Angry Birds Seasons Winter Wonderham level 1-3 was first available on Monday, December 3rd, 2012. Loft the Pink bird into the small nook in the top-right structure, sending debris hurling across the level. As needed, use two Yellow birds to destroy what remains of the main tower on the left. The score in the video below is 102,170.
Bonus! Our Winter Wonderham level 1-3 Mighty Eagle walkthrough is live as well!
Alternatively, fire the Pink bird straight ahead into the left structure, just above the hollow wooden square. This can cause the entire structure to slip on the ice, falling to the ground. Finish by blasting the triangle in the corner of the top-right structure. The score in the video below is 110,400.
First bird between two triangle roofs on the right hill to lift stones. This should take out entire right side, and a present too. Yellow bird low through base of first tower, below vertical stone blocks.
Same strategy as @zwozdan007…110,540…really easy level today!
One birder is possible, but so far, score can’t go over 107k. Too much debris left….
110750 one birder…
So one birder doesn’t pay any effort. score is about 5k lower then two birds scores.
After lots of effort and scores of 112400, 113520, 114310, 115370 finally made 119120 with one bird.
@!zwizdan007 care to share how the one – birder was made, i must be missing the strat amongst comments, sorry slow phone ..ty;)
I walk from 90K to 104, 108 and 110K with 1B. Without the help of the film, but higher described way.
Little aspect for this strat: when throwing our pink frind, you should take with him the three large stones. When they drop they create a lot of damage.
@zwizdan007 has it right, but if you land the Pink Bird exactly on the top stone, they will be lifted to destroy the left building too: ONE Bird Solution.
First score: 104,770 … 3-star is at 90,000
Best score with two birds: 111,850
Pink bird to bottom of far left brick [manual click] will topple left structure. Yellow bird takes out triangle wood support for hanging ball … everything falls.
@westmiller. I just tried your method and scored 118,200!! Thank you! Best strategy yet!
1st bird- To the first tower’s front wooden planks little below the square wooden block and activate there causing the whole tower to destroy.
2nd Bird- To the support which carries the stone with the rope attached.
@iamMighty that’s what I did as well, I let her crash first dislodging things then activated her causing some of the first structure to fly right and some to slide off the ice causing great destruction, between 30 and 40+k.
2nd bird to the top support. So far this has gotten me 112k+.
Ha much easier than the last level!! :)
Just pulled 116k+ with this method, only a couple pieces of wood and 2 bricks were left, so maybe a 1 birdie for better scores? I tried to put the first bird in the little nitch on the very top structure between the stones to see if that would cause a 1 birdie but I wasn’t able to pull it off, the bricks wouldn’t fall right, maybe someone with more skill can get it to work!
Nice score @kimmiecv! I too got 116k with this and I see it can go upto 118k or more. Debris is the key here.
Niiicccee @iamMighty :) I agree and I’m betting there will be someone who comes up with a 1 birdie eh! Well I’m off for my pillow walk, can’t wait to see what strats come up when I open my eyes!! ;D
Great shooting @kimmiecv! The strat I first used when I opened the game this morning was Stella into the little stack of bricks on the right. I did manage a one birdie but very low score, just not enough damage. The piggies died but most of the structure remained. You can get a good 109k score with this method when you get the chance to fire yellow into the wood at the bottom of the left structure but ultimately I found the higher scores came from the strat we’re all using. I’m up to 115k but can see more. Would love to see a high one birdie from someone tho;)!
I guess that one bird solution is possible if triangle piece hit joint between bottom horizontal piece and vertical piece. Anyway, you have pretty nice score.
@kimmiecv @jlz-666 great minds think alike ladies! I had a pretty low-scoring 1- bird this way too, although the potential is there for a lot more points if the 1st structure gets more damage. Nice to see a more straight-forward level after the 1st two, at least it seems that way to me. :)
Hi @karen68 yeah, isn’t it interesting that we automatically went for the harder option? LOL! Just have to make life more complicated for ourselves;) I see @iammighty & @burbman have done it though so I’m going to keep at it as can’t seem to get over 115k with the other method. GL :)
@jlz-666 I’m at 116k using 2 birds, had very little debris left; so far my top score with 1 bird is 114k but lots more points available so I’m going to keep trying.
