Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs Level 1-11 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs level 1-11 is to bounce the Orange bird off the bouncers on the right side, detonating the TNT below the structure. This can result in a 1-bird clear, but you can snipe the topmost pig if needed. The score in the video is 87,960.

106530 – Pretty much straight on to get the O/B near the TNT. Still a one birder, and if luck is on your side, a few pumpkins will go down as well.

I tried the video method for about an hour, during which I was 1 piggy away from 117k, then again 119k. I rarely got the far pumpkins to fall. Then I tried Liam’s strategy and found it was much easier to get those pumpkins. After 15 minutes I got lucky!

I took a screenshot of the destruction

PS I did not manually expand the bird. I am not certain, but I think it found its way to the bottom before it self-expanded.

@bonneypattycat, I happened to see your post(s) under the general activity & since ABS is my favorite (or perhaps WAS is better as there haven’t been any recent updates,) I decided to check it out since it’s officially Halloween here. As it turned out, this was the only HH where I was below average. Being 128 points below average, I decided to try for this 1 birder. Many thanks to @flying-dutchman2.

While not a great 1-birder, I did improve from 98510>110890 on Android phone by following bonneypattycat pic trajectory. I’m often better able to follow pics than written strategy posts. In this case, it looked like I wasn’t going to get the bonus pumpkin points from the 3 on the right, but down the steps they slowly fell. As I patiently watched, to saw the 1st 3k (84560 at this point) & down the next 2 went for another 6k plus. Without these 9k plus I’m not sure I would have posted as it would have only been a 1k-2k improvement. So, as we’ve all come to realize, patience is definitely required when playing these games.

As Liam mention, aim slightly up, you want to break at least 3/4 of those vertical planks and end up on the stone plank before detonating. I had some great destruction below but still had one pig on top and two pumpkins left on the right side. High arced second bird to pop the last pig and push the three little stones on the pumpkins. 110640.

The level was just about to finish & Mighty eagle was pulsing so was just about to hit restart when I saw a small movement of the rocks on the top tower! I held my breath & X’d everything hoping the level wouldn’t end before all 3 pumpkins were smashed & low & behold it didn’t!!! Now just have to find an extra 100 points to leapfrog @c_wiz :))

@magsy79 thank you, I followed your advice to lob the OB to land on the left side of the 2nd rooftop beside the pumpkin top, it fell down through to the stone plank. Got amazing destruction plus the 2 pigs up top fell & the stones rolled down to get all the pumpkins on the right. Lots of luck involved, took me hundreds of tries.
On a couple of my attempts debris flew left to explode the black pumpkin & get the left jackolanterns but I could never pair that luck up with getting the pumpkins on the right.

I got best results using two birds to get as many pumpkins as possible. I aimed straight through the “Grinch” looking pig picture, through his nostrels and as he lands on the middle cement plank, I manually expand him. It’s always a mystery as to whether the tnt will ignite. Then a high arch YB to take out the top scarey pig causing the stones to tumble off to get all three pumkins. I think the right pumpkins are more important then the left ones because on one try, the first shot took out one of the left orange pumpkins and the black one. Then the second shot took out two of the right ones. The score was 106660. Then on another go, I got all the right pumkins and none of the left ones and the score was 108110. The destruction in the middle appeared to be about the same. This level is very frustrarting in that I never did get both sets of pumkins on the same go. It sure would be nice to get some of the left ones AND the right ones ;-)

I finally made the top 100 (59th) after many tries. I finally got up to 105550 (59th place for now). I did this using all three birds in a combination of three different strategies from above. I never would had thought to get in top 100 (never 59th) using all three birds; it was all in the extra debris points and getting ALL pumpkins. Total destruction.

The first OB (from Liam) straight into structure trying to break through wood to lower plank, but it would not take out all or if one bird, not enough points, but hopefully getting some debris to get some of the left side pumpkins if lucky…. Next YB aimed straight to top mummy pig next to rocks (from C_wiz), hit mummy pig and send rocks with YB over to get ALL pumpkins… And you must get all three pumpkins or you might as well just hit reset! The third QB I did as video (AMslimfordy) sending OB to the back bouncy wall, getting Frankenstein and mummy pig, the into the TNT. And again hopefully blowing debris to get any remaining pumpkins.

This only works if the plants are in full alignment and there is a full moon at the same time while standing one one foot hopping while patting top of head! I usually will give up by second bird and reset, but I was talking in the phone to a friend and just shooting birds while passing idle phone time… So I would use all three birds because I was just passing time. Then to my surprise I got my high score with all three birds and just so happens I was paying attention to my shots this time! After I tried to repeat, I would score over average or even come close again, but topping this one higher score. This just took luck and repeating until you get a good hit on all 3 birds. A lot of repeat!!!

I always try for minimum top 100 before I leave a level. So I am always behind with my levels, but I do benefit from those who tried before me and if really lucky e-star has video! Thank you e- star for your wonderful videos that shows the other strategies and clarifies the typed explanations. Also thank you to Liam, c_wiz and all others who give advice and strategies. @mikeinmont the right trajectory also takes you through the right eye of the pig-in-a-wig in the background picture. The OB goes through the first structure & lands just right of the 1st horizontal stone plank, then should drop down a bit before I let it self-inflate. I’ve found that if OB falls all the way down to land on the 2nd horizontal stone plank the destruction isn’t as effective. To achieve my +118K score OB’s inflation caused the three top ghost blocks to slightly rise-up thereby lifting the green pig and left end of the top wooden plank ~ that dislodged the three stone balls which rolled off the back side causing all three rear pumpkins to roll off their perches to their destruction.
