First and second shots very similar to the video. First shot caused top bricks to fall left doing good damage on wood and thatching, plus doing some damage underneath the floating mound. Second shot picked up what was left of tower, taking out upper and lower wagon wheels, detonating TNT. BUT 2 small piggies lived through it all next to the far right rock pile. Black bird over the mound to the back of that pile, let it settle and self-detonate, throwing the rocks left killing the piggies and doing good damage. Good luck.

Easy, repeatable one-birder!
Followed the video’s trajectory with Chuck, but I used his boost power while he was still in the sling. The force tipped all of the bricks down to the left, while the hanging boulder fell, causing the tnt to tip over to the right.
Sadly, this yielded only 128k with the addition of the two extra birds. Whinnee!

I have had problems with the 2nd shot getting to the upper wagon wheel, so I’ve tried this alternative strategy, with some success.

First bird over the top, accelerating into the hub of the upper wheel. Subsequent damage is variable but generally the best second bird is a lob to life the TNT and drop it on the remaining pigs in the bottom right. Third bird to blatt the nearest structure into smithereens.

I used the same 1st shot over to drop the upper wheel, which falls to take out the lower wheel. Sometimes the TNT explodes, not sure it matters if it does. The tower of stones should remain upright.
2nd high lob with Stella to land in the gap between the hut roof & the stone tower, she needs to get right down to the bottom. As she lifts the tower hopefully some of the stone falls left to destroy the hut. The rest of the stone gets dropped on the right setting off the TNT if it’s still there.
3rd bomb bird over to the stone pile on the bottom right.

I don’t know how repeatable this is, destruction really varies, but it did get me my 164k score.
The hardest part is getting good destruction under the platform but sometimes the TNT tips over to the left before exploding which helps. I’ve had several 150k+ scores & a few over 160k.

The trick is getting Stella in the right spot between the tower and stones.
Finally cleared over 160k with this method.

Thank you @bikkit for the strat and @karen68 for the additional tips! Karen on third shot with bomb , I’m getting behind the stone pile, are you manually detonating or does it matter?I coulda,,shoulda, woulda had 163k but one SFP say there laughing from behind a pile of straw! arggg

Thanks @karen68 for posting your strategy. Was basically doing the same but could not break into the 160k range of scoring. Was able to destroy all the gems but the point just did not add up. Found that with the yellow bird if it drops down more points are gained rather than flying to the right.

Exactly the same 3 shots as the video, the only difference was after the 2nd shot the TNT hadn’t blown so with the 3rd shot the TNT fell right and did more damage.

I have been trying to get a top 20 score for all my Fairy Hogmother levels and this level was the second most difficult to crack (Level 1 is still challenging for me to break 170k, but a fun level to play)

So this level 5, a sudden 164k out of the blue but thought I’d flag the strategy that worked. Nothing new I am afraid… Chuck straight ahead and then a decent lift from Stella. The only thing I noted was that for the last shot Bomb bird did not sit at the far right of the little stone pile but seemed to bury slightly amongst the pile.
The result was a very wide and satisfying stone shower across the whole level to the left…. with my jaw dropping as the points ticked up.

So… back to good old level 1 now…

@hunnybunny, yes indeed, the nickname habanero does originate from my love of them and all chilli peppers.

And LOL, I have surpassed myself in my quest to improve a few scores. Take a bow Level 20 … the dreaded glitch wiped my 176k to a healthy zero, but eventually I managed to get a respectable 172k to replace it…

Teach me to try and improve on a glitches level ;)

@habanero some of these levels are fun, some just darned awful. I normally play for a top ten place, if I have the time. Last time I looked I was tenth in FHM, but people keep overtaking me. As always. But us Seasons players are determined, it’s the hardest and most played AB by far

And I never worry about glitches wiping out GC scores. I prefer to compare my score to respected ABN players. Although neither is entirely satisfactory

Nothing to add – every now and then I have returned to this level, because my so far 155k were not really satisfying. Today, it has been working better … 170k might be possible, but that would mean 3 perfect shots.
