Wreck the Halls level 8 is a difficult level with a large amount of variation. Our strategy is to loft the White bird into the snow block holding the TNT at the top of the level. Do NOT trigger the ability of the White bird; rather, let him pass straight through the block. The resulting damage is a bit inconsistent, but if pigs still remain, use the Orange bird as necessary. The score in the video below is 206,830.

You can one bird the level by tossing Matilda just right and not dropping the egg and just let her clip the snow piece under the top TNT

Did the same, just like the ABN video for this level. Fun level to play. Tried the high arc lob and low arc lob, both were about equal with the results of a one bird solution.
