Angry Birds Rio Market Mayhem Walkthrough Level 12 (13-12)

One strategy for Market Mayhem level 13-12 is to send the White bird straight ahead, blasting as close to the middle of the bridge as possible. The supports for the bridge lack stability, so you can clear half of the level right then and there. In any case, send the Black bird into the gap and hope for a lot of damage. Plenty of points here for the taking! The score in the video below is 180,530.

I took out the whole thing with the 1st bird but not enough points only got 150,920 bummer

Close to strategy in video. Second bird got very deep into right side before exploding and took out most of it. Got 191K.

Got my (temporary?) Top Score with 2 birds, following the video strategy, Achieved very good destruction level, but still left over quite some debris. I see potential for up to 200k. Good luck chasing me here.

At least this level offers a bit of destructive entertainment while at the same time serving up decent scores, seems pretty obvious that the video way is so far the only way. Until somebody else discovers another, that is.

I’m having a really tough time getting the first shot to collapse the whole left side. My best score so far (175k) came from using the third bird to get rid of what remained on the right. There must be a sweet spot just left of that tower but I’m not finding it. Anyone notice platform differences? Good luck all!

On Android (Galaxy Tab II), I cannot get the left side to collapse like the video at all. My 172k was from before today’s challenge, so it was before I ever saw the video. I can’t replicate it at all.

I’m pretty frustrated. I’m coming in high, I’m coming in low. I’m dropping the egg before the vertical stone piece, on it, after it, on the wood, before the wood. Every possible combination and location and I CANNOT get the left side to fall. Forget top 50, I don’t even see a score above 180k in my future!

First shot as video, but….

Besides the left part, the little tower on the upper platform collapsed, leving a gap on the right side.
Second bird in an high arc into the gap, falling down to the ground, where it explodes, resulting in falling and collapsing debris.

@liontooth – that is about how it went for me too. 1st bird finally took out the whole top tower thing and left a nice open gap below. The Bomb slide down through to at least nearly the bottom and it took out a lot for more points. I gradually climbed today from 173 to 195k. That was fun!

Thanks for the post @liontooth worked great. I did not have the left structure fall all the time but that didn’t seem to matter. Placing the black bird in with the monkey with the banana or just to the right of it seemed to work the best. I also went down to the wood crate at the bottom but the left side would not fall. Tried as I may, couldn’t break into the 190k range with the sequence of destruction.

It is not essential that the left side collapses with the first bird if the gap @liontooth lowenzahn mentions opens up with the first shot, AND isn’t covered by too much debris. I got 189K doing that and the bomb bird didn’t even quite reach the bottom. The gap I am talking about is just to the right of the monkey with the banana. It gets wider after some first shots.
