Angry Birds Seasons Winter Wonderham level 1-14 was first available on Friday, December 14th, 2012. Fling yellow bird towards the first three horizontal snow blocks to clear the left side of the level. Then send the second bird towards the snow block holding the boulders to destroy the remaining pigs below. The score in the video below is 89,990.
Bonus! Our Winter Wonderham level 1-14 Mighty Eagle walkthrough is live as well!
Alternatively, send the yellow bird on a high arc through the large square snow block. It should slice through and destroy most of the pigs on the left and the gift boxes. In our video, we had to use a second bird to clear a “non-cooperative” pig. But with a little persistence, the left side can be cleared with the first shot. Finally, send yellow towards the boulders to clear the level. The score in the video below is 94,540.
1st bird towards the leftmost snow blocks.
2nd bird towards the snow blocks holding boulders.
Score : 83.940 = 3*
I sent the first yellow on a high arc, slicing diagonally through the square snow block on the left side of the middle part of the structure. The bird sliced all the way down to get the gifts, as well as the pigs. The second bird I flung to break the small snow square holding the rocks up on the upper right side. The third bird I sent up at about 50 degress or so, so it would plow through the structure on the lower right side.
My 3-star score now stands at 84,600.
Hey @TruckDriver, Where you been Haulin’, well, once again we find ourselves faced with a very perplexing level where pinpoint accuracy and lots of resets are tantamount to a decent score, the inherent problem with this level lies in that there’s no logical way to obtain the 2 gifts below the blue one, without sacrificing the final tally, thus we are left with only 1 alternative to purloin the 2 remaining gifts, pure dumb old lady luck. May the spirits of Christmas be with us in attaining our goals.
@werewolf69, Why I’ve been criss-crossing the SW US, and been pretty busy, as the pre-Xmas period is our busiest time, thus, after driving all day, I’ve been fairly tired, so I haven’t been doing much else.
Perplexing? I’m not certain of that, as I spent less than 5 minutes getting the 3 stars, then another 5 or so posting up my strat, and some (removed) 3-star threshold observations. What’s going to eat up some time is the struggle to gain a few thousand more points to get above the average. Actually, getting the feather for this level took longer than that, but that’s just me. Perhaps a few milliseconds of genius came through shortly after midnight.
@TruckDriver, The way you’re gathering those feathers, you’ll soon have enough for a Sioux Chieftain War Party Headdress.
I thought this level would be a piece of cake. Aside from looking easy, my first shot, the high arc, netted the presents and all the left side pigs. Problem is, I whiffed on shots 2 and 3. It was almost an hour later before I was able to repeat the first shot and while I freed the boulder, it bounce harmlessly off the structure. I was able to clear it, but with a low score. I finally managed a 3-bird clear with a 3-star score of 84,560. The second shot was harder than the first.
The boulders not taking out the pigs happened too many times to make me even want to go for the average score.
This is a cruel and heartless level. Another one for my hate list.
I despise this level! For the reasons ohforfive noted, and more. The narrowness of the 3 snow blocks you have to hit, and then you have to send the yellow bird slighty up into blocks that are straight… I have gotten the ridiculous score of 67,000 while killing all the pigs with 2 birds! I have taken out all 6 bottom pigs with the first bird (twice!), only to miss the boulders after that. It’s just evil.
Basically used the same strategy as @truckdriver, thanks for posting. Had to use three birds with the last one going to the right structure to get the remaining pig.
Same strategy here. That first bird, I went horizontal at those left snow blocks to clear them, making the bell tower drop. Scored 86660, still trying for more.
Lucky right tower collapse crushed 2 gifts: 93720.
Same strat: First Yellow Bird through *all three* supporting horizontal snow blocks in left building, through to weaken or clear building at right.
Second bird takes a long-shot to tiny snow block holding boulders on cliff. Clears pig at right and remainder of pigs in right building.
3 Star – 84,270
High score “wasting” the second Yellow bird with straight up shot through presents: +12,000 pts vs bird 10,000 pts
3 Star – 87,510
Very similar for me. Straight shot through supporting snow blocks. Then high shot to get presents. Then long shot for the boulders. Scored 89,830.
