A strategy for the Angry Birds Rio Trophy Room “Rocket Trophy” bonus level is to fling the Yellow bird towards the main structure, and redirect him into the detonator on the right. The resulting chain reaction should clear most of the marmosets. Then send, if necessary, the bomb birds towards any remaining marmoset. The score in the video below is 179,620.

184030 with 1 bird. Lower than the video, can’t remember exact where, but it took down the entire front structure as it scooted to set off the rockets that brought down the other two structures.

Hm, didn’t think 190,860 would hold as the top score for more than 24 hours so didn’t post how I got it right away…anyway, aim the rocket bird to hit the third row of the big structure and hope for the best. Lower than third row doesn’t work as the rocket can’t break concrete. Not sure how helpful trajectory screenshots are for these crazy birds but here it is: http://angrybir.de/JMaJKh. Lots of debris left so I think 200K is achievable on this one.

Thanks @fenikus for this method. I was trying to use it when I got the current top score of 199,620. I say trying because with Chuck on a rocket that’s pretty well all you can do – try. Despite now having a top score using crazy Chuckie on his rocket, I still don’t like the combination and feel all my scores, where he’s involved, are sheer dumb luck rather than skill.

Is it my fault when I say that I’m not fast enough to redirect the bird in the direction I want? Even zoomed in you have to be that fast… What I did to get my score was directing my yellow friend always something lower on the main structure. Once I got a point he redirected in the right structure. Had to use bombbird to finish the level. It’s funny to do, but different from the ‘normal games’ here’s even more luck involved. Good luck to all our flingers with this one.

Got 190k like the walkthrough, the 1st shot did a lot of damage to the lower structure & cleared everything off the top left.
On the 2nd shot the bomb dropped right down to the ground to the right of the hollow stone square for added destruction. Got a bit lucky with destruction overall.
I tried for a long time for a 1-birder aiming lower as described above but I only managed it a few times & never scored more than 179k.

B4 I came here for tips I got my personal high (only 20 flings in so far) by a different strat. loft chuck at about 45 and activate so he goes under the bottom planks in the upper structure, he pushed the concrete out of the way, came through the other side, and activated the detonator. BB into the middle right where the horizontal concrete slab is wiped the center structure. No a super high, but worth a fling or two for a distraction.

Chuck is so hard to direct, don’t bother. Aim him to take out the Marmoset standing unprotected on top of the third row and Chuck will self activate and, not infrequently, fire into the far structure activating the rockets to take out the top structure. Bomb bird clears up. One birder possible but not so far for me.

Ah, the power of the whinge – managed a 1-birder using the don’t try to direct Chuck strategy for 186k. Not troubling the leaderboards, just saying it’s do-able.

Right you are @pauliboy. 1 birder for me as well. So possible for a good score, and mostly dumb luck. Used the walkthrough method and one of the rockets somehow got directed down and took out the rest of the left section.
