Angry Birds Rio Rocket Rumble Walkthrough Level #5

Our strategy for Rocket Rumble Level #5 is to send Stella above the two middle tnt boxes on the ground. The bubbles should lift them and destroy the hanging marmosets. Then loft Stella towards the boulder, and trigger upon impact. The score in the video below is 101,440.

The first shot just like the video. A couple of times–the last TNT on right–sends debris into the last column. Before the last monkey falls–send the second shot–again just like the video. The rock and spinning thing–destroy the bricks below.

After walk to 103K+ i set 107.850/#4 by another variant. There is possibility to take 1B there but with too low score. When all TNT explode with far right one too, fast send 2nd Leia to finish episode. Cleared staff is moped by Street Wheel and fallen round stone.

Not happening for me either I can’t get the bubble over the mountain to launch the rocket How do you get the hand icon to launch the bubbles?

You can also one bird it with the same first shot as the video, but so far I have only gotten 98k that way.

as i see it.. you need to use 2 birds or you dont get the damage score same for many levels these days

After quite a few flings, I finally got something to fly to the right side and set off the tnt. From @dawn-nelson I knew that I needed to throw the second bird, which I did. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how quickly the second bird needs to be flung. My level timed out before everything could score. I should have heeded the advice of @waimea and automatically flung the second bird right away.

I just scored 109,090 points by using the strategy originally posted by @dawn-nelson back in December 2013.

I did that same first shot hundreds,if not thousands,of times.
I did manage to set off the far right tnt a few times,but never got much destruction.

Finally, everything except the rope/hanging wood,and a few of the stone blocks were all that remained.

I launched the second pink bird just as the spinning wheel fizzled out.
The falling boulder cleaned up everything in the cave.

Thanks for the post @meanguy. I am stuck at 102k and trying to get into the 104k scoring range.
Did you reverse the order of flinging the birds in the @dawn-nelson strategy because you mentioned that you launched the second bird as the spinning wheel fizzled out?
Or did you activate the spinning wheel with the first bird going after the 4 tnt boxes? If so how did that happen? A piece of debris?
I am just trying to figure out how to improve my score.

@meanguy I got lucky with the first bird going after the tnt boxes. The most right tnt box blew and collapsed the structure in the cave. Launched the second bird into the cave for extra points.

Hi @wrw01 , I had to go back & look at the level and my high score screenshot to recall how I got my score.

I’m not sure how it happened, but I seem to remember that somehow, the spinning wheel thing was activated before I sent the second bird.
In my screenshot you can see the trajectory of the second bird.