I think this strategy works best if you can manage to clear all but the high pig under the boulders with the first shot.
The secret to high score is that you need to clear those snow and at least one present in that 1st shot, then wrap up everything with that 2nd shot.
91040…Clear out the snow under the bell tower, then release the stones to clear the rest of the piggies.
Thanks @mwryum! I finally 3-starred this level!
Score: 86090. Figured out the strat before I saw the post. The straight shot through the horizontal snow blocks will even take out the two pigs in the structure on the lower right side. All that’s left it taking out the pig below the rocks.
I got my score with this method too @truckdriver!
WTG!!! You’re out ahead of me…. For now…..
I used 1st bird to knock snow down in the front went all the way to the wall.
I used 2nd bird to knock rocks down.
90200 and 3 stars
Used this strat as well. I find this level the hardest until now. Extremely tough
Second video gives a normal score, though still need 3 birds
90850 2 yellow birds: one through the snow blocks holding the bell structure and another into the tiny snow square stopping the bolders.
There only seems to be one good strategy here, but let me offer a tip for the second bird. You don’t have to try to aim right at the snow block: if you hit the boulders, or even if the yellow bird hits the slope above and slides back down, it will still knock them over the edge. I haven’t figured out if it has an effect on the score, but it should help relieve some headaches.
Not working for me.
I was very surprised to read this comment, as just hitting the boulders or the slope never works on my device (iOS). The *only* way I can get the boulders to fall is by destroying the snow block, either with a direct hit or ricochet.
It looks like I was too hasty in implying that it was reliable. When I made the comment, I had made the boulders fall three separate times within just a few shots. But I think I must have been lucky; I’ve only gotten them down twice more this way. One was on a direct hit to the large boulder, and the other was to the small rock stacked directly on top of it (which moved it out of the way, and the yellow bird then rolled back down the slope to push it all down). It’s much better to aim at the snow block, but you do want to err toward aiming too high, because a miss may be productive on occasion.
I’ve knocked them all down by hitting the big boulder or rolling down the hill too, but it doesn’t always work. The first time I did it, it caused a lot more destruction than by hitting the snow block.
I think there are two viable strategies, the ones posted by @hidayat1999 and @truckdriver. One have given me 85k and the other 86k. Too soon to say which is better.
With @truckdriver‘s strategy, I prefer to shoot down the boulders first. It’s just too annoying when you miss that shot after good destruction of the left structure and presents.
I’m now pretty convinced that @hidayat1999‘s strategy is easier. First I tried to get a really flat trajectory (accelerate immediately after release) to take out the three snow blocks and hit the right tower with the same shot. But, as suggested by @mwryum, it is better to come in a bit from above and get that top present. Fairly consistent 86k-90k scores.
However, I think @truckdriver‘s strategy has the potential for higher scores, especially if you manage to make it a two-birder. The problem is that is relies on two fairly lucky shots.
@f91jsw I just added an alternative using truckdriver’s strategy.
Confirmed, @austinrhl. Don’t do it on purpose though cause it’s too much luck related. Just so we know it doesn’t have to be right on the small snow block. Another tip if i may, avoid hitting the sleigh bell at any cost as doing this will hinder Yellow’s speed and thus penetration power significantly. This might be a useful thought on second Yellow in a 3-birder strat(low-arcing first shot, high-arcing second for the gifts, obvious third)… :)
It’s my birthday today, wish me a high score :)

happy Birdday @fatboyslick!
Wishing @fatboyslick for a great score. And above all greatest scores, a very Happy Birdday… ;)
@fatboyslick – Happy B’day from another Sagittarian! Good shooting!
HaPpY HiGh ScOrIN BiRdDaY 2U fatboyslick! : )
Happy Birthday hope your high score wish comes true @fatboyslick
Oooh Yeay Happy Birthday @fatboyslick!! May your wish of a high score come true!! :)
Thank you everyone
Alt 3-Bird strategy: Yellow Bird nearly straight up, click to cut through square snow block, Santa pig, and red package at bottom. Luck will get the other two packages (3000 pts each) to fall and break.
