Okay, so we don’t have a lot of info to go on, but based on the image above, and the Tweet from the “Visit Finland (@OurFinland)” below, it seem like a new Angry Birds Seasons update might be coming soon (I can hear @e-star shouting: YES! YES! YES!).

Personally, until today I have never heard of Apocalyptica, but their Twitter bio has me intrigued:
If you didn’t know yet, Apocalyptica is a rockband that play cellos.. NEW ALBUM OUT IN APRIL 2015!
So what do you all think? Do you think a new Angry Birds Seasons update is on the way? If so, that opens up the door for a bunch of other questions:
- When will the update land?
- Will it be the traditional advent-style holiday update or something different that comes before or after the holiday season? This wouldn’t be he first time we’ve seen a music-themed update. Remember the Angry Birds Friends + Green Day Uno mashup?
- There were rumors that this could be an Angry Birds GO update, not Seasons. If that’s the case, why would they include the ABS logo?
- Who is the Terence-like bird sitting in the water with him? Could there be a new bird introduced?

New December Christmas episode? if so maybe it lands on December 1, counting down to christmas?
Okay, is it just me, or is the ice hole that Terence and Big Bulbous Blue (BBB) are in shaped like a snowman?

@e-star at 420,00€ per night, it better be pretty darn magical! :) You know how much I love snow, so I’d definitely stay there.
I think it looks like those Finnish sauna places, the ones where there is an ice pool to cool down in… I think Terence on the right just got out of the sauna and Terence on the left has spent a wee bit too long in the ice bath ;)
Wouldn’t it be awesome if the Blues had a big brother, too? Imagine splitting into three Terences and crashing around! I can dream-I love the Blues. :-)
It sure looks like a snowman to me. Then again, some of the Polar Bear clubs have been known to cut interesting-shaped holes in the ice when they do one of their group plunges. :)
Since this update will probably be pretty liberal with the ice, I wonder if Blue Terence could simply be some kind of Terence-Blues hybrid?

I was thinking the two circular holes + the pier structure looked like a cello, which are the main instruments Apocalyptica plays.

I haven’t heard anything by that band, but I’ve always loved music using electrified orchestral instruments.
Pretty sure they use acoustic, but the cellos simulate electric guitar and bass.

Not only have they done the Green Day Friends Tournament, but they got Slash to play the theme for Space, Major Lazer did a Halloween album, Gene Simmons pushed for a KISS/Angry Birds game and they support the Freddie Mercury foundation. LOTS of Musical collaborations for AB/Rovio.
Sorry no yetis in Finland ever, they are a Himalayan thing ;-D and no polar bears either.
As for Apocalyptica, I believe their music will provide a great background for the episode. See wikipedia if you wanna know more.
@micromax Not actual polar bears :) I mean the groups of people who gather and jump into icy water for fun. Sometimes they cut some pretty creative designs into the ice.
@kelani thought you might mean that. We call them ‘avantouimari’ which roughly translates to ‘hole-in-ice swimmer’.
To be more exact, there are no polar bear out in the wild but if there would be a Ranua Zoo -level, there might a couple.

@amslimfordy: No it isn’t. In Europe we already have Christmas decoration in all our stores. If it’s advent style starting on 1st December, there are only 4 weeks till it’ll be released.

I think terrence will get a new exclusive look in this episode,not sure about a new power.
Sounds like a combination of the advent-style update and introduction of new Apocalyptica characters like the piggie in the cello pictured.

What do you think this new Terence will do? to me, it looks like a polar bear (or polar bird :) ) and real polar bears are good swimmers, but Terence already swims, so maybe this Terence could use polar bear cubs to fight, similar to Ewok and Agent Kallus from ABSW 2!
Also the name of the world is Finn Ice, which sounds like “thin ice”, so could this mean that there is thin, breakable ice?
@birdleader I think that the apacolyptica will be either be a special breakable item, in the theme song, a special item when you 3-star the world, or on the title/loading screen next to the words Angry Birds Seasons
My 2 cents, just an update for November with snow, ice, wind and low temperatures…a promo 30+ days out does seem a bit long. But again it is only 2 cents.

Hmmm this looks interesting… Maybe this NEW Terence is like a distant cousin they are visiting in the north? And I presume he will be like the Terence in ABF and Shock Wave Bomb in ABO and ABS how you can use them as a somewhat last resort. I haven’t exactly come up with a power he might have.
