I fired the first bird higher than shown in the video, going through the left hand edge of the second horizontal wood plank from the top of the second structure. This way, the bird went broke both vertical glass blocks and I let it roll before it exploded to take out the TNT and the first and second structures. On one occasion it also took out the floating pig on the rocking horse giving me a first bird total of over 103K. Next two birds cleaned out all the piggies and I quickly fired the last bird into the debris to get around 18k additional points. My best score of 256,540 would have been better if I could have maximised the damage done by birds 2 and three but I’ll take what I’ve got and move on.

262k so far using all four birds, similar to walkthrough video,

First bird needs to go very deep to center. I try to get the bird to break the wood block under the second window. Without doing damage to the horse or to the far right (from flying debris) I like to have at least 100k after the first bird.

Second bird, again, go deep.

Third bird: if for right piggy is still there don’t worry, Send bird up to the left of the horses head, the activate. Often this will send debris to that stubborn piggy.

Fourth bird, pick up as many bricks as you can.

Thanks for the tip on using the 4th bird for the extra points @tiffin and @bonneypattycat ;-) I probably wouldn’t have thrown it had I not read your comments.

I played this level the same way as described by bonneypattycat ;-)
First bird I threw in kinda diagonally through the middle windows to land and break through the wooden plank under the second window. I had just over 99K on my high score turn. I’ve had as high as 109K after the first shot ;-)

Second OB, broke through the middle horizontal wooden planks and landed inside the rectangular hole of the third structure. I manually detonated him just before he reached the cement piece. This took out a lot of debris in both directions but the “annoying” right pig remained.

I sent BB to the left of the top floating horse as suggested by bonneypattycat (thank you) and detonated him so that he threw the debris to get the right pig. At this point I had 255K plus and almost let it be which would have given me 265K+ but…

I threw Stella towards the front left to pick up the metal basketball and surrounding wood and finished with 269430 which got me the current Top Score, Yippie ;-))) I wasn’t quick enough to get the screenshot to show what was left but here’s the score anyway:

I have also had Season crash a lot on me lately while trying to take screenshots and have lost several really good scores…I really hate when that happens! I want to be able to share the aftermath of destruction but have become leery as I keep loosing out on some nice scores…I keep restarting my iPad but after awhile it happens again.

Great score @lesleyg!

With the fourth bird and the bricks, I usually get well over 10K, but I have also messed up the shot enough times that for me, it is a bit of a gamble.

I only experienced a crash once while trying to get a screenshot in this episode, but luckily, it turned out to not be important. As far as I remember, it is the only time in all the levels I have played in all the games.

@lesleyg that is awful. Did you upgrade your IOS, version 8.1 is vailable. I must say that I didn’t had this issue. Very annoying and frustrating. I hope you will get your scores back

@lesleyg I’ve been having the same problem with the games crashing when I try to grab a screenshot just before the score tallies. It happens pretty regularly in Star Wars & Space, but I’ve never had it happen in Seasons (fingers crossed). I’ve lost a few good scores too. I always make sure there’s nothing else open & restart my ipad before I even start flinging. It holds it off for a bit, but like you it usually starts again. I’m at the point where I’m almost afraid to try anymore.
Maybe this is the 1st gen showing its age :(

@lesleyg, which iPad do you have?

I am still on iOS 7 on an early 3rd generation, and so far, never lost a score when grabbing a screenshot.

I will not be upgrading to iOS 8, it takes up too much storage. Even after deleting nearly all apps except the few I use most, including storage hungry AB apps, and all videos/photos, iOS 8 would just barely fit on here. No thanks!

I MIGHT get myself a new iPad for Christmas, but I also want a new, bigger TV. Decisions, decisions…

I am still playing on an original iPad (1st generation) and running version 5.1.1 which is the most up-to-date I can be, lol ;-)

I don’t recall ever having this problem before or on ABSW or Space so I’m not sure why it’s happening now. So far it seems to be just in Seasons but then again…it’s the only one I’ve been playing much lately, all though it didn’t happen in the non- Season’s Challenge the other day. It is indeed frustrating! I get the screenshot, which captures the score but I don’t feel right about entering it in on the leaderboard, because when I re-open the level…it doesn’t show anymore ;-( Oh well…Thank you for the advice…I will try closing every other app and restarting before flinging from now on and see if that helps at all. Also Now, when I get a notification from an event on say my calendar or a text…it is also causing the level to abruptly close! I had a good run going the other day and @surfcow sent me a text and booted me right off the level, hahaha ;-) That never happened before.

I think our 1st generation age is definitely showing @karen68 – It’s definitely a gamble whether to take the screenshot now? If I get a really high score I may just have to hold off. Yikes!
@bonneypattycat – decisions, decisions, hmm whatever will you choose?!?;-) I think I better ask Santa for a new iPad this year!!!

@lesleyg I think that is a good idea. Be kind to Santa and he will be very kind to you. @bonneypattycat to you I can say that one of our Ipads had the same comment, not enough space. Then my wife did it via Itunes + pc.
The worries you have about the screenshots I can imagine, that IS annoying and rude.

worked my way from left to right like the video on top, landing the first bird into the left side of the middle structure, taking out the left and middle section. Second bird into the debris, taking out the whole right side and the bomb bird to the hanging pig on a horse. Lots of debris, ergo, lots of various outcomes, I got a score of 268740 :)

270860 with 3 birds.

Nothing special here, just good destruction.

First Bubbles deep into the second structure and manually inflated. A good score after this is more than 100k.

Then the second Bubbles deep into the third structure. At this point, usually the hanging structure and the pig on it are still intact.

So I am using bomb to finish them off, sending them to the rightmost pig if it’s still alive.

So here what’s left after Bomb for my best score.

Used a very similar strategy. The second bird getting deep into the third structure was a key to good stone destruction. Obtained a decent score but could not get into the 160ks.

Come on @admins This episode is yet again one of those only available to a select haves, the have nots get no chance. Didn’t you say just a month or so ago that these levels would no longer appear in the daily challenge? ☹️

Lucky enough to have 2-2 saved from seasons quest’s so can work my way through the levels
If you get a low ham dunk level in quest’s don’t beat it as you can use it to play higher levels. Just tap your way through until you get the missing levels you are looking for
