@kathy sure I play any AB flingin game for the 3* methods videos, but a highscore strat is a whole different ball game, those don’t come within the 8 hours we pushed all the 40+ walkthroughs out ;) But thanks for the compliment! I do like the new Space update, so maybe you will see me back in here!

Same as video. Just one little tip, if the second bubble doesn’t burst (the one not containing the TNT) and the wood break up, you may as well reset immediately because I noticed that the score has never exceeded 70K unless this happened. Good luck all.

@redzym I got over 71k without breaking the second bubble, a few times. My best score was 71,990. But of course my scores would have been better if I had managed to break it. I obtained my current score if 74k by aiming the bird at the front left corner of the blue button – and yes, I did break the second bubble that time. Thanks to all for the tips.

Thanks @bird-addict. Yes, it’s like the heavens see you make a comment then deliberately thwart your intent. Since making the comment I have indeed managed to exceed 70k without breaking second bubble. However, my high score did indeed include the bubble. Thanks for reminding me to update, it was late at night when the +70k happened and I fell asleep then forgot to update this morning.

Get out the micrometer on this one flingers. Shoot a few pixels left of center on the blue button. Nothing new or exciting. SLIGHT reduction in power seemed to help.

Darn it! @rat9, I can’t find my micrometer…once I do, are you sure that isn’t a few ‘micro-pixels’ left of center on the blue button? It is a tiny dot on the planetoid. LOL. Great precision flinging on your part for sure. Thanks for sharing the tip.

I don’t see this posted above, but an alternate strategy is to aim for the bottom planet and bounce into that TNT. Also note that Rovio put a little block on the north side of that planet to aim at. Since that is there, I can only assume that is what they intended for the high scoring method. Pretty good results for me so far with a high of 75,700. And incredibly repeatable.

I recently got a new MacBook Pro, and when I migrated everything over from my old one, it zeroed out all of the scores. So I decided to see if I could improve on my old scores, but without looking at them or here first. I was very surprised when I came to post to find that I had the high score. I’d found the blue button, and got some mid-70k scores. Then I tried shooting through the lower half of the lowest pig. It caused the smaller of the two boulders to detonate the TNT, but not until it had moved far enough to the right so that it caused quite a bit of damage to the wood in the right bubble. It also blew the middle pig and the large boulder in front of it far enough north so that, when a small piece of wood from the first bubble detonated the other TNT, they smashed into the planet along with the northern boulder and pig. I was able to repeat the detonation of the lower TNT this way a number of times, but not to get something to fly up and get the upper one again. I also found that if you aim at the larger of the two lower boulders, sometimes you can get it to detonate the lower TNT, and sometimes red bird will bounce up taking out the lower pig and detonating the upper TNT, but I wasn’t able to do both on the same shot. I was planning to go back and try that some more if my score wasn’t very good, but now I’ll leave that for someone to beat my score.

I was playing around with @snoid ‘s two experimental shots. I had about the same luck with the through the pig shot. It’s pretty hard to get even the bottom TNT to go off. Something setting off the top would be pretty rare.

As far as the second one, into the large lower boulder, I aimed at about 8 o’clock and did get both TNTs to detonate. The top one was set off with a boulder. Unfortunately…..the score was only 69K. It’s an interesting shot because the lower TNT can send the right side wood filled bubble right into the planet where almost all the wood is destroyed, thus racking up lots of points.

Same as the video. Was hoping to find a better method but I’ll just keep flinging to get a decent score above average.
