A good strategy for Hogs and Kisses level 4 is to fire the first Black bird into the bottom-left corner of the first tower, popping all pigs within. Shoot the next two Black birds into the left side of the remaining tower, reducing it to rubble. The score in the video below is 174,700.

First and second birds are like the video. Second bird typically kills all pigs. Be ready to launch third bird same as video anyways, blowing the last tower off the screen for huge points.

I’ve had some luck using a somewhat different method.

I’ve been paying around with shooting the first bird on a high arc t come down and hit the left bottom leg of the middle tower (the left one on the hill). The goal is to take out that leg so the tower falls to the left, BUT I also wanted the bird to fall back down onto the left structure before detonating. Damage can vary considerably, and I’m still experimenting with this.

This leave the small middle structure and right structure on top. I aim the second bird for the pig with the bow and self-detonating when the bird settles all the way to the right.

My scores, so far, have ranged from about 150K to my current score of 175,400. I know that there is potential for more with this method, but it’s time for me to put it away for the night.

@doctonynyc, you can add “mind reader ” to your resume! I came here to say the exact same thing.
I am playing on my kindle, so you may have to adjust for your device, but here’s how I line up the first shot-pull black bird down until his tummy touches the slingshot post and release. I am averaging 102k after first bird, so far. I think it clears the left side a bit better than coming in from the left. I went from about 157k to 173k.

Hiya @doctonynyc and @wanda ditto to that strat ,i find sometimes hitting at top of that leg u are talking about gives a better roll of ..also for ppl that are using video method and having trouble with first shot ,u can get a very repeatable 60+by shooting just above horizontal ,u need to break the horizontalto right of first heart and have bomb sit where the little pig is self detonate ,and then next 2 as per video ..Good Luck

@doctonynyc, nice strat, so you have managed your scores with 2 birds? I’m finding there is often one wee piggie left from the left structure about half the time, and using the 2nd bird to clear him out isn’t worth it, I don’t often get 10k from the pig & additional debris so I usually reset. Congrats on your score, very nice.

@doctonynyc @wanda I was playing this last night when you guys were, and I saw Wanda’s post, I was doing the same as you two last night, haven’t gotten a score like all of you yet , but hopefully!!! I have been able to get the first bird to roll all the way down to the bottom, between the wall, and pig before he explodes. Nice scores everyone!! @xebic88 fabulous score! ;)

Hi @sunshine i only just got that score ,and its 1am ,so i will try to go to bed ..lol..just so u know i went back to the 3 bird video method ,i had 71k after the first shot and 135k after second,the second shot seems to be the 1 or break u ,i found if u go through the vertical and the bomb rolls up the triangle abit ,the hole pillar is going left by then ,then detonate just before it would do it itself ,just very lucky,theres a few picks in album that are pretty close ,happy hunting Sunshine ,goodluck to all

@sunshine, I don’t know if it’s possible for the bomb to roll all the way down that wall begore he explodes, that wooden vertical has blocked it everytime for me. I had 105k after my 1st shot when I got my current score of 178k (using doctony’s method). But most of the time I had about 95k & a pig left after the 1st shot so I think a bit of luck came into it – as usual! Good luck!

Thanks to all of you for sharing your tips and comments! I got a really late start here today. I improved to 172880 so far with @doctonynyc‘s tips and @wanda‘s PAT..worked perfectly. Now I just need to improve my score ;-)

@karen68. I’m sorry about the delayed response. Yes, my highest scores were with two birds. You’re right, the left bottom pig is stubborn. If you got it half the time, you had better luck than me. It seemed like I got all the pigs on the bottom about 1/4 or 1/5. Using a second bird to get the stubborn pig (and some extra debris) never seemed to work for me–I couldn’t add enough points to justify the shot.

I also realized that if I didn’t have a score of over 100K on the first shot (and 105-110K is preferable), I couldn’t get near my high score.

I know we’ve moved on to a new challenge, but hopefully this clarification will still be helpful to someone!

Maybe I can help someone earn an Underdog Badge today. 185,360 w/3. 1st is sent through bottom left leg and roll to vertical next to bottom left pig. 2nd a tick over horizontal to just clear the hill and through bottom leg of tower. 3rd up against back tower to send over back and clear debris. GL.

Thank you @DonnMega for this alternate strat. Much easier to get higher points, but a lot of luck to get the first Bomb Bird to roll under the left structure, all the way to the right of the left pig. If anyone was wondering, you can get up to 68K after the first bird. Of course, I blew it with the second shot and didn’t get good destruction from the middle tower.

Like the walkthrough, with the added help from Donnmega’s screenshots.
I manually detonated the 1st as soon as it reached the stone vertical.
2nd I let it detonate on its own, it would roll up the triangle then start to roll back down before exploding.
3rd I sent even if all the pigs were gone – I tried to get the bomb buried deep & low into the tower.

There are definitely more points available since the last update, if I remember this one right, it was tough to break 180k before.

I used the same technic as @doctonynyc described. Shooting the bomb bird with a high arc and just hitting the left leg of the structure on top and hitting it so that the bomb falls down and pushes the structure below to the left. Second bird at the structure that is left on the right side. I got 177480.

Better late than never – just starting Seasons from scratch, as usual I decided to fling at this one before looking at strats.

@e-star I put 10K on top of your video thusly in under 10 flings:
1st bird tighter to the sling than described, actually dropping directly into the gap and breaking the wooden horizontal board and nestling down to the right side of the left structure. explosion took out all piggies and left a pile of rubble and had ~68K on the board

2nd and third pretty much like the video. with the 2nd, make sure you go under the lowest horizontal stone slab, don’t break it. Hope that the Gods of Debris smile upon you and you get more damage to the remains of the first structure. I didn’t catch the score here on my high.

Third of course you want to push as much as possible over the edge, on my highest score I struck just above the second horizontal plank in the right structure and detonated directly on impact.

in the re-enactment to write this up I hit >180 several times, only hit <175 once or twice. super repeatable.

You go up under the slab @kathy and let the whole structure start to roll left. Eventually you want everything to break, but let that slab help you out first

Well @knichy I tried hard with your strat but just wasn’t getting the debris damage.
I did improve using @Donnmega strat,i think thats how i got my 182k before, so it’s Definitely gotten easier !!