Second Bird on high arc to tiny snow block holding boulders: only way to take out pig at right.
If necessary, third Bird through remaining horizontal snow blocks to finish any remaining pigs.
3 Star – 84,600
High-arcing first Yellow a la @truckdriver yields more consistent results (and much easier too) than firing almost horizontally through all those floating snow blocks. But (yeah, there’s a “but”) success in cutting through to the left-most structure with 2 pigs within will give much more overall points. By doing that, said structure’s “roof” will be lower at the left side (due to its left “wall” had been cut short by 1 or 2 blocks). We’re making a SLOPE for the incoming huge boulder and its smaller friends, guys! Come on… :D
It’s the RIGHT-most structure, not left. I must blame the time for that mistake… :(
Pretty reliable but irritating (that’s why we love it) way to 3*.
1 – Flat-ish taking out snow blocks and through to damage pigs on right.
2 – High arc and down to destroy presents, no pigs.
3 – Knock out the snow block to release rocks to finish off right hand side.
Three different trajectories and release points just to make it interesting !
Can’t seem to crack this one. Taken ages to get to this score, doesn’t even register on challenge page – I’ll just have to admit defeat.
Ooh @windwalker you did better than me..nice try..:( well be back someday..
I think there’s potential here with this 3-bird method. I’m going to work on it for a bit and we’ll see what happens.
As a side-note, I’m saddened by how many who had posted to this level have not been active in the Nest for so long now. @truckdriver , @furfeather , @hidayat1999 , and @jshfire to name a few ~ and I really miss my ABN buddy @Kelani . I hope all are well…….
88k + change at the moment, there is more there this way but I’m sure a 2 shot stategy will yield higher scores but it will need a fair bit of luck.
It’s a bit late for flinging frenzies, @jshfire… :p
It’s not where I am :)
Oh, right… :D Nice strat anyway… ;)
88170 for me
First bird flew through the snow and also the far right structure leaving only the top rock piggy and the presents
Second bird brought the rocks down, killed the pig and the big boulder landed on the blue present….very close to breaking through to the others
This is the best strategy so far I have had success with
It look so it’s 3B level (mayby even 4B for clearing all staff). Best 2B for me was 82.660. Scored 87.650 and after long time 87.530 / 3B up to now. Repetable level for me is 80-87K.
Alternative 2-birder. score 91080.
1st yellow bird on a high arc through the square snow block to the right of the hollow wood square. If you get it right it takes out the 4 piggies and all the parcels for just over 40k.
2nd bird takes out the snow block releasing the boulders. You need the boulders to fall down the back of the piggies house, pushing it over and flattening the piggies.
YES, YES. YES @andyjbeckett. That is solution. I catch fast 90.840. I was trying to do this brfore but timely forgive it :).
Seems to also work in reverse order. Multiple times 88-90 this way
Yeah-I did it in reverse as I kept missing the rock stop-or they failed to flatten the pig pen- so I kept shooting until this was achieved and high arced the second bird for max pigs and presents. 93,790
Same method as jshfire, have now got score up to 92,420.
3 birds 92890
1st bird- high arc to snow block right of first wooden square. Need to destroy all gifts for best score possible.
2nd bird – straight ahead to building on right
3rd bird – take out snow block to release boulder.
I used 3 yellows, so I could add points for more destruction and the 3 presents. Scored 92100 by playing first bird as published but for the 2nd yellow I made a long upward arch and angled down into/just before the area with the presents. 3rd bird same as published. It’s ok to leave top left piggy in the tower and nick the tower with the second yellow.
98120
Using andyjbeckett strat, have yellows beak just touching catapult, accelerate on way back down to take out bottom present with others to follow. I hit 47k off first bird, second yellow to take out stone support, fall down to take out remaining pigs. Took me all day, finally I can relax. Bring on the 15th.
