A simple strategy for the Angry Birds Rio Trophy Room “Cherry Trophy” level is to fling the Blue bird high into the small tnt, and clip the sand block holding the boulders. One bird should bounce on the umbrella, and break the top glass plank. The chain reaction should clear this side of the level. Then finish off the remaining pigs with a yellow bird. The score in the video below is 128,900.
Need help earning the feather on this level? Our walkthrough is live, but we don’t claim it’s easy.
First bird similar to video, but upper left fell, setting off lower TNT.
Second bird to base of first tower.
3 bonus birds
That should have been upper right fell.
I get best and most consistent results with a slight variation on your first shot: http://angrybir.de/H66eth. Leftmost blue bird to center of left umbrella to take out some of the left structure and pave the way for the big boulder to hopefully finish the job, center blue bird to center of second umbrella to take out glass floor of the top structure and rightmost blue bird to release boulders.
I’ve gotten 150K+ score several times this way and couple of times it was tantalizingly close to 1-birder.
Eh, I mean for my post to be under your post just below this one…
More detail for the first bird:
I get better results releasing the three birds over the wire that holds up the plank the small stones are sitting on. This does three things:
1. Ensures the release of the stones
2. More reliably breaks the glass of the upper section
3. More often sets off the lower TNT
Here is an image of my usual first bird

Sorry to say I haven’t yet got a 1-birder….
Excellent strategy @bonneypattycat! Thank you! : )
152k without setting off bottom TNT with first bird! Most of the time if the TNT doesn’t blow, I reset without flinging the second bird. This time I had otherwise good destruction above and to the left structure, so I went ahead and sent yellow directly to the TNT. A flying stone took out the left structure and even that stubborn caged bird. Yay!
Thanks @bonneypattycat – couldn’t get the video strat to achieve 3* – yours did first time! Now back to improve on 135680!
Thanks @bonneypattycat for posting. Used the two bird strategy. Was able to get the right side tnt to activate a number of times but could not get the one bird solution as presented in @comex666 video. Found that if two blue birds hit the string and the third goes under the string/wire the chances of activating the tnt are a bid better. At least it seemed that way.
High score for now with same first shot as walkthrough. Everything collapsed including the first tower over the yellow bird. Sadly that yellow bird cage was the only one remaining, with a little debris in front of it. Finished it off with the second shot. Keep at it – there’s a lucky one-birder to be had here!
I am slowly inching my way up! Thanks for your post @raven22, I thought sure your score was the result of a 1-birder, now I know there is hope for me yet ;)
aim 60deg up & split in front of boulder(if lucky one free the boulders & one breaks the glass under the top right bird, the debris falls & hit the tnt)
leaving just left tower, just aim low at the bottom piece
2 shots & score 143680
Cal, I do not see how this is much different than what is already posted directly above.
Yay, a 1-birder for 159940! Like the video but aiming just a little further to the sand piece, splitting right before hitting it. This give a much better chance of a bird bouncing up and breaking the glass. Occasionally, the falling debris and bouncing balls will bring down the bottom structure too, but the front part of the first structure usually stays up. A stone ball will usually end up flying towards it but falls short … except for this one time. :-)
1-birder is very difficult!
I use 2 birds.
First bird

