Year of the Dragon level 1-15 is pretty challenging. One strategy is to fire the Black bird through the rope holding the first lantern, coming to rest next to the banner-covered square. The explosion should clear the entire right side of the level, but the key to earning 3 stars is to break as many golden fish as possible. Use the first Big Brother into the bottom-left structure to finish. The score in the video below is 114,480.

use bb to take out the 1st tower (very front); clean up debris with remaining birds; launch feather where first tower was standing (bb took this out earlier); fyi…the three hanging koi fish to the far right side of the screen need to be destroyed in order to get the feather, at least they did for me (it took me about 30 tries to accomplish this)…happy hunting.

Alternative method is as follows:

1st bird: high arc into first horizontal hanging lights. Explosion can clear all of the right side including the fish.
2nd bird: into front tower to destroy remaining birds.

Pretty sure 120-125k can be obtained this way. (I mucked up my 2nd bird, so only got 118k!) :)

122450 with one bird; bb high arc to take out the end of the 1st long string, did not detonate myself and everything fell (probably some luck).

120240 with E-Star fling with one bird. Got a lucky roll for the lower left pig with the helmet. Now forthe 127K plus(hopefully).

Yippee my 1st top score (not for long tho as there’s a lot of Top names not here yet).
1st bird went high thru the 1st set of horizontal lights – ideally between the right banner and the rock. Landed just to the left of King Pig and destroyed most of the rights side and alot of the left side. all that was left was the lower helmet pig in 1st tower and the normal pig in the middle.
2nd bird into the remains of the 1st tower.
3rd bird into the remains of the middle section.
Hope this helps some of you who have helped me greatly in the past with your great strategies.

Congratulations!
You must have gotten the golden fish points a lot of damage, and a few of the lanterns on the right side. Do you have screen captures? I’ve hit like your description numerous times, one birded it, two birded it, and three birds. All I can score is the 120240 I post elsewhere in these threads.

Thnaks Bill but as predicted I wasn’t there for long – down to 8th now. Top score now over 5k greater – it would be good to know if my method helped get it – i’ve followed many strats here and would be nice to give something back.
Being a 45yr old bloke playing on a ‘hand me down’ ipod touch from my son and a bit of a technophobe, I’ve no idea how to get screen captures – sorry. I’ve got between 120 & 124k again but no more – I think it must have been one of those ‘once in a lifetime’ shots i’ve read about. I do remember the 1st shot nestled to the left of king pig in the small gap to the right of the vertical gold block.

Used all the birds also. Thanks for posting @ccman. Reversed the order of the two big reds. Could not get the one bird solution to work because the left most tower with the two pigs always remained. Did not get lucky with the fireworks with that tower as shown in the videos.

The orange object is a teapot. The ‘yellow’ thing under the tan hat is one of the Golden egg for this episode. See the link just below the video above to see how to obtain the Golden egg.

Ive got to say that the Golden Egg on this level took me by surprise, as I wasn’t expecting it. Found it completely by accident too, as I was far more intent on finding a one bird strategy for this level.

Flung the black bomb bird on a high, tight arc through the middle of the left string of lanterns, and lo and behold, it showed up as obtained. Not that I’m complaining, or anything.

Of course, after reading about the GE, after I obtained, naturally, (don’ need no steenkin’ directions!!), I figured out what happened. I had to have obtained it when the bomb caused debris to ricochet into it. Pretty lucky shot, when you think about it. Doubt I’ll ever be able to reproduce it, but then I got the GE, and that’s all that matters.

That’s how i obtained it as well, if you get the black bird to land just to the right of the stones, it can fling them to the left, and you get the egg :)

First, throw the black bird that it cut the strings and land just beside the pig king. The bomb bird should kill the pig king and some of the others and destroying much of the structure. THe fish I doesn’t care through, then use the first big bird to finish the front stucture and the other big bird to finish the rest fo the pigs. You should get 3 stars by this method.

Was close to a good score, but….. Anyway, I do have one thing to add. Wait to fling until the golden fish have swung to the far right. It certainly doesn’t guarantee you get them, but I think it increases the chances.
