiny screen it helps me to hold my hand out like I’m gonna shake someone’s hand, then use the side of my little finger’s fingertip to tap. It’s a much smaller bit of skin, so your aim is more precise, and the little finger lets you see better where you’re tapping. :)

@kelani can you give more details on this strat? I would ask @Burpie but i know he’s on vacation.
I’ve got low over the first icestroid but it keeps drifting to the right, and if I hit any closer I explode it before it enters gravitational field:^ /

@kathy Shot 1 goes just over the first ice-asteroid. After you pass it, do a U-turn. Activate to hit the right side of the first ice-asteroid just below the ice. This should bump the ice-asteroid to the planet. Chuck also crashes to the planet.

Aim shot 2 to hit the top side of the small asteroid to the right. This asteroid gently bumps into the remaining ice-asteroid, sending that one into the gravity field, too.

@burpie Thanks a lot for brillient strat which I can’t imagine. I found better way with 2nd bird based on your strat. If you split BB earlier then you will get more points. The key is most top BB should hit the upper side of round stone.
Spread BB as soon as fling it.

Ok @rat9, I’ll bite. How did your 1-birdie go? Using @burpie‘s strat (and flubbing it), I’ve seen Chuckie come really close to bumping the asteroid into the iceteroid as the 2nd shot would, but so far no go.

Hi @comex666 just wondered if you were ever able to replicate this glitch?It must be pretty rare since nobody else has mentioned it.Tried for a few hours but no joy.My best is 108k using burpie’s strat.