Is it good or bad that we go for the tough option first? A sign of a truly dedicated flinger or a sadly obsessed one? Good luck :)
@karen68 I would say we’re a healthy combo of the two:) I’ve no idea which one I was when I finally got my highest score though! Like you my highest up till that point was with 2 birds but eventually got it with 1. I’ve got to walk away now as I can’t ignore the burning smells coming from the kitchen any longer LOL! GL & keep at it :)
@iammighty your strat worked for me for 112k, thanks!!
LOL @JLZ-666 and @karen68 I tried the top first thing too, turns out we were correct just needed the right angle! What can we say except we maybe play AB like fiends!! Hahaa I tried far too late last night and finally had to succomb to sleep! I knew it’d be worked out by the time I got up!! Now to conquer it myself!! Congrats to you both on great scores!! :D
@kimmiecv you’ll be above us all both by morning babes!! I guarantee it!! GL x
Increased drastically to 120k after a few minutes of trying this strategy. Thanks for the great method @iammighty! :D
115110 first bird at bottom left square and activate immediately. Second at triangle and horizontal wood that bolder is hanging on. Possibility for more points but that’s all I have so far.
Can’t get better than 114,380 with two birds … maybe tomorrow.
Keep trying!!! :) I’m having a hard time improving too.
115580… 2 birds… 1st to middle of left structure, should be able to get it all to fall. 2nd bird to triangle holding up the right structure. There was still some debris left so there’s a better score for sure.
This is what’s working for me – 110k so far
This is what’s working for me – 111,690 with neat everything gone.
Can’t see how to improve it to be honest without a one birder with big destruction
This is what I did. 114,580.
Pink bird stright into left building let it hit then tap screen left structure will colapse killing all pigs second shot yellow bird into triangle wood holding upper structure will colapse killing the last pigs and the pressent score around the 110700 mark
112,630 utilizing the strategy described by @iammighty and others. Regarding the possibility of more points, well, if you’ve achieved enough damage to realize a score in the mid 90k range, before count-up, you might want to consider the tossing of another bird carefully, as you will likely NOT achieve enough points, imo, from the remaining debris to make it worth the bonus points you are tossing away in launching another bird.
A broader point for the Nest at large: you all realize what’s happening with this rather easy level, do you not? Rovio is perhaps trying to lull us into a false sense of security. Thus, I predict tomorrow’s level to be one of devilish difficulty. :-)
Or they knew most of us had to work since it’s Monday…
113,090 – after a few tries and has improved my score from 95k, a pretty easy level with 2 birds.
use the pink one to lift up the first tower with wood only and this should pretty much clear the whole left tower; then the yellow bird hit the little triangular wood against the cliff …. there u go, this shld pretty much clear almost everything ….. the score can go a bit higher still …
113,210 with strategy as mentioned – first bird to nearest tower and second bird to top tower. Am trying to get a one birder but looking near impossible unless I can do a miracle shot!
Now got 115,970 but the one birder is proving elusive.
Slim can the screens be set up so that we can enter our scores once the game is available but before the videos are loaded. ????
I’ll ask BirdLeader. The levels release at a poor time here in the US, so its a bit challenging for us.
Gee, call yourselves dedicated? Can’t even be bothered to put the walkthroughs up at 3am or whatever time it is over there! ;-)
(Lucky for us in the UK that the levels unlock at 8am, perfect for the commute to work.)
What is fun with this Advent style of unlocking levels one level a day is that you never know if you have decent high score or not. My first score was 107k, next play 112820. I am waiting to see other players scores and I am really corious how other made this.
Enjoy lovely Advent days, cheers!
The most consistent method I have found is to launch the bubblegum bird into the left hand edge of the horizontal beam at bottom left so it pushes the left hand leg of the tower away, without triggering the bubbles (as the bubbles tend to hold up the fall of the tower and result in less damage). Hopefully the bird has bounced away to the left by the time the bubbles trigger automatically.