Have a little patience on this one – using Truckdriver’s strategy I finally got a great 1st shot, I got the boulders to come crashing down with the 2nd but the right structure didn’t immediately fall. It was nudged a bit & I was about to reset when I saw a bit of movement, it ended up collapsing after about 20 seconds.
I agree with others, this strat seems to yield higher scores but it’s more difficult to string the 2 perfect shots together.
I have a lot of great first shoots. Next steps were not so easy but I’m petient. @karen68 – yes, this small stones can roll VERY long if they have such possibility. Very interesting feature.
I nominate this for the hardest level to 3 star so far, and I hope in all of WW. The only hope I can see for above average is if more people currently below average post their scores. Arrrrggggh!
1st bird (yellow): Same as @truckdriver. The leftmost pig resists.
2nd bird (yellow): It is the right tower that irritates me – every time I release the boulders the right tower never gives in, wasting me another two birds or even the game. So I decided to launch a straight glide into the right tower. Happened to clip the leftmost pig as well.
3rd bird (yellow): Released the boulders to kill the upper right pig, as usual.
4th bird (green): 10k.
Score: 89,680, 3 stars with loads of moan. I could have nailed it much earlier!
Same as the second video on top (high lob on the first bird taking the present and the piggies on the left, second to to release the boulders on the right), but with 2 birds. I see the score with 3 can be higher, so I might need to return onces more :D
I got 92830.
Here is my video.
Bird 1: high arc through the square snow block, the Santa hat pig, the horizontal wooden plank and the red present. Hopefully everything on the right side of the middle part will fall into the now empty ice pit.
Bird 2: lowish trajectory through the snow blocks on the left, the empty wood square will fall on the head on the leftmost pig, and the bird will go through the debris and into the bottom of the right structure killing the two pigs.
Bird 3: into the tiny snow block supporting the boulders which should crash down into the remaining debris and kill the remaining pig
Bird 4: 10k
My best so far 94k+ I think there’s plenty of scope for extra points
Just scored 98,050 following the second video/E-star method.( Thanks @e-star, I always ‘like’ your videos )
The first bird cleared most of the left side when the lower left pig, & the wood under him, slid down to the left, off the ice platform. Second bird released boulders onto right side structure which, for a change, completely collapsed. Only a few pieces of wood & the little bell in the center were still present. Had 2 birds left over.
Happy flinging !!
Nice score @meanguy and thank for the likes! You are not living up to your name, way too nice to be a meanguy LOL ;)
@e-star, Thank you!! I’ve never really tried to live up (down?) to the name. I got it when I worked the door of a nightclub, just outside of Chicago, many years ago. It was the ‘nicest’ thing I was called by those who didn’t get in. After a while, many people started to believe it was my actual name. Now, it just evokes memories of days gone by.
WwwwwwHhhhhiiiiinnnnneeee!!! Back at this one, is gotten harder than it was too begin with, if that’s possible? Taking the high shot , down through the snow into the wood covering the red present! Well Trying to do that, that wood has been reinforced over the last 4 or 5 years , maybe it’s idk , petrified? It’s hard as a rock now and will not break!!
@kathy I’ll add my WwwwwwHhhhIIIInnnnnneeeeee!!! from Wisconsin. Anyone else care to join? Might sound like a pack of wolves/coyotes/dogs. I have a decent score from the past, but today I haven’t even managed to get 3 stars. Either the weather has gotten nicer so that I don’t feel quite so much like flinging, or (I’ll vote for) the level has indeed gotten harder.
I heard that Wisconsin Wwwwhhhhiiiiinnneee all the way in Boston @stocktoad , this is a terrible level!! I’m not even going to give it a go but I’ll help with you Wwwwhhhhiiiiinnneee ?
@tns747 Me again! Surprisingly your score on this one hasn’t been flagged seeing that it’s 16k over second place!
I just happening to be playing this level. Any tips?
@tns747 I have deleted your score. You have not replied to my post above or my message. If you have a problem with this please post a strategy and screen shot and mention @admins in your reply who will be the final arbiters
