Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons The Pig Days Level 2-7 is to send Chuck towards the far edge of the sixth tower. Chuck will take out the coins, and have a good bounce to clear the pig.

shoot the bird aimed at the coins on pillar 6, and bounce it off them to pop the pig and apple on pillar 7.
popping the pig without the coins got me 5750 points and 2 stars.
popping the pig with the coins got me 6710 points and 3 stars.
side note: it took some thirty tries to get the 3 stars, expect a bunch of restarts. played on I-pad, so no video possible.

I forgot to ask, is this the lowest scoring 3-star level in all AB games? Even ABO iPoached Eggs 1-1 is significantly higher.
I think you’re right @jwgardenwiz, this is the lowest scoring level in any of the AB games! I don’t see any way to score more than the 6,760 points, either. That means we all get top score, heehee!
@sweetp, as if we needed further confirmation, you cannot currently input your score because the leaderboard thinks that it is ‘too low’ to be legitimate. I’m sure that a fix is coming soon.
@jwgardenwiz, Yup, being on this side of the pond does mean we can’t always get to fix these things so quickly, and the same goes for creating and putting in the walkthrough video.
5200 is one star.
I kept trying and was finally able to hit the pig on the fly. The YB impact and popped pig only totaled 5,200 points and was only good enough for 1 star. Determining the 3-star threshold will be difficult.
I’ve seen for myself:
Pig only – 1 star
Pig and apple – 2 stars
Coins, pig and apple – 3 stars
Used a medium to low arc and did the same as @bryonjames to bounce the Yellow Bird off the second from the right base rock that has the gold on the top.
Obtained the same score of 6,760 with three stars.
It will be interesting if there is another strategy that produces more points.
Wonder of the significance of the VII base rock mountains?
Activated YB just as it leaves the sling.
Obtained 1050 when hitting the gold pile.
I hit the pig directly without bouncing it off the gold pile.
Scored 5710 with two stars.
Used a higher angle and activated YB over the first pile of base rock.
Interesting level in that it is probably impossible to obtain one star. That may be a first with AB games.

As this level celebrates William Tell day, I am pretty certain it is an apple, not a cherry ;)
I got one star by taking out the pig and nothing else. This is one of the hardest Pig Days level yet. I can’t get that lucky bounce and I’ve been flinging for 15 minutes.
@wrw01 Thank you!! So far, have been able to hit the Gold, but Mr Pig is the problem. I would also be curios to see if there is something else to produce easier points!!

I had the same problem with the pig. I hit the gold pile and also hit the pig, with YB, and the pig just sat there and waved at me, swaying back and forth on its red stand.
But then knocked it off the red stand a few times. Keep at it and you will get the angle.
I can hit the Gold every time, but have been able to cause the pig to sway 3 times, but not kill it!!

@wrw01 Not that I’m bragging about this but I’ve got 1 star lol!! I managed to hit the pig but not the Apple for 5200 points. BTW I’m pretty sure someone has epoxied that pig to the apple :( What a tedious level.

Thanks for the post. I think I hit the pig and apple for the two bird score. On the zoom in, it does look like an apple rather than a cherry.
Will have to give it a try to just hit the pig.
That could be the challenges of this level-obtain all three scores for 1 bird (5200), 2 birds (5710) and 3 birds (6760).
Well I just assumed it was an apple with it being William Tell. I’ll leave you to that challenge @wrw01 I’m taking my “top score” and running!

Thanks for the tips @wrw01, and yes @jlz -666 Iagree the pig has epoxy on his butt!! Out 100 flings, over shooting and undershooting, I’ve hit both the coins and got the bounce into the pig about 5x and he just sits there! !

This would be good for the’lowest score challenge ‘
1. Zoom in all the way.
2. Pull the bird back so it’s face is just level (or slightly below) where the three pieces of the catapult meet.
3. Activate the bird when it’s only just cleared the catapult.
4. Repeat until you get it.
Thanks! I used your strategy, Birdfeeder, and finally killed the pig. I discovered after many tries that the best bounce happened if I hit the right side of the coins. I only earned 6750 (on the iPad), but got 3 stars.
Difficult level. As said above, the angle of the YB is about 30 degrees and activate when it just leaves the slingshot. Hope for a good bounce on the gold.
I hit the pig on my first shot so I was pretty proud of myself until I saw it was only good for one star. Took another ten shots to bounce it off the gold for 6760 like everyone else.
This level is also the easiest to get an eagle feather as you can launch the can in any direction, even off the screen to the left, and achieve 100% destruction.