Then take out the wooden triangle supporting the top structure. It is a fairly foolproof method but scores vary between about 105k and 112k. Best 112m590 so far.
Have improved my two-bird score to 115k+ by aiming first pink bird just above the left-hand square in the main tower. Wait for the top section to topple to the right before activating, this way the bubbles will be able to lift the stone block below and drop it to cause more damage. Second bird as before through the triangle.
http://youtu.be/nbhTiSIODL0 Score 112,710!
Just got a 117,910 one birder. Managed to get the whole of the top platform to topple down in one piece-took everything out.
Score 109330 take the 1st shot in the lower area. Knocking the top part and then bubbles lift the rest and knocks it all down then with the 2nd shot at the hill just below the building. Break the piece angled in the corner and it all topples down.
Just got a score of 119k with a one-birdie. It has to do with the top platform to topple causing destruction down too.
1st Pink Bird- To the top platform. Notice the two triangles. Launch Pink in such a way such that the right-most top triangle is touched on the left corner of the wooden triangle by the bird. This is should cause the stone blocks to travel to the left and causing destruction to the left tower too.
It will take a few tries to achieve this but I hope someone will overcome my score. Happy flinging!
Agreed this is the way I attacked it as well. Bottom left corner of right triangle. Allows pink to lift up both counterbalance stones and deposit them down below. 117k with one bird so far.
@iammighty @burbman I was just commenting above that although I had gotten a 1 birdie,it had given me a very low score but great to see it can be done:) thanks for the tip about the right triangle. I still can’t seem to get the stone blocks to fly far enough over to the left but I’ll keep at it :)
@jlz-666 Keep at it. Atleast 2 of the stone blocks should land on the left tower for good destruction. Good luck!
Thank you @iammighty I’m sooo close! I’m also meant to be cooking for the Christmas hols but that’s taken a back seat surprise surprise LOL!
Finally got it @iammighty! Could do better but I’ll walk away happy……for the moment;) thanks again.
You truly are mighty oh @iammighty! The “left side frontal approach” shot got me about 116k with almost 100% destruction. It is clear that you need a one-birdie to get a high score and this is the way to do it.
Thanks @iamMighty! I tried this approach early and actually had a 1-birder but only with sub-110k score, so I abandoned it in favour of the head on approach. I’m glad I went back! 120k.
@f91jsw Nice score! So 120k is possible.
Thank you ever so much for your great details. I was trying but not quite getting this strat. Then I read thru the comments on it, and your details showed me where I had been gong wrong. Some fine tuning and I had it working. A few successful pulls of all the top stones later: 120,950. Thanks!! So fun seeing the stones fly, and then drop to devastate everything.
Some observations: it seems best to fling high and let the bird come down a bit from above on the corner of the triangle. That’s the only thing you can control, but for a successful shot the following should happen: to the left of the wooden square there is a short piece of wood which rests on a small stone and a longer wooden beam. When the bird hits the triangle, the long wooden beam will move right and drag the short wooden beam with it, and topple the stone.
Now, usually what happens is that the bird will hit the short wooden beam while it still is in a horizontal position, and this will prevent the bird from going further down. But sometimes the short beam will slip off the long beam just before the bird comes down and allow the bird to go on down to the right edge of the upper of the two long stones. That’s where you want it when it releases the bubbles.
@iammighty and @f91jsw I have been working with your star, which was my original approach. I can’t seem to get the destruction you are. It’s been 113k. :(
@iammighty and @f91jsw thank you for your detailed posts!! Still some debris left fo snag…
This improved me quite a bit. Don’t remember the original score, but think it was 108K or so. Up to 118950 now. Thank you!
Managed 121,740 after ~20min using your strategy. Thanks for the great description. After pushing the top right triangle to the right the pink bird picked up every block and deposited them on the left tower. Stone ball fell onto present.
thanks for this @iammighty ! I had been trying by hitting the low spot up there with out much success. I now have the second highest score.
An observation I made while flinging endlessly is that to get the best possible one bird score, that whole top right structure needs to rotate left intact as much as possible. This will prevent separation of the stones and scattered impacts. As it rotates left it will stay low and slam into the right side of the left structure demolishing it.
