Angry Birds Rio Melon Walkthrough Level 27 (6-12)

This video shows you how to get the hidden melon in level 27 (6-12). Look for the labeled box in the latter third of the string of umbrellas. Feel free to try to get it with Red Birds, but I can’t reach it that way. However, with the Yellow Bird, a high arching shot will suffice.

Anyone else find 6-12 gets stuck after hitting melon? Bug on iTouch?

Yeah, ive had one red bird bounce left and right rapidly that it appeared orange instead of red. I waited several minutes but I paused it and went back to the episode screen and it was accounted for.

used red bird – just skimmed along umbrellas and it bounced up and down until the melon was released

If you use the red bird to break the melon box, shoot it at the first umbrella in line and it will bounce over and hit the box.

I have tried several times to get this melon. When I hit it with the yellow bird, it looks like a bird fight in the sand and just stays that way. The box is missing the label now, but I do not have credit for the melon.

I’ve seen that glitch a few times, but thought the melon would appear. Keep trying. Maybe restart your phone and try again.

I have exactly same problem. Very frustrating. Any suggestions for how to resolve, e.g. is it possible to reset the level?

I took the first yellow bird, aimed it to hit the left side of the 4th umbrella from the left (the low one right before the 2 watermelons. He rolled and skittered along the umbrella tops and hit the box. Perfection! Yay!

I also used the yellow bird but did it with an arc of medium angle. Direct hit.

Just FWIW, I got this melon by skimming a yellow bird across the tops of the umbrellas as low as possible. Not sure I could do it again, though…
