Angry Birds Seasons Arctic Eggspedition level 1-6 was first available on Friday, December 6th, 2013. Our strategy for this level is to simply fling the yellow bird towards the the arrow to the right. The resulting cascade should clear most of the pigs. Then send Matilda, if necessary, towards the remaining pig (usually the one in the small cave). The score in the video below is 81,750.

Shoot yellow further up onto the snowballs.
As he falls down he’ll gather a few hundred more points for you.
Took out the pig in the cave with YB, then used WB toet the avalanche in motion.
This method worked for me for a fairly high score. A lot more fun than the “spray and pray” one birder technique, and easier to use WB to get good destruction of the copter thingy.
That is exactly what I did. Tried to obtain 12-13k with the yellow bird. Dropped the egg of the second bird on the middle of the blades, wood item, on the left side with the white bird.
One-birder finally!! Same as video. Shoot yellow to release avalanche. Just luck that the last pig in the cave was dragged down by the hanging pig underneath. Score: 95310
Having the lowest pig on the rope drag the pig in the cave into the water is the key to a one-bird high score. Unfortunately, I think that it’s more a function of how everything falls than it is of how you launch the YB.
@jomasa, same here. I think an easy game today – what will we get tomorrow ?
On this one, a bit of skills to fling our yellow friend, the rest is pure luck. Feather also very easy.
Do we have to buy the eagle to earn our feathers? I Don’t appear to have the option to use the eagle in ab seasons. I do have it available in a star wars II, without an in-game purchase. I purchased all the levels instead of waiting for one level to become available each day, because I thought they’d be a bit easier than they turned out to be.
One bird. The avalanche didn’t sever the rope linked to the pig in the cave, so it slid gently still attached to the lower one. Just luck.
Same thing just happened to me.
I waited for that pig to slide over the edge with white knuckles.
Same Strategy as in the video :)
Ooh a golden egg in this level! Didn’t know it was there
Found the golden egg as well – kind of by accident.
The Golden Egg is “hidden” in the pile of snow at the top right corner underneath the wood plank holding all of the snowballs that you release with the first Yellow Bird. I was launching the White Bird to knock out the remaining pigs and it bounced upward just right to get into the snow pile. I now see why there was the arrow made of wood on the ledge up there.
I replayed the level and see now that once you use the first bird to clear all of the snow balls at the top, the wood plank covering the gap “slides” back. You can launch other birds very high, up where the snowballs were, and they can roll down into the now open gap and clear out the snow, releasing the golden egg.
Possible strategy….
YB onto the top block to drop the snowballs.
Now, hoping the rogue pig in the cave gets hit and you either have no pigs left of the one under the wooden barricade, you fire the white bird to take out this last pig which will also destroy the ice sculpture to the left…angle it right and your whitey will be taken upwards and into the gap at the top where it can take out lots of snow blocks.
Just got me 93k with room for more
@ruthni congrats on your 101k TopScore … you & Nukcall(@caljoce) are the only 2 with over 100k. Can you please help the rest of us by sharing? I’m stuck at 95k & even the #3 spot is only 98k.
I used the same strategy as video, but must have hit a soft spot, one bird. Have tried to replicate, but without success
Likewise, same as video. As I recall, I hit the square block of snow — the one holding all of the snowballs in place — on the corner. Not sure if that had anything to do with the outome; can’t imagine that it did. Have tried to improve but have only achieved 94k max since.
I think where you hit the block holding the snow balls might influence how they cascade, because they need to take out the pig in the tent, all his gear, and damage the helicopter to get above 98K. I’ve been aiming just above the corner of the block at a little dent mark as it more often than not got the snow balls falling the farthest out.
hey, I just had one of those lucky moments where I could finish it with one shot. When the yellow bird was falling down, it rolled into the upper cave and popped the hat giving me an extra 500 score, maybe see if you can achieve the same result?
1. I think hitting the snowballs higher up might not be a good idea. It does give you a few hundred points, but all the snowballs are destroyed anyway and you don’t want them damaged early because the more that reach the bottom the better.
2. You would think that it would be good to have the little pickaxe (or whatever it is just below the snowballs) gone so the snowball could go down faster without the impediment, but that isn’t the case. If the pickaxe is gone, not many snowballs hit the bottom.
3. In case you are wondering why the cave pig sometimes gets dragged out of his hole, but usually doesn’t. It seems to be that a piece of rope from above needs to fall on the rope connecting the two pigs to get the dragging started. There are other ways to pop the cave pig, but they don’t happen as often as the dragging. I don’t know of any way to get that to happen more frequently.
4. How you hit the snowblock holding back the snowballs does seem to make a difference. One variable is where the yellow bird ends up. He can either help make a blockade with the pickaxe, or you can shoot to have him bounce out completely. I don’t know which way is better.
Good grief this is an obnoxious level!! The only way I can see is like the video with tons of rinse and repeats! I’ve tried up high down low and everything inbetween and it’s all up to luck as to how much damage is done and if that extra rope falls just right to drag the smug pig on the ledge down. I did get the egg without trying, seems just as the first egg there’s not much to it, once the wood breaks under the snowballs if a snowball falls in pop goes the egg. Glad to be done with this level!!
1 bird. YB high arc up to the snowballs on upper right slope. All came tumbling down, and with Golden Egg located as well!!
Same as everybody else, shoot… break snow… and waiting for the luck of the draw. I got 96360 for now, will save the rinse and repeat for a rainy day ;)
Here is my video.
I really wish there was some skill tied to the outcome of this level. I’m SO tired of the two outcomes, neither of which gives me a one bird clear.
1. The pig in the cave is s l o w l y on its way out, being pulled by its tethered buddy and then the very last stupid snowball lands where the previous 50 did not, and cuts the rope. Pig snug in cave. Reset.
2. Cave pig gets dragged over the edge because every snowball stayed so far to the left they didn’t touch down on the rope. And yet, despite all these balls skewing left, not ONE killed the pig on the left next to the glass. You know, the one that gets killed EVERY TIME the snowballs fall on the side OPPOSITE this pig, while they’re busy ruining my chances snapping ropes.
Every time, either one or the other, and NOTHING I do makes any difference. 100% luck.
Wow.
I feel your pain. I played this level for hours and hit a few one-birders, but thought that I’d better up my score before entering it here. I finally cracked 94,000 and thought, “Well…that should at least be competitive.” After posting it, I found myself in a paltry 268th place.
As children no doubt frequent this site, I’ll summarize my response as follows…”How in the bleeping bleep did these bleeping bleepers get such high bleeping scores bleepety bleep bleep it?!” For the adults among us, feel free to insert “colorful language” in place of those bleeps and, for the sake of accuracy, please don’t skimp.
These “Seasons” levels are sapping my bleeping joie de vivre.
Please delete this post – it was meant to be a reply to @zebung‘s strategy, as above.
Argghhh can’t get above my previous score!! Wish there were some comments from those who scored over 100k ?? This one is all luck!!
WwwwwHhhhhhhiiiinnnnneeeee!! *Is Tuesday is allowed ?. ?
Well, it wasn’t hard to figure out the strategy for this level but getting it to work? That’s a different story entirely.
93100/2
The only way I was able to get above average was to take out the pig in the cave with the YB and then use Matilda to bomb the ice structure while taking out the upper block to let loose the snow balls.