Winter Wonderham is setting up to be the most difficult precision shot series yet IMHO. especially with the least controllable birds first out of the block. I don’t much care for the bubble bird and it has now reached bottom of my list below fat mama and the boomerang. They could at least make so that a second tap pops all the bubbles to add better control.
Any way I used my favorite low star next to the post and pinch and zoomed till it was positioned just above the waiting YB’s head. this lines up so that bubbles tail feathers cross over the bight white part giving a bit more precision in aiming. the best shots for me came when the lowest feather of the three just touched the top part of this star. bubbles then glances off the corner of the wooden triangle and travels downward and right. the best likelihood of rotating the platform intact is when she makes it near the bottom and farthest right so the bubbles can pick up the rightmost bottom wooden plank. this will rotate everything as whole as possible.
AS you all can imagine it is *NOT* consistently repeatable but once you can get the aiming point dialed in, much more repeatable than you would think. I had consistent scores above 117K till I got it right.
For anyone else having difficulty with this one, consider changing the zoom level. On my Android phone, fully zoomed out, there was exactly one pixel that caused the bird to pick up all four stones. The problem was that on this one-pixel-wide shot, the stone blocks flew in exactly the same way every time – and the way they fell was always in such a way (onto the top of the lower structure) that a one-birder was impossible. With a closer zoom (which can be fully zoomed in, but doesn’t need to be), you get more than one pixel that works, and at least one of those pixels can give you a one-birder.
Frustratingly, though, I still haven’t gotten a good one-bird score. They’ve all been between 108k and 116k, the latter of which is barely even better than my best two-birder. The structure just refuses to collapse properly. Oh, well… more flinging is probably the only solution.
Used the same strategy, thanks for posting @iammighty. The tip on where to hit was good but my results were not consistent, probably due to my poor aiming. When pink bird drops all the way down to pick up all the stones it produced the present score. Destruction on the left side appears to be due to luck but the points are there.
i think a golden egg shall be in the next level 4 because it has a harbin city label on it
In the description of the second video walkthrough the score is written as 110,140 whereas in the actual video, the score is 110,400.
Thanks, it’s has been fixed.
Mine was a 2-Birder, obtained before reading or viewing the walkthrough, from what I have read here, the method I used is similar to Iammighty’s and higher scores are a definite possibility.
It’s so much easier to take out the left structure first but if you’re looking for a high score, you need minimum of 40k from this side so aim pink bird low & manually detonate – my best is 44k to end up with 116,390 – if you don’t get the pesky little Santa hat piggie on the left, don’t worry but try to have at least 36k, and just aim yellow bird into the triangle support on the right without breaking the top beam & all the debris will fall across & destroy everything else left including present & hopefully giving you 90k+….I only had 3 small pieces of wood left so not sure how much more is possible – 1 birder didn’t do enough damage to get a high score – agree that we’re being lulled into a false sense of security!!
Sorry again, I did not read all the comments tonight, running on empty here and soon my pillow is calling me. But I wanted to give my input for all you birdies out there with a nice flinging evening to look forward to.
I shot pink bird to the top right structure making the right side of that structure collaps a little, making the way clear for Pink Bird to collect all the stone and wood on the top structure. She moved it to the left on to the tower and all the piggies below. Got me a one birdie and 119130 :)
Here is my video
Thanks for the video. I’m still working on getting beyond 118K. And welcome back. It seems a long time since you have posted.
OK< I found my shot spot to duplicate your video and made it to 120140. There's more, but I'm satisfied for now.
Now back to level 2 to find a shot spot there.
Thanks again for the great video!
It does doesn’t it, but as a matter of fact, I have been posting videos thru out the year for all updates of Seasons, but waited for a couple of weeks to get a good view of the topscores out there. In the first few weeks the leaderboard changes so much, when I do my videos in the early days of an update I need to go back sooner than I can. But ofcourse for the Advent I want to join the fun of the everyday fling and skipped my usual plan. ;)
Nice score by the way!