Second bird

I accomplished 1-birder, too, but was not able to destroy the TNT of the right depths.
Got a 1-birder after many lobs following the described strategy. With 2 birds I always ended up at or slightly below 150k (at max.). There is potential for higher scores as the top-scorer demonstrated, but I do not believe that 170k can be reached.
This level has been driving me nuts since earlier this evening, I hadn’t looked at the walkthrough video, but I think I did it like the video a couple of times with no results, guess I’ll just have to keep at it ’til it gives or I lose my mind.
Wow! Whining does pay off!!
Has anyone got the Mighty Eagle Total Destruction on this level and if so how? Best I get is 95% with little remaining.
@andy2510 Please read the top of the post.
Oops – sorry @amslimfordy – I need new glasses it seems!
Thanks @amslimfordy – got 100% at last! And with that the entire Android cannon of Angry Birds is complete above average (bar 2 in Space where the levels had bugs fixed or had been changed so that it’s impossible to get a high score now) and all mighty eagles complete (except Space and Star Wars where the pricing structure of them is ridiculous).
Red Bird’s strat, one birder.
Hi @ffodor, nice score! Would you mind clarifying which red bird strategy you used: the one in the video or the one @bonneypattycat describes so nicely above? Thanks in advance!
@fenikus he means the user Red Bird. Strat from july of this year.
Ohhhhhh, duh…thanks @swelld!
This onebirder is just hard to get like some other Trophy levels. redbird copied his words from @dmsral if noone noticed. The perfect shots happened within the same family what are the odds lol great shooting though to the van emdens
Ha! I did actually notice the almost duplicate post but chalked it off to my brain playing tricks on me after hours of trying to get this 1-birder :)
A video of the 2 bird strat http://youtu.be/vPUEGb5dpCI
Good luck
G’afternoon to you @xebic88 . Gonna try your first shot. I split just before your split point. I have not been able to get past 96k with first shot thus far. Tx for the video.
Off to a very late start in the Challenge today (I hate it when a work deadline gets in the way of Angry Birds ~LOL !!! ) Going right to work following the @xebic88 video ~ Thank You for posting it ~ hopefully I can follow it to similar results as my current score needs mega improvement.
Great video @xebic88 You made this finicky shot look easy :)
Glad it helped @kelani and @uncle-b nice scores ,i must admit i had a look at it myself ,lol,to no avail :)
Hello, everyone. I have to say, I don’t hit the TNT in the right structure even close to frequently enough with the first shot. Hampers my dirty to get to at least 150k, never mind the awesome scores by @klara-van-emden and @aki-van-emden
Hampers my IDEA! LOL! Auto text got me!
@jaydee I figured “hampers my dirty” was a British saying unknown to me!
@bonneypattycat
Hello, good to “see” you again! :-)
Hahahaha! Perhaps I can start finding use for it as a saying?? – – and then forward it to linguists up there in Britain for good measure! LOL
Avast Ye Mateys….
This level be very frustratin’ as ye old one birder be hard t’get. It hampers me dirty t’say it, but I surrender.
Bwaaahahaha @stocktoad ! Well said!
Oh my goodness! 162600 1birdie out of the blue! @xebic88 , thanks, your video helped a lot. Everything just fell right and you can imagine how I jumped up and down when that yellow bird’s cage collapsed! Yeeeeaaaahh!!
That was so close to my first puppy!! Don’t think I am going to be able to replicate or improve today.

Hi @jaydee ,YW and well done on a great score :) ,im finding it to be a cheeky level for me ,every time i think last attempt it gives me a score just under my best ,maybe just a few hundred more ,lol…..
@xebic88 – Don’t I just know THAT feeling! Hope you grab success before you go to bed over there in the near future! :)
In line with discussions regarding linguistic uncertainties, I notice that you have been making use of “YW”. Pardon the ignorance or brainlessness, but I can’t figure out that acronym?
…. with my best wishes from over here in the “not so long ago” :)
Oh, WAIT, the lights actually just went on! Hahahaha, duh, Jaydee!

Fabulous @comex666 !
After studying @comex666 ‘s video and playing with the level, I CAN tell you what needs to happen to get the one birder. The key is the big boulder in with the small ones. It needs to hit close to the red/white umbrella so it goes high in the air. Usually a board or a small rock hits it so that it goes into the blue bounce pad and stays low to the ground. What I CAN’T tell you is exactly how to do that.
@stocktoad
Early in the Morning, you Go to the Apple-Computer Or pc, you Must search the Pixel to make this Desaster,
In background, many coffee and e-cigarette, et voila, i think, LUCK, LUCK, LUCK….sorry
I too spent much time studying comex666’s video, and it appeared to me that the left wooden support holding up the boulders was bumping into the large boulder as it fell, causing the boulder to land on the blue pad and stay low. It looked like releasing the blues just before reaching the top of that support such that the top blue traveled along the same diagonal but just below it was more likely to change how it fell so that it didn’t bump the boulder. Was giving that a try for today’s Challenge with mixed results when on one try, even though the large boulder stayed low, the debris from the top right structure on the two suspended platforms full in magical way so that the tnt exploded and then one of the long, narrow stone planks fell on the blue and white tube and bounced over to the yellow bird at the bottom of the left structure, knocking that down. Voila! The only one birder I’ve ever gotten on this level. I agree with @comex666 – LUCK, LUCK, LUCK!
Hmmm.. another daily challenge level where I can’t seem to get near my existing score… I’m a glutton for punishment. LOL
