Our strategy for Timber Tumble Level #1 is to fling Blu straight ahead, between the two middle marmosets. He will call the flock, and if the TNT detonates then 3-stars await. The score in the video below is 104,390.

Issue with Angry Birds 2 and windows
I assume the flock is not a powerup – although they certainly surprised me when I activate Blu. @amslimfordy or @admin Is there a forum where I can check on the “dos and “don’ts” of the new Rio levels before I even start.
@aBeggerToo A good question. If it’s “God-given”, then it’s fine. If you have to click a button to get it (like Level 3 the first time you play) then it’s not.
Ahhhh, yes. Mighty Eagle giveth… then Mighty Eagle taketh away. This episode should have come with a warning label:
WARNING
Do not attempt levels of this Episode if you are any of the following:
1. Easily addicted (Call the Flock! Now!)
2. Easily annoyed. (Psst. Hey Mister, wanna HINT? They’re CHEEEEP. Heheh.)
3. Easily parted from your money. (See numbers 1 & 2)
Aloha
Thanks @amslimfordy, but I remember the issue with the present-drop and since you can’t turn off power-ups in Rio I just wanted to be certain. The days of sling and score are long gone.
I was surprised at this a well. Wasn’t expecting the blue bird to summon a flock!! Happened accidentally while still in the sling. I was also under the impression, these levels did not have Power Ups!!???????
See my reply above @TerribleTom for clarification. :)
Thank You @AMslimfordy!! I did see your comment, I was just surprised that these levels actually have P/U’s. For whatever reason, I was under the impression they were not available!! Learned something new!! Much thanks!!
Hi @amslimfordy, Really hate the fact that the flock is situated under the reset, i have inadvertently hit it a number of times and, believe it or not, not used it. How about you move the button beside the powerups so ‘oldies’ like me do not inadvertently trigger it when we are playing without our glasses.
Hate having to admit my age, I feel 36, but really feel this one is a pain in the butt
hi again @amslimfordy, just spoken to xebic88 who informs me that the location of the button has nothing to do with the nest but lies with (i presume) rovio, please accept my grovelling apologies – should have known the nest wouldn’t do something so silly
Oh ye of little faith, @windwalker – if there’s one thing I’ve learned in my time at the Nest: Do not underestimate the power of @amslimfordy! For example, other day I was having a difficult time typing on my iPad. That’s when I noticed the Q key was right next to the W key? I immediately thought, I bet @amslimfordy can fix this! Sure enough, after sending him several typo-filled e-mails, my pesky QWERTY problem was gone! @amslimfordy and the gang removed that darn key altogether. Now I have a WERTY keyboard and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks AngryBirdsNest! Aloha.
Yay @surfcow glad he fixed your problem, he sure is a savior is @amslimfordy I am hoping he will use up a favour at Rovio and get that pesky button moved. I find my finger moves to reset before my brain is in gear and, although I immediately banish them, I’m being buried in blasted blue feathers. It is a spectacular display but I have never used powerups and I don’t want the flock to trying to impose their will on my game. Agree with you regarding AB Nest, its an amazing site
Thanks @sal9 for the video I used it to get my current score. And thank @Amslimfordy for clarification of the use of ‘blue and the flock’ good luck to all:)
I have no clue how people arr getting above 110k. Can someone please post either a strat or screen cap of how to get 110k or higher. It’s driving me bonkers
Ok, good to know the ‘Nest whine factor is still in effect. Went from 104k to 108k to 113k and now up to 115k.
This is a shampoo level, instead of lather, rinse, repeat, it’s fling, fail, repeat.
So am I. I was at 107 and below adverage. I made some more attemptes after your post and pass 113 and 116 (Top 15 – no so bad). I supoose so magic arc and point plus natural feeze of Blu (NOT forced) is a key.
Many people have been talking about how it’s so hard to reach 110k or around that. I too had trouble bringing my score that high until I just told myself to keep shooting the same shot.
However, I tweaked it a bit and got a better result. In the video, the bird is triggered on top of the cube wood block. I, instead, hit the small cube wood block and the bird bounced back. I triggered right at the top left corner of the cube wood block, ALMOST on top of the marmoset. You could even let him fall on top of him, but Blu will probably already have been triggered.
The FIRST time I tried this, I got 109950. Pretty soon, I raised my score to over 110k, and finally above average. I post this with a score of 114270.
Something about @tnatiuk17piano aka Trev17piano description about bounce back bird caused me to change my activation & I finally managed an above average score of 111600. A few shots later & I’m at least in the low teens with 113420. I will have to come back to this one as I’m very very far behind in Rio 2 & still have all but a couple of these TT & HH levels needing not just 3* but above average 3* scores.
I don’t think there’s a magical aiming point on this level, so just fire through the first marmoset and pray. One thing that seems important to high score is, the top structure needs to collapse a little before the TNT explodes. That blasts more debris to both sides of the level, taking out stuff on the ground.
Also used the ABN video for this level. After the blue bird hitting the small wood block and hope for the best on the destruction sequence…luck!
My score is 117,660 by Blu!

Fling Blu to first Monkey, after popping him, activate Blu’s power. The TNT box should be destroyed.
@karen68 I claim my Sharp Shooter badge. All pictures in my album. Inexplicably I have two TT5 pictures…
Anyone else want a new badge?

Congrats @hunnybunny, your screenshots look good!
You might want to update your score on TT 1-5, your screenshot shows a higher score than the one on your leaderboard. :)
@sweetp another badge to award please!
Thanks @karen68 and that makes me #1 in TT!
112870/1
I fail to see how or where I scored so many points compared to my other, exact, same, throws…
