There is a repeatable way to score >100 K, by bringing down the entire saucer structure. The first Orange bird is as per the video. The second orange should be fired on a flatter trajectory to the top of the saucer. Try to sent as far to the right as possible. This probably won’t bring down the rest of the structure, but YB might and the last orange will for sure.

Anyone noticed a bug here? 3 times for me now, the lowest left ‘pig-alien’ has floated down to the bottom, and just sat there. Then the level finishes and adds up and awards a score even though that one piggie is still alive and kicking.

Now April 2015, still have bug with lower left pig alien still left alive, level finishes as if all are gone.

Also saw on another too like @bonneypattycat… It think it was level 3-4, the Milwaukee Bucks. The little pig on ground in front of TNT would sometimes still be there, level would end and count points as if all pigs were gone.

Can’t match @bonneypattycat ‘s awesome score, but have an idea that can often get an above average total.

First 2 birds should be used to disrupt the ‘flying saucer’ as much as possible, and at the same time clear as many of the pigs underneath as possible. In particular you need to break up the grey metal sections as much as you can. One way is to lob first bird through the gap and destroy the right side pig in the module. Next bird high lob to break the wood between the first 2 green lights – inflate for maximum affect. I’m sure there are other shots as good or better, but these shots are mainly to set up for Yellow Bird.

Now – “Shoot the moon” with YB to hit the blue box high above the flying saucer (and off the screen when zoomed in). This box seems to control the flying saucer, and destroying the box makes the whole thing fall. (I imagine it is controlling the flying saucer by signals to the green lights lol). The effect and score will depend on how much destruction you got from first two shots :))

I was not aware of the “blue box” until I read your comment @peejaydee27. I can’t see it on my screen zoomed in or out. I took a moon shot and it can into view, so I did a screenshot, which others might find helpful.

And here is how I aimed YB to hit it. My score was 121K on my first successful shot using this method. I am sure that is repeatable.

This reminds me a lot of level 2-5 (Golden State) where there is a hidden control box that topples the airship. That one can’t be seen now matter what I tried, but it works similar to this one. I’m beginning to wonder how many others have a feature like this.

@peejaydee27 Huh, I didn’t notice the blue box either! I didn’t know why my 1-birder worked, but now I have an idea. The inflating bird must have shook the ship sufficiently, then the deflating bird hit the blue box. What do you think?

@bonneypattycat – I never thought about that. But given the way those guys fly around as they deflate, you could be right I think. Worth a few gazillion more flings to see if I can replicate it!! :))

@peejaydee27 you’re theory about the blue box is correct. As I didn’t get over 122k using three birds (see below) I came back here and read some more comments. Then I saw your comment. Gave it a shot, ok, it’s not that easy to have the rest of OB flinging in that direction, but after five retries I reached 129k with a one-birder. Many thanks, good observations.

Ok, got a decent score now (136). Touched the blue box, the structure fell a little down, then started to fluctuate. Score went up and up, little by little. At the end the entire structure dropped down.

120K is easy to get: OB into the short wood on the left. Then second OB into the hanging structure (what’s left of it) – then Chuck in a high arf into the top of the structure. The entire thing comes down (as with the eagle/ball), gaining lots of points.
Now going to hunt for the strat and picture @bonneypattycat offered us – thanks already)

Played this level tons of times and no such luck of the first Orange Bird flying off to activate the blue box in the sky. But I did manage to get the second OB to send of one of the “glowing” thingies to activate it. Or so I think…
First OB to the top and it took down the whole left section, leaving a gap at the top for me to send the second OB in. OB inflated underneath the middle glowing thing and send it off into the sky, everything came falling down, so I assume the glowing thingy hit the blue box in the sky. I got a score of 126650 this way.

Piggie in little space craft on lower right is sitting there, but the level says I completed it. Of course I kept going because lots of points still out there. But definite bug.

149490. This was a wild one. Went back to raise my score and after several hours:
First bird aimed at crossing center and destroying right pig on stand. Picked up 20k by the time Debra finished. Second bird was normal shot on top between first and second lights. Terence up to pick up blue box just out of sight and the mass came tumbling down. Left side was pivoting up and down with ball and a pig riding up and down playing seesaw. Score was 120k and hoped it would drop over to left and give me a new high. The ball dropped off and I thought it wasn’t going to get better score. Thought it would sure time out. After about five minutes it started to slide left. When it got vertical, it totally exploded metal and all on left side. It was instantaneous and I couldn’t believe it as the score jumped to 149490. Truly a wild one!

I’m a bit confused at your strat though? I can no way reach the far right put in the stand , Are you aiming over the spaceship¿

Fire you shot at about a 25 degree angle beneath santa and twin pigs and above the peak of the blue tower. It will drop into far right pig on stand.

There’s definitely something weird about this level @Hunnybunny ,@Karen68
I’ve completed it a couple times without killing all the green Alien pigs(?) I’ve still had the one on m the stand survive. seems the main goal is to get the twitchy glitch going and rack up points, then take down the ship?

@kathy it looks like a known bug, it was mentioned above. It’s happened to me too.

To reach the far right lower pig & stand fling OB as close to that little piece of metal that sticks down from the bottom of the left half. You can even clip that little piece & OB will carry over to the bottom right pig & inflate just as he reaches it.

@karen68 I don’t get what makes the level end? I’ve been fling the first shot as you say over to the right green guy on the stand, even if he doesn’t die, i fling the second shot up top between the two lights, sometimes Nothing happens much, but instability of the ship and suddenly it just times out without giving me any chance to get any points.

After many lame one birders,finally got the mythical one.Tho still not sure how everything came down.Wasn’t paying attention to OB’s afterfizz.Cud ‘ve been him.It is a little glitchy so cud’ve been something else.E-star’s video the way to go for 2bird strat.Got 131+ using that.
