Rovio posted a VERY COOL teaser video of what looks like the next episode of Angry Birds Seasons. Though the official name hasn’t been announced, based on the achievements we’ve seen in Game Center we’re guessing the name of this adventure will be, “Angry Birds Seasons Ham’o’ween” and will likely feature a new “Globe Bird”! Awesome! Everything else is still a mystery. Oh, and what’s up with the giant monster? Is that setting the stage for a “Boss Fight”? Your guess is as good as mine, so chime in and let us know what you think.
The achievements in Game Center are as follows (a big thanks to Sven for sending these):
- All Around the Globe – Unlock Globe Bird
- Lovely Bones – Break 300 bones
- Black is the New… – Break 300 black pumpkins
- Eggxorcist – Finish Ham’o’ween
- Ham’o’ween – Total Destruction: Earn three stars in all levels
- Ham’o’ween – Score Addict: Earn 2,870,000 points

It was a dark and stormy night as the Angry Birds’ newest adventure begins. The murky woods has spine-chilling creatures lurking in the shadows, but that won’t stop the Angry Birds. Updates: Rovio is continuing their tease.
- October, 19th we saw another teaser image of the new Globe Bird and Andrew Stalbow of Rovio subtly dropped a picture of it in his 2.0 Summit slideshow. He doesn’t call it by name (he does talk about the teasers though), but he says “Alongside the launch of the new bird, we’ll also create a video telling [its] backstory.” We’ve captured the first full image of the Globe Bird and included it below. - October, 17th they posted an image of what certainly appears to be a new bird joining the Angry Birds repertoire.

@ Redbirdsbrother, I think you’re on to something there….the Flash 11 video does show black pumpkins & bones…..but if it’s built on a new platform, how could they release it as an update to Seasons? Won’t it have to be released as a new game? I’m not a tech expert but just thinking…..also had 21 levels on that video…..when you guys saw the achievements in the game centre, did it show under Seasons?? Ohhh getting excited now…..
……also, that first level shown on the video was the first game on that mini episode on the Finnish food website, sorry can’t remember their name….
Maybe the episode will be for ipod too, and the angry birds for flash 11 is allowing ABS to be on computer.
Like I said above, I think that the development of “AB Flash” is simply taking recent gaming data for the sake of development only. The volcano in the background is from fazer. The pumpkins and skulls from Ham’o’ween. Probably some things from Mooncake, but just as a placeholder for development.
Just my opinion. Either way, I dont think one should stress too much about the overlap. We may not see the Flash for some time.
And yes, Ham’o’ween is coming out for AB:Seasons on all platforms that already have ABS.
AB flash is all about pirates
The avatars looked like pirates, but that’s all I see. Also, the Flash video is pulling graphics from everywhere. “Dark pumpkins” from Ham’o’ween, volcano background from Fazer/Volcano. There’s even a pot o’ gold from Go Green. I don’t think we can say anything definitive about what AB Flash will be like.

I’m very confused why no one is asking about the pirates version of angry birds… And also will ABV be available on ios anytime? That’s be pretty cool
Are you referring to the “pirates” that appear in the Flash preview? I think that may just be custom avatars. And what is “ABV”?
what’s ABV? Angry birds volcano? it’s just six levels, so i doubt it whould come out on ios, if that’s what you mean…
Ah, didn’t think of that. I agree: I don’t think any online AB game (Chrome, G+, Fazer/Volcano) will be added to mobile devices any time in the near future.

I think we need to wait and see, but I don’t think it will be “Mighty Eagle”-esque. I think this will be a normal gameplay bird with a natural ability. (My guess is a tornado-like spin, but its shape suggests I’m wrong).
I’ve got a crazy idea. Perhaps the globe bird can get real big and round and huge and just roll over a lot of stuff. Perhaps even looking a bit like that big, round ‘monster’…..

This bird has a smile. He looks happy, not angry, I wonder why. I hope he has a cool ability, unlike the rio birds. I thought the two blue birds were pretty weak.
I feel like this is the biggest hyped update to come ever for Angry Birds. I can’t wait and I know thousands of other cant either to play.
Also I really have no guess what power this new bird will have.

Achievements aren’t on the GameCenter yet so I doubt the update will be tomorrow…..unfortunately!!!!!
If I were to gamble, I would put my money on a Friday release — maybe 36h from now? Few reasons. If you watch Andrew’s video from Web 2.0, he specifically says “in a few days”. Also, 21 October is the anniversary (or birthday) of the original AB: Halloween.
I hope you’re right….but my experience has been a lag of at least 2-5 days after the achievements show up on GameCenter. But fingers crossed for sometime tomorrow……
Depending on where you’re located, it may technically be Saturday. When we say “Friday”, we mean Friday in the USA.
True….we are a day ahead of you guys in Australia.
I think the ability will be more akin to a power bouncer….he has a “basketball” esque look to him and his features do mimic ME who generally comes down with a power slam bounce of sorts to crush everything

I think Andrew has used “a few days” for when Rovio will submit the upgrade to the App store (and we know how long they take to release it!!!) so my prediction is a release closer to Halloween. My guess is the achievements will hit Gamecentre by Wednesday next weekend & we’ll get the update next weekend – all Australian time predictions lol!!! Hope I’m wrong!!!
I thought that this could be a scheduled release. That is, the update was submitted last week maybe with instructions that it go live on the app’s anniversary. (Can and has been done. The launch of Rio was one example.)
the globe bird is cute
Hmmm… Globe bird. Maybe you have to shoot it backwards and it travels around the globe to hit the structure from the far-right side. Just thought of this from the Seasons ME 1-16 debate about big brother disappearing from the right side of the screen and reappearing from the left.

GameCenter has updated to show new achievements and new game badge. (SD only right now. HD in a couple minutes I assume.)
GameCenter is now updated. In my opinion the updates hit the appstore in the next 48h :)
Unfortunately though, AppStores do not update on weekends unless they are pre-scheduled.