I love your videos. I just wish I could repeat them! :-)
I should say how easy this level is to get a good score, but I would be lying. If anyone else has the same problem I do turning these details strats and @e-stars video into a high score, I hope these comments might help. BTW e-stars video is the @IamMighty strat, and I found @f91jsw‘s comments to help, as usual. If you don’t like wordy strats, stop reading now.
I play on an iPad, as does e-star, and her video shows a higher score than mine, but I found it easier to aim slightly differently. I play zoomed all the way in with a stylus.
1) There are lots of trajectories that will satisfy f91jws’s suggestion to hit the lower left corner of the upper right triangle from above. In fact, pulling the slingshot back with a stylus positioned anywhere along the left edge of the screen from those 2 white flecks of snow to almost the top of the white snow band below the platform will get the pink bird where f91jsw and others say.
2) There is a bright 5-pointed star slightly to the left and above the left tower. A little higher up and further to the left is another bright 5-pointed star; this second star is one reference point. Just slightly above and to the right of a line drawn between the 2 five-pointed starts is a medium bright star, which is the second reference point.
3) Zoomed all the way in, the trajectory should almost go through the 5-pointed star, but be slightly lower. (E-stars’ trajectory is slightly lower than mine. Zoomed all the way out, the trajectory should be even closer to going through the second reference star. This trajectory is closer to the highest that will still hit the top of the triangle than to the lowest.
I should have added that your aim point needs to be pixel-perfect to get above say 115 K.
I really wish we could edit these posts, so I could correct all the grammatical errors.
Thanx E-Star! Used the same spot and after 2 days, got 123850!
Has anyone noticed that the triangular caps and the short flat board all of a sudden take a notion to pop up? I was shooting the pink bird toward the upper right one, and it popped up about 2 inches and landed in between.
This is another level where the right side expands upon resets.
Makes me think Rovio simply threw things together for a holiday episode.
I got my score aiming into the lower corner of the left tower, if you get it right it will move the short lower vertical causing the tower to collapse completely then yellow bird through string into triangle on upper slope this will take out lge pig and gift as well as the top platform clearing everything. Having said that I am having a lot of fun trying out @estar strategy, the video is, as always, a great help
The score I got with this method was 117000 started putting into practice @iammighty and @f91jsw strat combined with @estar video to get present score -thank you for sharing info
Finally got over 21000, found @f91jsw suggestion of coming in from above left triangle did the trick. If you get the right angle the structure collapses to the right with the pink bird riding it down, let it self detonate and it (if your lucky) will pick up the whole bottom horizontal tumbling everything to the left collapsing the left structure. It is essential that you take out the gift situated bottom right hand corner. Such great community spirit here with all the tips and advice. Would like to extend season’s greetings to all in the angry bird family, you have given me many hours of enjoyment and far too many late nights lol.
Started the weekend with my first top-score in the WinterWonderham episode. 1-bird lob into the far right structure as you described. PB picked up all the stone blocks and threw this solid group to the left tearing down most of the construction. Additionally, the stone ball did a good job taking out the parcel and some wood planks. Lucky shot after many tries – enjoy the Christmas season.
The three strats I tried many, many times, @iammighty‘s, e-star’s and the second video, all gave me about the same score, 114 +. I’ve been able to repeat it several times on each strat, but I haven’t been able to improve my 114+ score on any of them. Kind of frustrating when you see all those 120+ scores. I think I’m doomed to be a low-baller.
For clarity, that would be @iammighty‘s first strat where the pink bird attacks the lower left vertical support causing a complete collapse and a second shot to take out the upper right structure. Iammighty’s second strat and @e-star‘s stat are essentially the same: a 1-birder attacking the upper right structure, lifting it to the left to destroy the lower structures.
I didn’t realize iammighty had 2 strats posted.
118k/1 I wasn’t getting on very well with iPad on this. The aim point is difficult to maintain. I’ve just moved to Bluestacks on Win10 and within 10 mins had 118k. I’m hoping for more of course. Happy to share the coordinates- x=23.7 y=63.22 and just keep flinging. Good luck maybe someone will get a puppy.
