Angry Birds Rio Smugglers Plane Walkthrough Level 2 (11-2)

Our strategy for Smugglers’ Plane level 11-2 is to bomb the bottom-left corner of the structure with the first White bird. Most boxes and all cages on the left side should break. This results in an easier shot into the bottom-left of the right structure, causing most of those boxes and all remaining cages to break. Some users have switched the order of these shots, which is perfectly fine. The score in the video below is 101,250.

11-2, 104220 w/2 Birds.. Hi from the “AngryBirds REHAB CENTER”, checked in ’cause I’m about to go crazy. Been searching for the “one birdie” shot it seems almost all my life on this level, came so close (see pic) but nothing since. To the few “shooters” that scored the one birdie shot, PLEASE help me, where or what did you aim for, would really appreciate an answer. Thanks in advance! Hope to see you soon here!..

Here’s another grab of the rough approximate of where to land the white bird. Having difficulty repeating so unsure if it should be top left middle or bottom of the third wooden block.

Finally, I got it with one bird. Not a huge score yet (108,920) but gets it pretty consistently. Tried to grab a screenshot at the last minute so not sure if it’s much use. OK so my technique is simply lob it in the middle but DON’T explode the white bird. Let it land hitting the side of the third wooden block. This usually knocks out the center of the left side of blocks on the rebound. Then it comes to refining and luck for both left and right to fall. Let me know if this helps or you want more explanation.

I’ve got it!!! it’s all about how much mango you can destroy… a mango gives 5000 points, so destroying all the mangoes with 2 shots earns more points than kill birds in one shot.

It’s been frustrating to have tried at least a thousand times and after three months, before I finally got the elusive one birdie. And most disappointingly, a score of only 112k! No doubt I would try to improve the score, but I hope I don’t need another thousand attempts!

I agree with sal9, that’s a great score. I keep trying, but still have the bottom far left cages remaining. I’d take 112k and run :) . It’s been a few days since I posted here, so this has probably been mentioned already, but I like the option of checking the box for alternate strategies. Does this highlight them, or move them up? Just curious.

11-2, 114860 w/one birdie!!.. Thanks to M_Pete’s soft w/b lob to the side of the third crate (below the y/b cage) that collapsed 90% of the right side structure that mysteriously blew out the left side structure’s center two bird cage that allowed the upper bird cages to fall and break open leaving only the extreme lower left y/b cage that was flattened when the last 10% of the right side structure fell to its’ left and smashed the y/b cage to smithereens!! Wow, what a beautiful sight!!.. If I only had a video instead of words to show the sequence of destruction..

Indeed, neither could I. I even stretched it out to the point where I can definitively state that hitting the top corner of the crate in question is what sets off the reaction. Hit anywhere else, and you’ve got nothing but a dud.

On a different note, I’ve noted that of all who’ve posted on this walkthrough page, all who’ve reported success with M_Pete’s strat are iOS users. Now I’m not one who claims, or for that matter, buys into wild-eyed theories, but nevertheless, I find the correlation somewhat curious. I’ve noticed this phenomenon seems to raise it’s head ever so subtly on several different levels. I’ve developed a working theory to account for this, but at present, I’ve no way to test it.

You’re not just whistling Dixie @truckdriver, I’ve been at this ridiculously easy looking level for 2 days now, the 1 bird kill eludes me as if I were its worst enemy, and the kills with 2 birds never score higher than the 104650 I’ve had since God knows when.

I see that it only took you an hour and 6 minutes to get yours, of course, I’m calculating from the time between your two comments, so maybe you’ve spent quite some time at it yourself anyhow.

@AMslimfordy, I can’t find a way to send you a public message, so I’ll do it from here.

My notification icon on the gold bar sometimes notifies me of @ mentions, and sometimes it doesn’t. I just saw that sal9 mentioned me in a comment only because I went to that particular walkthrough to check something else.

AngryAdvisor also @ mentions me regularly, but I only get notified about half the time. TruckDriver also @ mentions me me but I haven’t gotten the number in the white circle up on the gold bar.

Would you be so kind as to investigate this situation, thank you for anything you can do.
