the chance 2 get 3 stars with his method is impossible. Keep trying different methods to get 3 stars, that is what I did, and I now have 3 stared all smuggler’s den

Okay so this to me is pretty amazing I dropped the first red bird like in the video but the blue bird cage feel and then bounced on the inner tubes and landed back up on top but upside down without breaking. Wish I was recording it at the time.

The highest score is less than 80k. I have 79340.
Found a relatively repeatable 1 bird solution leading to 92k+. Hit blue bird cage sligtlhy low. Often the red bird will fall in the gap that opens between the concrete structure and the wooden one. If the red bird falls without boucing too much it will crack the wood under the red bird cage causung the whole structure to collapse. Got several time high 80k and couple low 90K.
keep getting the red bird in the gap, but apparently only the left tower is able to fall down. The bigger structure holds its ground all the time.
You need a little luck for it to happen. I want to say that when it works the birds gets to the bottom of the gap without hitting the box above the red bird cage (at least this was a case on my last try).
When it does you will first see the horizontal wooden block below the red bird cage crack (not break). The right side of the big structure will slowly starts moving and eventually collapse.
Revisiting Rio after 2-1/2 years to improve my scores, and I find @eweber‘s strategy to work the best. I got lucky when the vertical cement planks on the left structure bent to the right, which made the hollow square cement block on top fall on the wood plank, breaking it. It was a very slow collapse afterwards, taking the right structure along with it. Two bonus birds for total 90,810, and time to move on. Thank you manu malin!

Okay, I’ll admit at first I thought this method sounded like hocus pocus, but after a few tries i see what you mean… The red bird does what you say, knocking out the soft crate and red birdcage, while the debris sometimes destroys that plank. Very clever. Thanks for sharing.
Here a year and a half latter and I am working through Rio again but on my iPad Mini, tried (@eweber) method but have yet to get it to fall. I did however find a variation, if the plank does not break and the towers don’t fall on the first RB, use the second RB to hit the top of the two solid bricks on the left of the center tower which starts the it swaying, it buckles, tipping the left tower over and then falls to the right to take out the right tower. 87k when all the dust and splinters settle.
I was stuck at 81k going for the yellow bird. Tried this and quickly got 86k with two birds. Someday I will return for the awesome 1-birder ;)
Hello @eweber, I’ve been trying your method for the better part of a week and I’ve yet to obtain the full collapse with a 1 bird kill, although I’ve managed to nonetheless raise my score bit by bit with 2 bird kills, so thank you for sharing your method. I’ll definitely keep on trying though.
Did the same strategy but the points are less. Repeatable but could not get into the 90k of points. Thanks @eweber for the post.
I think I am doing something wrong. I keep hittin the two bricks laying to the right of the blue birds cage. The left side of them goes up and they come back down to push the red bird into the gap. However, the push makes the brick tower collapsing to the left, leaving the overall structure harmless. Once it fell to the right, completed the level with a second bird, yielding me 87200…

I aimed my first shot to the TNT bucket, but hitting the yellow bird on the way. With some luck the whole thing fell apart. I had to use the second bird to finish the last cage, scored 84040.
I CAN NOT GET 3 STARS!!! >:( VERY FRUSTRATING!! I even used only one bird and STILL can’t get 3 stars! :(
Also be sure to check the comments, sometimes another user will have a method you might find easier than mine. Keep Trying!
hey…found a new way..first we have to hit just below as told in the video..it will directly kill the red bird then we have to hit the yellow bird…it kills other birds tooo ….and a 2nd way(needs some luck) hit the yellow bird directly and then the red bird will roll down and blast the tnt

Quite a few comments above describing different methods
I tried for 2 days to beat this level… Tried everything suggested… I even went on to get 3 stars in all the others but could never get a higher score than 78???. I went back and tried the TNT first one more time and finally got 3 stars but only barely….
I got 94130 with one bird but a totally different method. Launch the bird so that it bounces off the bouncy thing right under the TNT, when it bounces up, it exploded and everything just fell into eachother.
OMG I probably tried 50 times to do this and I was not able to do it. The best way and I finally did it with one bird was to hit the TNT. Good Luck!
Tried so many times on the video method, and TNT method. Cant get three stars.
Tried to hit the horizontal piece slight below what’s shown in the video. One shot 95880.

100900 .. one bird .. i was going through the motions trying to get a better score .. i think that I launched 1st bird towards the brown crate below the square concrete block .. all i remember is the crate and brown box getting destroyed, the square block (on which the blue bird is sitting) falls on the left and the entire crane structure falls to the right.. the overhang of the left structure takes out the right structure .. 2 birds remaining and total of 100900.. one of those elusive moments where everything goes right but it happens so fast..

I went straight thru the left bb cage then he slid down in between the very first strip of structure and broke the ight wood box with cross on it and middle red bird cage and caused the two top left first concrete blocks stacked on one another to go right and the whole thing swayed right, kaboom!

