Our strategy for Mooncake Festival level 1-5 is to fire the first Blue bird into the ice triangle atop the left structure. The impact should topple the entire right structure. Fire the next Blue bird into the lower ice triangle. Use the Yellow bird into the lower structure to pop the remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 73,180.

86520 with one bird! Managed to recreate the shot. Aimed just above middle of the stack of triangles and split at the last minute. Everything just fell!

Same way as video only 1st bird destroyed all pigs.

You might want to try splitting blue waaaaaay over to the right so one of them breaks off and hits the bottom tnt…. worked for me

I managed this on my first shot. Skowse and Chelsey are right. The the trick is one of the parts of the bird hits the low TNT and blows the other TNT backwards and the structure collapses backwards.

88,500 different method, one bird only and more can be scored. Shoot at the pig at the bottom with the had and split the bird into three at the last minute so you hit the top piece of wood and the glass. When done right, it bends the back part of the lower structure and everything collapses. It may take a moment, but the top part will buckle and fall over and hit the dynamite and everything in the back. Hope this makes sense.

99,530 by shooting the first blue bird arched over the main structure and exploding it to cut through the balls on the string, one of the birds bounces to hit the lowest TNT which when exploded causes a domino effect and getting all the piggies in one :)

I tried it your way and got 102,510 (Thank you), but actually a bird bounces and hit the tnt on my try. The trick is to get the tnt to explode before the structures in the back start to collapse (and the big ball falls down and takes the brunt of the explosion). Doing that causes the chain reaction. Thank you!!!

Agreed. this method helped me add about 25k to my score! thanks to Chelsey, Don and everyone who weighed in on this one. I noticed that if you can split the first bird so that the bottom of the trio hits the two vertical glass pieces on the far right and the top of the trio of blue rolls over to hit the bottom tnt, the effect looks like an accordion when it collapses. The structure fell to the right and crushed everything. Thanks again for all of the hints. I love this site!

Very cool method, and easily repeatable. The key is to make sure the bird sets off the bottom TNT before the structure starts falling over.

I revisited this level, using the same strat as last time, high arc to the right side, split before the right structure and make sure 2 blue birds go thru to the right side, snapping the string with the balls, but making sure the structure doesn’t topple over to the right. Both blues need to roll off the wooden plank, the second one detonated the bottom TNT, making the top TNT jump to the structure and exploding. Everything falls to the left. I got 106750 this time :D

Thanks Chelsey for the post and @e-star for the two videos.
I too did the high arc to the right side and put tried to split the Blue Birds just above the big wood ball. The first bird through the string flies off the structure most of the time and the second bird has a slow roll off the structure onto the bottom tnt. Sometime the birds get one of the little wood balls rolling off the structure to activate the bottom tnt.

Gained 17k+ in points. Had to good debris fall to the left side after the flying tnt exploded in the right structure.

Aiming tip: zoom out and line up the bottom of the launch basket with one of the purple horizontal background lines. This helps in getting the arc to the big wood ball. Works most of the time but the critical factor is the separation and travel afterwards of the three BBs.

Hi, it happened to me a few times on this level that I used 2 birds but when the points were calculated only 1 bird instead of 2 was included. The same thing happened to me yesterday with Rio, Airfield Chase.

87740 one shot aim bird at the top and split it at last moment to bring it all down or you can aim lower level brings it down with lower score

110490. Best method I’ve found is to aim the blue birds so that the roll and hit the 2nd TNT. Can be done with one bird :)

i agree! i actually found this method by accident on my first attempt, didn’t watch any video & wasnt even paying attention; just shoot & all of a sudden everything collapse using one bird, my jaw dropped! xD I tried to see if its easily repeated & yes it is: out of 6 times i tried; 3 got of it i finished it with one bird, just as per Suzi-f said: aim for one of the blue bird to roll on top of the roof of structure & it will fall & hit the (2nd) lower TNT so it will shoot the Top TNT up & hit the structure & voila! Good luck guys :)

108190 with only one bird. Shoot high, then split near the Wood ball. One of the blue bird fall on the second Tnt box (near the ground) all collapse, repeat many Times to get higher score. sorry for my english, cause i’m a french user

launch and Split the first bluebird so that the highest blue bird hits the string just to bottom second wooden ball which is connected to the larger wooden ball resting on highest wooden platform. The top blue will slowly slide down and hit the farthest second exploding chest to the right without hitting the higher first exploding chest.
The second chest will launch the first exploding chest upwards topling the concrete triangles onto the rest resulting in high scores.

Thanks to @Chelsey I was able to get a real decent score for this level, and it’s a repeatable shot, just launch your Blue Bird at a high arc to just before the string with lots of little wood balls attached and split, one of the BB’s will roll gently off the plank and detonate the lower TNT creating a backwards domino effect that demolishes everything.
