Smugglers’ Plane level 11-14 can be difficult. Our strategy is to fire the first Black bird into the bottom-left of the structure, detonating when it is as far right as possible and hopefully clearing everything to the left of the center tower. Shoot the next Black bird into the middle of the center tower, detonating on impact. All that should remain is a long shot with the White bird, dropping its bomb on the canisters at the far right. The score in the video below is 91,660.

102,650….same as video, just more destruction. Definitely more points by knocking over the last tower on the right.

There must be a 2 bird method somehow, in order to achieve Stacy’s highscore of 114,600. I’ve tried several different methods but can’t figure out how 2 birds can take out these 3 towers. Will keep trying and let you know if I can figure it out :)

I wonder if a high arc into the top of the middle tower can cause debris to blow up the fire extinguishers causing the third tower to collapse, and then take out first tower with second bird. Looks like it could work but I haven’t had any success yet :)

I just goat an accidental 2-birder when the second bird went all the way thrrough the middle section. Only 101k though. Not even my highest.

11-14, 111250 w/2 Birds.. A few details on the same basic 2 shot theme..
1st shot – blk/b targets the lower (2nd/3rd stones) front of the first structure.
2nd shot – blk/b targets the center/exterior (“X” stone) of the second structure with a *highly arched trajectory* (goes through the chain) thats manually detonated for max percussion for the obvious collateral damage needed to take out the third structure..

Sorry, couldn’t get a “live” photo of the 2nd shot but here’s an “almost” instead that may help someone. Good luck! thx

This time I was able to take 2 photos, live and in color! Attach them together on your screen for a pretty good good idea on the trajectory’s path..

1st photo shows the exact launch trajectory path before the “NewHighscore” logo appeared.

Thanks for the strategy @marc987 and the video @justpast40. Fun level to play. Made the two bird solution a number of times but could not get good debris destruction for the higher points. With the first bird breaking the second stone sitting on top of the other seem to produce points in the 40k range more often than not. The second bomb bird seemed to be a matter of luck in getting the right structure with debris. Used the third bird a number of times but resulted in a lower score.

Aiming tip for the second bird is to zoom in and use the curved structure of the plane with the horizontal bat going through it in the light colored area. The bird is slightly away from the dark area for adjustments.

YEAH!!!Thanks Kathy as I tried looking at those above posted pix that marc nicely sent but…nothing, then I read your post and uped my score 8K points!!!I had come back today cause I couldnt get above average on this one and it was my last one in the PLANE to get so a big thanks!!! worked perfect, two birds first in the gap second to clean up front!!! Now I have reached my goals in YodTD, Plane and Den…moving onto the the Jungle, oh wait I hjave to enter in all my scores first, ugh!!! LOL!!!

@justpast40 thanks for posting the video from CrazyRider. That’s an amazing 2nd shot he makes. It’s helped me up my score to 109k with 3 birds, I needed Matilda to take out the right side of the last tower where the yellow cage is.

You’re welcome @karen68. I agree, his 2nd shot is incredible. I can’t get the right angle for 1st shot explosion either. I too have only manged to improve with all 3 birds & I’m a full 5k below you : -(, but it looks like @comex666 made the 2-birder with 115k score.

@justpast40 Try going straight through the middle of the birdcage and don’t activate. I’ve gotten as much as 44K I reset if I don’t have at least 40K. @karen68 I am in exactly the same boat you are in with a 109k 3 birder. I haven’t given up though…..

Thanks for posting that @crazy-rider video, @justpast40. That put real perspective on the strat shared long ago (over 3 years ago!) by @marc987. The screenshots he shared on imageshack have faded away to oblivion since then. I did get a good 3 birder for 108 today and then I saw where you had posted this video. Since then, I got oh so close and did get one two-birder, but it was a very lame 96k. Oh well. Now it is too late to keep on working this level. Of course, I will just keep going back until I can finally get a really good 2 birder.

Gypsybird, I don’t think I ever saw @marc987 pics, at least my starting score didn’t suggest I’d seen them, but when viewing @crazy-rider video on YouTube I suspected the strategies were the same or similar. I too came close to success (2-birder) once or twice, but a 106k 3-birder was all I could muster. 2 days ago I managed a puppy, so I have no complaints …. I’m a realist & know deep down inside I can’t greatly improve all of the time. If I ever in my lifetime get the Platinum Underdog Badge it will be a miracle ; -)

I started with 106k for the challenge and could not improve until I saw the newer @crazy-rider video. I did finally get the 2 birder after lots of flings. Thanks @justpast40 for posting it to show that it can be done.