You’ll need an extra bird or two. Hitting the tnt first is not very effective but if you can get the tnt to bounce into the 2nd structure;it’ll save you a bird. If you’re in a rush just fling birds until you get it(seriously, I got 3 stars by just flinging birds randomly). Hope you can pass this level soon. :)
Hey girl, you poor thing…i hate when I cant remember how I even got a descent score to begin with much less trying to improve it, lol. I saw your post and thought I would come back and try to help you. I re-read my strat and tried it again and it seems to work..I hit straight thru the bb cage, it slid down thru the first thin structure and broke the light wood box with X on it and popped red bird like last time but the whole thing did not go kaboom but i used second bird to hit thru top middle crate thats now exposed, it then caused it to tip forward and tnt exploded and got last tower, not quite as high as last time but still 86Kish…Ill try some more for more tips…gl
I have done it like video many times but the score isnt high enough…try the bb you might get lucky like i did…
Ok found MUCH easier method..instead of trying to break the crate, hit the first bird right at the middle metal little horizontal piece just to left or red bird cage, this will take out the first structure and the red bird, you can use the second bird to hit tnt for all the rest or hit second bird straight into to know exposed middle empty wood boxes which will cause structure to go forward and tnt explodes to get last strucure:)..this should do it…gl…let me know if it worked for you. It worked for me 8 out of 10 times:)

it is challenging. the only problem i have is tilting the tnt to the top tower it keeps falling to the bouncy thing
AWESOME ALTERNATE STRATEGY:
If you guys have trouble with the video here’s another strategy. aim the red bird high so it hits the yellow bird sitting on the square stone block. the red bird should roll down and activate the tnt. (note: the red bird has to roll down the wood that holds the tnt. if you destroy the wood, the tnt would simply explode on the bouncer and not do anything to either structure). then the middle structure will fall to the right and destroy the structure.(note #2: the middle structure doesn’t always fall down but keep trying and you’ll get it. use the next red bird to destroy the left structure. aim at the two short vertical stone blocks for good results. got 81, 440 this way
Just did 106870 (top score) with this. Tired of trying hundreds of times manu malin strategy, I launched the first bird up in the yellow bird. Then when TNT explodes, was a complete mess finally, last debris jumped a lot on that rubber things, until the bonus points for the last two birds appears.
Did you lob the red bird or go for more of a direct hit on the yellow bird cage?

Sorry, but going through and using the top score differential, I had to flag this score. Even though there is an explanation.
Prior to flagging I methodically hit every last thing until I am comfortable stating that even with slow-fall and bouncy factor, there isn’t more than 81 or 82 K raw points, maybe 83, and that’s using 3 birds. Most likely scenario is that the one birder occurred as described, the raw score was at 66K (which is pretty darn good), and the dreaded DCB turned a perfectly fine >avg 86K and made it a 106.
I have repeated the shot and the strat and have a lot of 83-85K runs with a description that sounds exactly like the @tatake level. I was able to bump up to 89 with the @eweber manu-strat
Classic DCB symptoms – several thousand above the next score(s) which are pretty tight, especially if it was a former challenge level where your top tier flingers are duking it out.
Best strategy… you can get at least 80k once in every three attempts.
This is the only level I can’t get 3 stars on :( I’ve tried all these hints and still can’t get more than 2 stars. It’s really frustrating! :(

No matter what i do I can’t get 3 stars. I tried the way from video and read what other ways members have tried and still can’t get higher than 79960. It’s very frustrating.
@ncisgrabert, This is a level that requires some lucky bounces of debris. In the end it was the great Manu (of course) that came to the rescue. I followed his strat of red through the top cage & down into the gap. Most of the time it didn’t work, but a few times the very left stone tower collapsed in such a way that it hit & cracked the wooden plank under the red birdcage, which must happen for this to work. Red bird alone never cracked it with enough force for me.
It took an awful lot of attempts to finally work, so I’ll sing the familiar refrain – just keep trying, sooner or later it will work for you.
@eweber (Manu Malin) Finally got above average using your strat. RB did crack plank. Need some patience for left tower to fall; think I was restarting too quickly yesterday.
@ncisgrabert, this is one of those “play countless times and one day it happens” levels. Hang in there. I still get frustrated with this one. I can see how everyone’s method SHOULD work, but I still haven’t gotten above average. This was a good choice for the Challenge level :).
@wanda / @karen68 – yes this was definitely a good challenge. I’ve played at least 100 times today using the different strategies mentioned and still nothing. I’ll get it eventually. It’s just one of those levels where I’ll play one day and on the 1st try get 3 stars. Thank ya ladies for the positive reinforcements :-)
I have tried this method several times now and it’s working for me every time the first time. Aim your first red bird to go up and try to go beyond the top of the yellow birds head at the top. If it clips yellow birds head you’ll still be okay. There are three possibilities after that: It might clear the plank coming down, or it might hit it, or land on top of it. If it clears the plank you’re doing PERFECTLY (and this is my preferred way), because it will go down and hit the life saver, bounce back up and hit the TNT, thus causing a wonderful explosion that takes out the entire wonderful mess. I cleared the board and got my three stars with this method and only one man, the red one. If it doesn’t clear the plank, I.e. lands on top of it, or hits it coming down, it will then either roll off or continue to fall creating just about the same explosion only with a little less BOOM!! If you get the little less BOOM!!, you’re going to have to use at least one other man to get out of this, but you’re heading in the right direction. Just keep trying!

Nothing has changed on our end. Perhaps it’s an issue with your computer. Can you try clearing your Internet cache, else providing us with some more info.