Just curious about the one star. I have not been able to obtain it.
I have hit the pig only a number of times destroying it with the YB falling off to the right.
Each time obtained a score of 5710 with two stars.
How did you get one star?
I have hit the pig and did not destroy it and obtain about 1K+ in points but the level did not close with stars because I did not destroy the pigs.
I think I 5610 but I’m not certain about it.
First attempt, YB fell very short. Adjusted, hit gold pile and took out lone pig on second shot. Same score as most everyone else. Looks like I’m done for the day on this level.

It has been a while since Rovio has released a level that has zero replay temptation to it.
I got the bird, and apple and coins, now we wait for Thanksgiving level.
Shame, they could have done a big level today like they have been doing.
707yr old legend! 707 shots and counting is more like it :)… no problem hitting the gold (always 1050), but have glanced the pig, getting him wobbling several times for 1120, 1200, & 1240..complete w/ varying stages of black eyes…just can’t get him to fall off and die!!

Maybe it’s just me, but this has to be the most pointless level ever released in all angrybirds games. With enough tries everyone gets the same high score. On the leaderboard I share “top score” but am in position 99. It doesn’t make any sense. Sorry, but I think it’s silly.
Well, I guess even Rovio isn’t immune to phoning it in sometimes. Still, this one is pretty bad.

I was expecting something like where there is a giant wood apple and you hit a rope, holding back a giant bow and arrow
Maybe it’s just me, but I dislike seeing “Top Score” if it doesn’t really mean anything. Not complaining, as I like the level idea. I just wish they’d added more possibilities for bonus points, such as a big pile of apples to the right of the last hill. Rovio is not short on imagination, but they disappointed with this level.
how does@bryonjames have the top score? evsryone else has the exact same amout of points as him!
@Rowdypup Well, someone has to be in that spot :) I think it’s decided by either the first or last person to get that score, or maybe alphabetical. There’s a lot of levels like that in Space.
The leaderboard for this level seems really strange. On “My Leaderboards” I have gone down steadily over the past days to 164 with my ‘top score’, so I looked at the breakdown to see if it was perhaps alphabetical. First time I looked it had me at 154, so I exited and then looked again. Hey presto I was now 84!! Exited again, and now I’m 94. Then 43, then 125, and then not listed at all!! Every time you check in on the leaderboard you are in a different position, which doesn’t really make sense.

It must be the first to enter the score because I (finally) was able to get the 6760 and byronjames still has the top spot. I haven’t checked my boards yet so I’m not sure what it will say there.
Update: it says “Top Score” and my rank is 364…
Wow! That was frustrating. Probably took me the 707 attemps to finally smack the pig and apple. I did manage to give him a black eye once before I finally knocked him off the wall. Most of the time Chuck would fall short. Sometimes getting coin pile but mostly even missing that.
Would be nice to know how @angry-eagle got 7000 points. Where did the extra 240 come from?

@gyspybird, I hear you. I too am wondering where angry-eagles found the additional 240 points. @angry-eagles, please share with the rest of us who are stuck on 6750 or 6760.
Just a guess — YB impact is worth a few points. If you can squeeze an additional bounce of YB into any of the debris, it may be possible. That said, I have tried but without success. How about it @angry-eagles, care to share?

Hahaha How fun is that !! Sharing a topscore with 117 other people! Scratches head, hmmm maybe not so much, no prospect of getting a better score so no need to replay this level. But anyway I of course did the same thing as the top video and everyone else.

The Tropigal Paradise upgrade has led to higher scores being achievable in many ABS levels. To save you the bother, this doesn’t appear to be one of them… unless I gave up too early (after 3 completions).
Well, for me, that was the most difficult 6,760 points of any Angry Birds!
I have bounced off the coins at least 30 times and bird does not bounce into the pig. ggggrrrrrrrrrrrr
