well just came back to this and watched video and took note of where the split was on video and one try improved to this 85520 so i split pretty quick after release…keep trying and I’ll try again and try to watch for better detsils :) btw…you are right about the comments but if you notice the written text in admins walkthrough doesnt say to not just leave scores like it does now , they added that in more recent ones, thats probably why they added that because too many people were just leaving scores,,doesnt help right…were spoiled now i guess, lol

ok re-did as promised,,i aimed bb at the “bright highlighted” if you will, background 5-line square thing there to the right and low of the fan and split bb exactly as it passes at the secondish line of this 5-line highlighted square thing…got 85680 this time…hope this helps.

The best way I’ve found is to aim the bb on a slight arc trajectory towards the bottom left of the cage atop the first pedestal. Split the bb around the window opening, thus striking the cage, and the pedestal beneath it. This should cause a cascading collapse rightward. More often than not, this gives a one bird solurion to the level.

An easier one bird solution is to line bb up with the v of the slingshot and split immediately.

@nikgreek – Could you please post descriptions of the strategies you used to obtain so many high scores in Rio Smuggler’s Den. Some of them are much higher than the next closest scores, and it is very unusual for one player to have so many high scores in one episode. Also, please remember that scores obtained using Power Ups are not permitted in the leaderboards. Thank you.

As have others, I followed the video strategy for a 1-birder. After many scores in the mid to high 80ks, I finally achieved enough destruction to break 90k and earn a puppy. I’m confident I won’t be alone on beating this challenge.

90600 with 1 bird for the daily challenge. Similar to the video but split immediately. To be precise, aimed so that the bottom bird breaks the rectangular block in front of the single-red-bird cage, the horizontal plank beneath it and the first vertical plank beneath that.
Key to a highscore was better destruction of the third tower, rather than it just falling right largely intact.

Thanks for the comment of splitting immediately @angrychicken. Used the one bird solution as did everyone else for this level. Tired to break into 90k score but could not gain the extra points on the far right tower.

Like the video but with immediate split as others have used.
The top blue landed on the middle tower & as it collapsed it fell with the debris into the gap between the middle & right towers to help with destruction.
