You want to just graze the edge of the glass with the top of Chuck’s head. If he has reached apogee and is beginning descent when you make contact with the glass, you are more likely to get the destruction necessary for a 1-birder.

That’s the strategy that I used but only scored 125k. After reading the comments and seeing the potential for higher scores, I returned to it and raised my score by 8k.

@bernersenn I used this way of aiming too! And I believe this could be considered an alternate strategy, so I changed the color to blue :)

I got a score of 136,800, but like Sweetp mentions, with a little more luck 140k should be in the cards.

Thank you so much @e-star. Your video allowed me to get it right while revisiting these levels. After perhaps a dozen or two iPad flings I got the lucky 1-birder for 138580. We “obsessed” Angry Birds fans aren’t the most patient bunch, but this time, patience paid off as it looked like the score would be 135k, but I let it score/close on its own rather than arrow right to immediately score/close & slowly but surely the 95k became 97k & finally stopped at 98k with 40k in bonus birds. Of course I must also thank @bernersenn.

Thank you once again @bernersenn ;-) I had the right idea of going for the top pig first but was using the wrong angle having him come down to ignite tnt. So I had to send in the triple blues to get the right piglets. My best two birdie score was 131253.
Then I saw your “art of the arch” strat which allows for the one birdie! Thank you, I improved to a one birdie for 136040, Yippie!!!

Wow !! i just noticed after all this this time, the rolling cloud of smoke? dust? across the bottom of the screen!! unless there’s suddenly something drastically wrong with my tablet??
anyway even when i manage to graze the glass and go smoothly through the glass mini structure on the right I just can’t get that one birder!!

@bernersennmThank you for posting your strategy. Very easy to repeat. The challenge for me was the helmeted pig on the right. I was not able to destroy it with one bird. On three occasions one of the tips of a stone triangle hit it and it not register any damage. On one occasion the yellow bird hit it and could not destroy it. So it’s a two bird level and that is ok.

This is maddeningly frustrating. I have managed to get down to 1 pig remaining but not a 1-bird clear which I believe is what is needed to get above average.
