This is our walkthrough video for Angry Birds Rio Rocket Rumble Star Bonus Level #2. The level is unlocked by earning 40 stars in Rocket Rumble. One strategy is to fling the Yellow bird towards the center, and redirect him into the top marmosets. The resulting chain reaction should clear the right side. The send another bird in the same direction, and redirect him backwards. The score in the video below is 152,110.

How do you direct this bird? I can see no r’ship between where I tao and how the bird behaves .….. seems completely random, though solution suggests otherwise. Can anyone help me?

Hate hate hate. These are like the egg levels of Mighty Feathers to me. Not at all fun. Not even remotely. I actually quit eggs after about five levels and if there had been 15 levels with these rockets in Rio, same deal. I’m not invoking the whine factor here. I just despise these. I’m too competitive to let it go – one level without three stars. It’s the musician in me. You know, Carnegie Hall, practice practice practice…

What I tend to do is watch the tip of the rocket as it rotates in the direction I want to go and out sound off in my head yes …yes …yes …as it spins when the tip is aimed in the right direction, then when It gets to the area where it’s trajectory is correct, on the yes I tap the screen to set off the rocket. these are some of my least favorite levels to try to 3 star.

I am two strategies same as the bird of the first and the third of the video.
It was easy to repeat it in comparison with other bonus levels and felt that it was easy.
After the first bird was separated from a rocket, I think that I come back to the center area of the screen if there is force and am connected to score up.

Absolutely repetable level. I set very fast 154K, next was inferior period – to much thinking ;P. Later 151, few 154, 155, minimum 3 x 156 with improve by hundrets.

Set an arc. When it works – don’t change it. COUNT in mind, keeping same tempo: one and two and free and four and five – tap (adjust indywidually).

2nd shoot is easier if you clear all needed staff. If your best score are stabile you can take a little risk with 2nd shoot, trying to clear all ground staff from R to L side.

Pretty much followed the first and third shot of the video. I did notice in the first shot the rolling firework took out a lot more than in the video and YB (Chuck) came back and took out both boxes. Second shot was nothing special, but I was surprised at the score.

@Noni, Yes on my old Ipad, it is very unstable. my new Ipad 2012 Christmas works very well. .. nice and smooth.
@malasatara, I think these are the worst levels I have ever seen. . ( except for the bad piggies levels) I just started these bonus levels today, and came here for some sane solutions. However, ( me being a music teacher). I too was counting like BT, even tho I had not read his comments previously. LOL I did get a decent score on the previous level, but have not got my rhythm down for this one yet lol. I hate, I hate, I hate these bonus rocket birds. :)

I’ve noticed a LOT of musicians chiming in on the count. Is there a relationship between being musically minded and easily addictable to the birds?

I noticed @kelani previously citing the count, I’ve been counting one – e – and – a, two – e – and – a …..

For those rocket h8ers, try “one – I – Hate – Ya, two – I – Hate – Ya”

Lol .. I play 7 instruments and yes – I seem to have that certain beat in my head every time I shoot a bird .. Rhythm is everything :) .. (Also addicted to AB :s )

This level is video. Spent hours and the only way I’ve cleared the board (and only 2*) high arc into the middle ground, letting it hit the ground and doing it’s own thing

Thanks for the video @comex666 and the post @smonard88. Zoomed in for this level and lined up the birds with the post of the sling which helped with the landing of the bird in a more consistent manner.
