Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons South HAMerica Level 1-2 is to drop the Orange bird between the first two towers. Then quickly send the Bomb bird into the pile of debris for extra points. The score in the video below is 154,680.

Same as video but let orange bird drop till the bottom. Then bombbird into the rest of the debris.

Likewise, same as video. Like many levels, repetition is key. I had widely varying scores depending on how the structure collapsed and finally reached 171k with one bird. In those cases when I popped all pigs but the bonus from the remaining birds wouldn’t raise my personal best, I did launch the bomb bird into the debris. Rarely did I get more than 10k and even then I only got 11 or 12k. Bottom line, keep a mental tally of your score — with bonus — and quickly decide whether to launch a second bird.

Forget my comment above, it was worth 168k.
This time played as @estar video (thanks for that, not only for this one – the other ones are very helpfull too).
For them who are having trouble with the angle of Orange Bird: zoom complete out, then pull the bird that way that there is between his beak and the pole of the sling a few pixels light .

Hi @kathy nice to have you around here. What this game concerns: pull the bird in the same way as @E-star did and release. That, you repeat until you got a good score. Scores vary enormous. Good luck

High ark Orange bird in between structures. Can be done one bird, But better scores using two birds. Got my score of 166k third attempt.

I used the high arc method as well, but didn’t send in the bomb bird. I didn’t have enough debris left to gain more than 10k. So mine is a one birdie with loads of damage. I got a score of 176010.

After a zillion tries, finally got that huge outward explosion you sometimes see when OB inflated. It seems that’s what it takes for the really high 1-bird scores on this one.
My best 2-bird score was 173k, but I found 2-birders over 170k to be pretty rare. I agree, it can be really hard to pick up more than 10k with the 2nd shot.

Hi @karen68, thanks for the pic. I find shots like this, taken at the time to show the actual trajectory & remaining debris are often just as, if not more helpful than the written description. Unfortunately, I can’t even break 170k. Were you letting OB expand on its own or did you manually inflate? If you inflated, did you let it settle all the way to the bottom or did you inflate on the way down?

Well @karen68, was serious with my question, but the ABG (Angry Birds Gods) must have thought it to be a pseudo whine because 10 minutes later I got a 1-birder for 177540 as you described. If I’d shot 2nd bird I would have had a much lower score.

Thanks @karen68. I really was surprised by the score since I was honestly stuck on 169k, however it truly was like you said, that OB explosion was just right & while I certainly had debris remaining, it was scattered & my years of experience told me that shot #2 was not worth it.

185200 with one bird.

High arc into the gap between the structures and inflated manually just after entering it.
The goal is to trigger the right TNTs asap to throw the right structure to the right or up, but not to the left.

use the same strat as other.
high arc into the gap (don´t hit a side), activate, when the bird is under the right-big-horizontal-stone.

I employed the strategy as first described by @hemma
On ipad fully zoomed in. Lined the sling so that it just covers bomb bird’s left eye (the eye on the right side as we look at it). Adjust as necessary, as you need to fall in the gap without bouncing off the sides. I have to touch to activate as the orange enters the gap bacause I have apparently slow reflexes and this causes orange to activate at about the center of the gap.

You might be wondering why it is important not to touch the sides. The reason seems to be that when the OB touches s side, he turns. When the OB inflates, he is NOT round, but more watermelon shaped, thus it makes a difference with the damage depending on which way he is faced. When you don’t hit a side, he is always upright which on this level causes the most damage.

I just popped a 182, it touched the sides but thanks to your observations I let him do 360 and turn upright.

For todays challenge I was following the video from @comex666 and slowly worked my way up to higher scores. It took awhile to get the timing just right but when I did I knew before the score even tallied up that it was a good one.
