If you aim for the floor of the second story of the house, it can go through to the bird in the bottom right room. When the building falls it tips up and hits the tower on it’s way down. – 113100

Thank u!! Didn’t believe one bit about the 1 bird thing as I got 100180 with 2 birds but I saw your post n tried it anyway n I got 111810 with one bird!

Got the one bird solution but aimed just above the floor so that yellow bird would come down at an angle to get the lowest monkey. Fun level to play in watching the destruction sequence.

Sometimes using more birds is actually better. If you think you can get more than 10,000 points with one bird, it’s better to fire than to hold.

If you are beating the level with only 1 bird, I imagine you are hitting the TNT on your first shot. As you can see in the video, you can do quite a bit of damage to the front of the structure with just 1 bird.

You should be able to do it with one bird. Once you get a nice first shot, destroying the house, wait a min or 2, the last tower will end up falling to the right. You don’t need to waist a second bird.

yeah, that’s how I got it last time. Unfortunately, I had the far marmoset remaining this time, so needed the 2nd bird. I had a large amount of collateral though, so I still got a decent score! I’ll come back to it later to try to improve further! :)

yeah, fortunately, there’s only a handful of levels I lost scores on, and mostly I’ve got better scores now than before. I did have 112k on this one, but I’ve got average now, so I’ll come back to it later!

108220…2 birds…did not get tnt…went threw 2nd floor just like video, I can’t get second bird to tip over tnt ..but ill take it for now ty:)

The way this level is constructed, I consider the TNT to be little more than a red herring, as I can get it to detonate and deliver all that many points. Certainly not enough worth firing a bird, in my opinion.

I would have never thought to get a top10 score on this level but this is how it looks like, I used a pretty weak high shot, who knows what I would have got with a straight one ;)

I wasn’t able to get any of the single, or even double, YB strategies to get me beyond 99.5k so I tried something different.
The methodology is as follows:
1a) Launch the first YB vertically and accelerate immediately.
b) To align the shot, pull down and rotate toward the vertical shaft of the Slingshot until the YB slackens. Then back the
rotation up a bit to get a full power vertical launch.
2) The goal is to explode the Dynamite and hopefully take out the two right side Marmosets, ~19 – 23k.
3) Launch second YB into the House at just below ceiling of the first floor.
4) Clean up with third YB if necessary.
My 104k used three birdies.

A couple of hints for those shooting for really high scores (i.e. 115K+):

1. Wheels of little carts holding little boulders are made of coconuts. Breaking each coconut is worth 5,000 points. You can break at most one of them with a direct yellow bird hit, or 2 or more with TNT blowing up the right way. I got my high score of 116K with 3 birds. I was confounded when the 3rd bird which I flinged to kill of the remaining monkey on the right plus hit the TNT brought in inordinate amount of points and flashed big 5,000 more than once. I then realized that two coconuts were gone! I don’t have any pointers on how to hit the TNT in order to break them…a couple of times the coconuts were right next to it and I hit it straight on but it didin’t break them.

2. If the tower is touched even slightly after the first shot, it will most likely fall eventually. It may take a relatively long time, i.e. 2+ minutes, so if you think you have a chance for a good score, don’t give up.

118810 with 3 birds.

One advice: go for the coconuts. Thanks to @fenikus for the tip.

My previous best was with two birds, the TNT exploded with the first Chuck (sent like in the video) and I got the rightmost coconut on the left side with the Chuck 2.

On this run, I did the same first two shots, but the TNT did not explode. So I sent Chuck 3 to clear it up and take two coconuts in the process.

I hope I’m not the only one having trouble with this Challenge. I don’t understand how 123k is even possible.

Very rarely do I start a Challenge & find I’m not be able to improve even just a tiny bit. I don’t mean for this to seem as if I’m bragging, but I say “very rarely,” because every now and then I’m already in the Top 50 or Top 100 (say the top 15%) when the Challenge starts & I don’t have the necessary skill to improve further. I started this Challenge with an above average score of 108310 (obtained or at least entered on the Leaderboard in May 2012) & the closest I’ve come is 107140 on my iPad.

There are currently 37 members on the “Improved” side of the Challenge page & as of right now, 23 of the 37 have a score in excess of 109k, so better then mine, but there haven’t been any posts/comments here to assist others. The most improved member’s score is 118k & more than 5k from the #1 spot, so @admins has this TopScore been verified?

Hi @justpast40 sorry i did not post what strat i used ,i improved early on in challenge from 116k with 1 bird ,i took a pic at the time intending to put it on here as well as question a few of the scores ( got sidetracked )

best results came when the right side fell slowly , had about 63/5 before right side fell .
FWIW the top scorers don’t even appear to be active @admins

@justpast40 yeh it seems lately we have stumbled upon a few challenge levels with exceptional scores ,whether thats from PU or counting lordy knows :)
ps.just a suggestion for any players tiptoeing around the Flock button .After hitting it thrice times i decided to throw all away ,and on the Ipad atleast if u hit it after that it seems much less sensitive ,and at worst it will ask if u want more , prefer it this way myself (wish all PU never were ) ,right thats my kinda whinge :-)

I just scored 122,840 points using only 2 birds.

The first bird was aimed at the wood beam under the second floor of the house. The bird sliced all the way past the lowest marmoset in the house.

As the roof fell, it pulled the middle structure down to the left, including the stone blocks under the structure.

The second bird I aimed thru the left train car, clipping the lower left corner of the tnt car. The car fell left, dumped the tnt & destroyed 3 of the coconuts, giving me a new High Score.
